What a sweet little book. As a fan of Ruth Bader Ginsburg I love to collect all of the things about her and I am excited to add this one when it publishes. A sweet kids book that could inspire many to aim high and think outside the box that society has made.

I am going to buy a few of these to give to many of the kids in my life.

This delightful book about a true role model, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, is beautifully written and easy to understand for young readers. Children will be inspired by the story of a powerful woman who always fought for what she believed in and was never deterred by those who opposed her beliefs. Boys and girls will learn to stand up for themselves and their ideals and to never give up, no matter how difficult things may seem.

I am looking forward to sharing this with my elementary school students this year as a part of our nonfiction unit. I will also be looking for more books in this series to add to my classroom library.

The little people big dreams series are a wonderful way to introduce important real life characters to children and adults. Ruth Bader Ginsburg is someone who should be widely recognised as an inspiration to all who strive for equality. This beautifully illustrated book tells her story in a simple and clear way. It is a great addition to the already great series and has made me want to learn more about Ruth and her life.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg is a powerful role model. She was not afraid to stand up for what she believed in, even if not everybody agreed with her.

She did not win every 'fight', but that she never gave up, she believed that everyone should have the same opportunities regardless of race or gender.

These are qualities and values we can strive for.

The Little People, Big Dreams books give a brief and succinct account of a person's life, depending on the age of the reader/audience, they can be a great starting point for more in-depth discussion or research on topics. In this book for example, with older readers, it would be interesting to find out more about Sweden and their steps towards equality, and maybe think about what 'equality' looks like where you are from.

Even the simple line in the book 'feminism isn't just about girls'...is a great starting point for discussion.

Thank you to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group – Frances Lincoln Children's Books for the opportunity to review this title.
