Sometimes you just need a little help. Witchcraft is not all about being the good witch. Sometimes enough is enough. It may be a psychic attack, or a curse, maybe a pesky spirit that just won't go away. Why should you be annoyed? This book has many suggestions for the witch who is tired of being dumped on. I enjoyed reading this. I have had to use some of these tips over the years and I learned of different ways to get help with problems I .recommend it. I received this book from Net Galley and Llewellyn Worldwide for a honest review. This is it..

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for providing this book in exchange for an honest review.

Hex Twisting is a great book if you want to a complete guide to dealing with various forms of magical attack. The book covers a lot of interesting angles not covered in many other books. It was a great read with very practical workings. I would have liked to know beforehand that the book mainly draws from a Hoodoo framework. There isn't anything wrong with that, but the title and description didn't make it 100% clear. The author made a point throughout to indicate cultural practices with sensitivity throughout so it was just strange that the Hoodoo didn't get much of a mention in the books description. Good book overall.

A great guide on reversing negative energy (and magick!). This book is full of reversal spells, tarot spreads, and general information..

Good book, things to consider when it comes to hexing, protecting yourself and ways to help if thinking a hex or whatever did come to you. Good to look at.

I am going to be honest - I don't typically believe in hex's but if you do this is the book for you. The book has a lot of humor to it and I would be able to utilize a couple of the spells, or cleansings. I really liked the layout of the book though and it flowed nicely

I am an anthropologist and speculative fiction writer and found this book to be a wonderful resource for both of those interests. I highly recommend it for other authors wanting to breathe current practices and beliefs into magical realism fiction and mundane fantasy.
I am probably not the main audience for this book, but as someone who read extensive academic work on shamanism and its symbolism across the world, I was very intrigued to read about a western understanding, where the need came from, and the general point of view.
This is completely infused in modern times, very clearly written in a casual, anecdotal voice that makes it very easy to understand. The chapters are clear and you can quickly flick to the part that interests you, or find it again. I would have liked a little more explaining the principals behind each theory and about the author journey, like the anthropologist I am, but it remains a very interesting insight.

In this time of chaos, harmful energies are all around. It doesn't help that Tik Tok has thousands of videos about how to hex your enemies. Author Diana Rajchel has compiled a comprehensive and easy to understand guide on how to counter curses and hexes thrown your way. Whether its using tarot cards or another method to find out whether you really are suffering from a hex and not just having a bad day, to sending back that negative energy, Rajchel's writing is smart, funny, and helpful.

Psychic attacks are no joke, and even the nicest person can find themselves on the wrong end of a curse. Thankfully, the book Hex Twisting is here to help protect those in the realm of magic.

Hex Twisting is available November 8th from Llewellyn Press.

Exactly what it proclaims to be. A worthy addition to any practitioners bookshelf, Hex Twisting delves into the ramifications of offensive work, ranging from the psychic toll it takes on the practitioner, to the long term ripples it can cause in practice.
While most prefer to work from the defensive, it is important to have these tools should the need arise, and Hex Twisting is a solid foundation of knowledge in that regard.

While most of us work and live in the light, it doesn’t mean that others aren’t working and l living under the cloud of dark magic. This book is a must read if you even think you may have been cursed. How do you identify it’s a curse and not just random bad luck? How do you protect yourself? This book helps you with this and guides you in how to counter them. Be prepared by reading this book and being ready, because you never know when it could happen to you.

Wow! This book is awesome and is what every person who believes they have been cursed or just given a bad dose of negativity needs. You will learn how to tell if you have been cursed. You will learn how to get rid of it which is probably why most people will read . Secondly most all the causes of negative occurrences in the supernatural are given which I found remarkable. I did not know that spirits can be hired by some evil type to do nast y things for their benefactor. Not to worry! Ms Rajchel has given very simple methods and ways to remedy even the most severe situation. Her writing is conversational and uplifting and the reader feels the help coming as they read and discover no curse is forever and healing is always possible.
