Cam is under pressure to finish the script that he is writing however he can’t seem to find the momentum to get it done. What better way to turn it around then by visiting his hometown with his best friend Reese except for the one complication that he wants her to play a starring role in his life romantically rather than just as friends.

Reese and Cam’s families have been friends since they were children and they have been best friends for just as long. She is determined to be there for him but between their changing feelings for each other and the secret she holds you know you are in for a bumpy ride.

Fun and flirty I enjoyed seeing Cam and Reese try to maneuver the changing parameters of their relationship and there is a great cast of secondary characters that make it even better.

Oh, my heart! Robin Bielman has brought the heart-stealing sweetness with Written for You.

Cam and Reese were so much fun! This was a frothy small-town, family-driven romcom filled with banter and hilarious quirks. I adored my time spent falling in love with Cam and Reese as their opposites attract / friends-to-lovers story popped with banter and heart. And I am intrigued by Cam’s brothers (I mean, mostly because football players are my catnip for real. And a hunky mechanic? Yes, please.) and their unique back-story.

I just really enjoyed my time with this lovely family and these super fun characters. Written for You was a quick, playful, sweet treat for my heart. If you’re looking for something light-hearted and uber sweet, this is the perfect pick-me-up!

I'm a long time reader of this author and this is honestly my favourite book by her. I absolutely loved this book. I was hooked from the opening lines to the very last page that I turned with a huge smile on my face and the feeling that I just finished a book that will be on my favourite list forever and one that I only then realised that I inhaled. Once I started reading it, I didn't want to put it down.

If you are after a book that you will be happy to get lost in, one that will have you falling in love with the main characters in Reese and Cam and will leave you grinning from ear to ear then THIS IS THE BOOK YOU NEED TO READ!!!

I love, love, loved this book. Everything about it, from the setting (I so want to move to Rustic Creek), to Cam and Reese and the secondary characters that you will adore this book owns my heart. Hands down.

Such a sweet, heartwarming love story!

Cam starts falling for his best friend, Reese, while he's also battling a deadline for his next screenplay. His family is closely tied to hers, so the risks of a romantic relationship are significant. Reese is a terrific character, a woman who knows him better than he knows himself and is uniquely positioned to challenge him the way he needs to be pushed.

The writing is fun, with insightful snippets in screenplay format and intelligent banter that shows how well these two fit together. I loved the secondary characters just as much, and I hope to read more in this fictional world. Cam and Reese's HEA was joyous and oh-so-satisfying. I highly recommend this delightful story. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This is a best friends to lovers RomCom about a screenwriter and his best friend that has been in his family since the two of them were adopted by different close families. I’ve read a few books in the past from this author, all very funny and engaging, however this story was a bit on the slow side for me. Had all the right elements, small town romance, good families, emotional history, interesting jobs, and a little drama, but the dialogue just seemed to drag on with no real chemistry between the two. Yes they had a secret attraction since childhood, but it just didn’t work for me. Cute ending with the screenplay.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.

This was a beautifully written best friends to lovers book. I appreciated that both characters had such a solid friendship that there was genuine concern over being together. They didn't want their bond impacted.

What a cute friends-to-lovers read!

Cam is working through writer’s block, and using Reese as his inspiration in Written For You, by romance author Robin Bielman.

This was certainly a “feel-good” romance, and an enjoyable read. A definite slow-burn, full of banter, and wonderful side characters! This will put a smile on your face and warm your heart!

I was excited to pick up a new Robin Bielman book! She has written a few of my favorite romance books and series and this is another great read.

I loved the way Cam and Reese cared for each other. Their friendship felt believable and you could tell how important they were to each other. That made it even better when the feelings between them continued to build and their relationship shifted.

The writing and character building are well done and I was hooked from the beginning. The story is sweet with humor, romance, and fun secondary characters, too. I definitely recommend reading this excellent friends to lovers story!

Written for You is the perfect romantic comedy. Fun, flirty and fresh with the emotion to back it up. Bielman gives love a makeover from a male's point of view. Cam has a great deal to learn about matters of the heart and it's up to his best friend to show him the way. Reese and Cam are the sweetest kind of heartache. The type that leaves you with a smile.

Who doesn’t love a good friends-to-lovers book??? And let me say this is a good one. The writing was so good and the characters were great. The back and forth with the hesitancy to cross the line into a romantic relationship was great!!

Theres some small-town action which is always great, there’s the long term connection and just knowing your partner, the ability to talk “shop” and discuss your passions and have support. The familial relationships were also really well written! I loved reading about the brothers and I hope they all get their own books because I would LOVEEE to read them.

I will also say the conflict was good and so was the resolution. There were some hurtful things said but it was 1000% followed up with a genuine and good apology that addressed their mistakes. Something that upsets me is when a truly intentionally hurtful comment is glossed over without its own apology. I can’t explain why but it bugs me so much. That was not the case here it was so good!

Overall I really enjoyed this book and I would definitely recommend it!!

Thank you to Netgalley and Entangled Publishing for the opportunity to review! All thoughts are my own!

Review will be posted on my Instagram on the 22nd or 23rd of August.

