This is an abridged, adapted version of the Mary Shelley story, simplified to be accessible to intermediate students of English as a second Language.

This is a brilliant story regardless of the adaption.

This particular adaptation has been done for children with English as a second language. As long as they are not too young it should do great. I'll admit I ran it past my sister who teaches at primary school. She said she wouldn't read it to her class but then hers are very young.

So have fun with this. Maybe not as graphic as the original but still good.
