The preview I read was entertaining. The female main character is the most endearing I’ve read in a long while. I can’t wait to read the rest.

A very funny, addicting, and interesting introduction for a book I can't wait to read upon release. I don't normally read samplers, but this one looked too good to pass up, and amazingly enough: I was right. This book, I'm sure, is going to be a wonder in it's own right and I can't wait for this to come true when the book comes out. Very excited!

As someone who’s watched a lot of Keanu Reeves movies, I had to read this one as soon as it was put on my radar by a friend.

I was immediately drawn in by the title! Lu is a hilarious and quick-thinking heroine, who seems like she has the potential to get herself into all sorts of schemes. True seems like a very stable and dedicated friend who will no doubt prove invaluable as Lu attempts to discover whether Keanu is truly getting married and how to stop it if he is. In this quick book preview I learned that Bethany is very close to her friends. I love their relationship and I was a;lready laughing. I can't wait to see what type of shenanigans they happen to find themselves in on their road trip. Friends to lovers has never been my favorite romance trope. I do have a feeling that True and Bethany Lu (aren't their names so cute) will change my mind,.

The first few chapters promises a fun rom-com style book with a strong independent woman protagonist. From the sample, I would say that this will be a favourite among Jasmine Guillory fans. I love the title of this book, so I requested to read the preview. I haven't read the whole book, only a couple chapters provided in the previous, but I had a hard time getting into it, mainly because I felt like I was picking up in the middle of the story. I couldn't quite understand what was going on, but I did enjoy the relationship between the three main characters.

Loving this excerpt! I have a good guess as to where the story is going, but I look forward to reading it all the way to the end. These are fun characters, and I love that they're not in their 20s. And the title? It absolutely hooks you and draws you into this world. Really looking forward to reading the rest of this one!

Well, I got through the couple chapters of this preview and I do not think I will purchase the actual book. Having not read anything previously from this author, I couldn't tell if it was her style of writing or what, but these 3 chapters were hard to read.
I do think that the publishers/editors did this story as an injustice. It had the potential to be something awesome since Keanu Reeves is such a prominent figure. It's such a shame. I hope this doesn't deter you, whoever is reading this review. I feel like you should always try something once. And who knows? Maybe the rest of the book that was not provided for NetGalley, will be better.

Just going off of the first few chapters of this book, I can already tell that it's going to be a totally cute friends-to-lovers romance. While I don't always like the trope due to the unrealistic way that it can be written, I have high hopes for this book, and I don't think it'll disappoint! The premise is certainly quite unique to any others that I've heard about recently, but different, in this case, is most definitely a good thing.

So I understand that this book is about a woman who is a little too into her pop culture crushes, but it was really weird to see inside the mind of someone who was really too intense about her pop culture crush on Keanu. And intense about her smoking hot econ professor high school friend. There were some nice little hints about dark pasts and hidden desires, and some the characters do seem rather fun The love triangle being set up looks interesting too. This would make for a fun beach read.

I’m glad this was only a sample as it was painful to read. Both the writing and the humor were just NOT for me. If this was a full length book I would not have been able to continue reading.

I was on the fence about whether I was going to read this book in the first place so I was glad that this preview was available because unfortunately this book could not hold my attention at all, so I’m glad I’m not committed to reading the entire book. The humor felt very contrived and the whole plot held no interest for me.

I really enjoyed this book preview and look forward to reading more! Bethany Lu is an ultimate Keanu Reeves fan girl. She is devastated to find out that he's getting married in only 90 days. Her friends, True (Truman) and Dawn naturally understand how significant this news is for Lu. I really like that the book begins in New York, I love that there's already an introduction to the backstory of their friendship and their upbringing in the first few chapters. I can already tell this is going to be an important Own Voices book for 2021.

K.M. Jackson has done it again. "How to Marry Keanu Reeves in 90 days" is an unexpected title and I think the ride we are about to go on in this book is going to be unexpected as well. This book feels fresh from the writing to the characters. I am looking forward to getting to know this group of friends and how this headline is going to change things for all of them.