Robin Bielman is an author that lives in sunny California and it shows as her books are always full of lightness and fun! Written for You is a sweet friends to lovers story with a cute couple, a wonderful setting and amazing secondary characters.

Cam and Reese have been best friends forever. Cam has to work on a new script for cinema and Reese ‘s there to motivate him. When they gather at a idyllic small town visiting family and working, they suddenly realize that their feelings are deeper and they want to kiss and undress each other. Can they put their friendship in line?

Cam is a caring, loyal hero who adores his best friend, Reese. Reese is a carefree girl and I liked her spirit and her disposition. I loved the fact that their friendship is important before and after the affair. They have an honest bond and they have helped each other in difficult times. It is not often I like friends to lovers stories because I cannot feel the connection but for these two it is shining.

I adored the family dynamics and how close everyone is. Cam’s brothers are fun and supportive and the fact that they are all adopted made it even sweeter.

Robin always writes charming scenes and dialogues and as Cam is a screenwriter , the author sometimes puts some of the couple’s thoughts as a dialogue of a movie and that might be a little confusing.

Also, the big secret that caused a little drama was not so important for their fight.

I think Written for You is a warm, entertaining romance that could be an adorable Hallmark movie!

There are things I liked and then there are things I didn't really like about this one. I usually really enjoy when a book includes sometime of different format such as letter or texts but this one had scenes from the screenplay he was working on. Instead of it complimenting the book I felt like it took me out of the story too much. Both of the main characters were writing screenplays and it wasn't clear exactly whose screenplay I was reading. I was also very confused on if the screenplay was what a was actually happening in real life with characters or if it was just what they were wanting/hoping? It was just very unclear. I can't say I really felt any chemistry with the two characters either. Cam would try to be romantic and then just sound cheesy. I felt like near the end it was built up for there to be some grand romantic gesture at the BBQ and then it just fell flat. Sadly I also didn't really like the ending. I did like the family dynamics of this book and how both characters had a similar history to link them together. I did feel like their grand house in with all the amenities was odd in the small picturesque Hallmark type town that was described. It was an ok read.

I enjoy reading this trope of friends to lovers and even more so with the families being close friends. Cam Radcliffe is a screenwriter and is under contract to write another blockbuster action flick but he just can’t stop thinking about his best friend Reese.

Cam and Reese are two characters that are absolutely precious together. Such a great read - I didn’t want it to end!

Written for You was SO good. It was completely classic friends to lovers and I loved it so much. I really enjoyed the found family dynamics as well and how close knit everyone was. It was so nice to watch Cam and Reese develop their relationship and their banter with each other and the other characters was super light and fun. Nash and Gael were also really fun and the brotherly dynamic between all three guys was great. This was just the perfect light read and I am definitely adding more of Robin Bielman's books to my list. There was also a Princes Diaries reference and that in it of itself is iconic. I was really craving a sweet small town romance and this was perfect. Great characters, great story, and I loved the competition aspect as one of the main plot points.

The perfect rom com that will have you laughing out loud through out the story. A heart warming, sweet but sexy story of best friends Cam and Reece that are afraid a romance will ruin their friendship if things don't work out, but soon they can't deny the chemistry that they share.

Loved the Radcliffe family, the boys all share such a closeness. A wonderful sweet town of Rustic Creek, makes me want to visit. This is a book that I did not want to see end. Can't wait to read more of the Radcliff brothers. I highly recommend this rom-com!!

4.5⭐

Written For You is a wonderfully written story. That's set in a charming small town, has genuinely likable and engaging characters, and a best-friends-to-lovers romance that develops at such a delightful pace, you can't help but be pulled in. And with such a sense of family, not to mention plenty of sparks, sweetness and fun, this truly is a brilliantly entertaining story. And I really hope to read more from the Radcliffe men in the future.

Would happily recommend.

🎬Ultra slow building romance for a screenwriter with writer's block🙄

2.5-3 🌟 stars
If you like friends to lovers romances that include a good many buddy moments that oh, so slowly lead to romance this may be a story for you. Unfortunately, for me, the friends turning to romance took too long. By the middle of the book I was still not invested in the couple and at times the female lead's flirty moves in front of her friend and the constant distractions she engineered that pulled Cam away from his writing just irked me.

The author used an unusual technique by including chapters in a movie script style occasionally. Not something that I thought worked all that well. I could not tell whether one of the characters had actually written the scenes or if they were just daydreams.

Thanks to Entangled/Amara and NetGalley for sharing a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest opinion.

My first time reading this author, but not the last. I loved her characters, and the story created. The friends to lovers’ relationship between Cam and Reese contains plenty of angst and chemistry.

Reese and Cam have been friends since childhood, but is their relationship changing? Will they risk that friendship?

I enjoyed reading this book, and I hope we get to read more about Cam’s brothers soon.

Cam and Reese have been best friends since they were kids, but now they are seeing each other in a different light. And I really liked how they talked it out. They have an undeniable attraction between them, but still they are hesitant to take things further because of how it might affect their family.
I found this to be a very cute read. I enjoyed the bond between the brothers and the overall banter. It is a well written story with some amazing characters. I enjoyed reading Written for you and hope we get stories on the other brothers as well.
