Shiloh is willing to try anything to save her family‘s farm, which includes hosting a Fall Daze festival. The picturesque October afternoon is interrupted by Minnie who is hell-bent on revenge. Shiloh’s best friend Kristy runs the farmer market and recently accused Minnie of stealing money. Minnie picks a fight in front of everyone with Kristen, and even includes Shiloh, promising to make her life miserable.

By the end of the day, Minnie is found dead with Kristy’s scarf wrapped around her neck. Shiloh and her cute pug set out to find the true killer to clear her friend. Intriguing truths emerge and not everyone is as they seem in the small town of Cherry Glen.

Put Out to Pasture provides a quaint farm, a lovely autumn atmosphere, and plenty of quirky characters to keep you entertained with this perfect cozy fall mystery.

Thank you NetGalley and Poison Pen Press for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Shiloh Bellamy has come home to Michigan after years as a Hollywood producer. She's got the family farm back on track and is excited to hold the first Fall Daze festival. The excitement reaches a fever pitch when the body of Minnie Devani, local curmudgeon, is found under a scarecrow, scaring off all the festival revelers. Will Bellamy Farms be able to rebound from this tragedy? What's worse is Shi's best friend Kristy is the police chief's favorite suspect, will Shi be able to clear her name?

The setting of this series is great, a quaint Midwestern town, a run-down family farm, a woman returning to her roots to follow her passion. In this book we see the arrival of a sexy new neighbor and Quinn begins to indicate that he might be interested in more than friendship with Shi. Shi makes the rounds while investigating Minnie's murder, meeting more of the townspeople and making a few waves along the way as she picks up little clues to the killer's identity.

This is my 3rd Amanda Flower book. I enjoy them a lot, I do feel like they're a bit longer than they need to be but they're always a fun read.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an ARC.

I love the farm setting of this cozy mystery! I have not read the first one in this series, but I enjoyed this anyway. The characters are believable, and the story draws you in. I especially love the little girl!

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the advance e-book! All opinions expressed are my own.

Shiloh Bellamy has saved her family's farm from financial ruin—but now what? She's barely scraping by on the farm's new organic business model and the fall festival she organized to drum up business comes to a screeching halt when the body of a prominent townswoman is discovered underneath a scarecrow in a nearby field. Worst of all, the evidence points to Shiloh's childhood best friend, Kristy, as the prime suspect.
This is the second in the series and it doesn’t disappoint. Shiloh works hard to save her farm and be there for her dad.

Through NetGalley, I received a free copy of PUT OUT THE PASTURE (Book 2 of the Farm to Table Mysteries), by Amanda Flower, in exchange for an honest review. Shiloh Bellamy has taken over the family farm and now needs to generate more revenue. The revenue will keep the farm from going bankrupt and bankroll Shiloh’s desire to purchase the half of the farm her cousin sold. Shiloh has decided to put on a fall festival in order to generate more income. It’s way more popular than expected until a body is found under a scarecrow on the farm. The evidence points to Shiloh’s best friend, Kristy, being the murderer. Shiloh finds herself hunting a killer in addition to her other activities in an effort to keep her bestie out of prison.

I liked it and the prior book. I’m a fan of Amanda Flower’s other series, too.

What a fun Fall mystery! This book brought the essence of a mystery that kept me guessing and had all of the fall and farm elements.

I really enjoyed all of the characters since they felt like they could be my own neighbors. I also kept guessing the murder along with Shiloh's thought process.

Of course I want to know more about the fate of the farm, Shiloh's neighbor, Grandma's note, and Quinn. Hopefully some of those things are put into future books.

I love that I couldn't figure it out until the big reveal at the end! That is the best kind of mystery and thus one was heart-warming on top of that!

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for providing me a digital ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I always enjoy these fun and cozy mysteries; they never seem to disappoint! The second in the Farm to Table series, I've been looking forward to it. While you don't need to have read the first to follow along, it would be helpful. That said, I guess I was much more bothered by Stacy's antics in the 1st book than Shiloh was because all seemed to be forgiven in this one.

I'll be curious to see if a potential love triangle has begun!

Thank you Netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are mine and mine alone.

A charming small town cozy mystery with a diverse cast of characters. I love the premise and setting for this series. The murder mystery aspect kept me guessing and wasn't too over the top. A solid second novel in what is sure to be a popular new cozy mystery collection. Much thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for my advance review copy.

The second in a new series, this book follows Shiloh as she continues to try to save her family farm. I’m really liking this series, and as i follow Amanda on social media and see her transition to farm life, i can see how she’s pulling from her own experiences.

I struggled a little with parts of this one… there were a few inconsistencies from the first book (perhaps some of that will be updated in final edits), and for some of the characters, it was really hard to relate to or have any sympathy for them. Overall it was an enjoyable story and a quick read, and I always enjoy books from Amanda Flower. .

Thanks to Net Galley and the publisher for the complimentary digital review copy of this title.

Shiloh is back with another murder mystery to solve. Enjoy the work by this author, and this series is no exception. A great group of characters, and although the tension between her and Quinn should be squared up more, I still would give this a great rating. Highly recommend.

I received this ARC via Netgalley and Poisoned Pen Press, in return for an honest review. This is the second book in this series and easily read as a standalone. Shiloh Bellamy is working hard to save her family farm and get it on a stable financial footing. Her father’s not a huge help so getting local publicity about her Fall Daze festival at the farm is only good, right? Ummmm, except that she’d not anticipated the hordes of people descending on the farm and wanting food. Almost out of her farm-to-table organic foods, Shiloh puts in an emergency call to a dear friend who runs the local diner – fried Twinkies to the rescue! While that seems like the worst problem, Shiloh’s best friend has an encounter with one of the meanest women in town. When that woman is found dead and Shiloh’s friend is accused, Shiloh’s going to ensure justice is done and her best friend is cleared. Oh, and continue to work on keeping her family farm, develop her organic food, and determine if there is buried treasure on the farm?
The author shows her skills at keeping everything moving along and the story’s multiple characters are all clearly detailed and enjoyable (well, except the bad guys!).

Thank you #Netgalley for the advance reader copy of Put Out to Pasture by Amanda Flower in exchange for an honest review. It's autumn in Cherry Glen, Michigan and Shiloh Bellamy came up with the idea of Fall Daze. Too many people turn up and there is not enough organic food. A woman is found strangled. This was a great story. I love reading Amanda Flower's books and read this in a day.

Shiloh Bellamy is working her tail off on her family farm trying to get it back on its feet. But when another murder happens and her best friend is accused of committing that murder, Shiloh knows that she has to prove her friends innocence. Chief Randy is all for a cut and dried case, but Shiloh knows that her friend didn't commit the murder. There are many suspects that come to light because the victim was not well-liked. And what about Shiloh's grandmothers mysterious allusion to a treasure on Bellamy Farm? Was her grandmother speaking literally or figuratively? Add onto that Shiloh's relationship with her dead fiance's best friend Quinn and Shiloh has a full plate to keep her busy. Will she be able to solve who the murderer is or will she be the next victim in order to keep her silent?

I really enjoyed this second book in the Farm to Table series! I am enjoying the characters and the mysteries. Things are looking pretty bleak for Shiloh and the recovery of the farm, but she is determined to bring it back to life. I like that about her character. She is not willing to give up on this project even with all of the impossible tasks she sees ahead. The animals that are always present in Amanda Flower's books bring a smile to my face and fun antics to the story. I like the relationship between Quinn's daughter Hazel and Shiloh. I also like the fact that Shiloh is able to see beyond people's behavior into their hurts. She's able to bite her tongue several times which is admirable. I do wish she and Quinn could get on the same page about whether they want to be friends or more! Dancing around the subject or ignoring it isn't helping either one of them. If you are a fan of cozy mysteries then I definitely recommend this book. It is a fun, fast and entertaining read and you won't be disappointed.

I enjoyed this book quite a bit. Farms in autumn are the coziest to begin with, but the addition of great characters and a mystery make it irresistible. I enjoyed the premise of moving home to save the family farm, creating a successful festival to do so, then finding a body on the premises. It was a quick, fun, cozy way to spend my Saturday.

This is the first book I’ve read by Amanda Flower. Her books have been recommended to me by so many people, and I’m thankful to NetGalley and Poisoned Pen Press for granting access to this ARC. I’ll definitely be checking out her other books!

Fun cozy mystery that captures the reader's attention from the beginning.
I read a few different series by this author, and they are always fun and interesting.
Thank you for selecting me to read an advanced copy of this book.

Shiloh Bellamy gave up her career in Hollywood to save the family farm. During the first day of a festival on the farm things are looking good and her organic treats sell out. But the day ends on a sour note when a local woman is found murdered on the farm, with Shiloh’s BFF’s scarf wrapped around the woman’s neck. Now Shiloh has to save more than the farm, She has to save Kristy from prison as well.

With a few suspects on her list, Shiloh adds a few more as she starts digging around. Caught between the local sheriff and a federal marshal, Shi has to balance her actions to keep both law enforcement agents happy while clearing her friend. But will Shiloh go down along with the farm this time? Only time will tell on both fronts.

A good entry in yet another fabulous series from Amanda Flower. She obviously uses her personal knowledge of life on a farm to help build the story and characters….and you will love them as much as she does. If you haven’t read any of Amanda’s work, this is your chance to start. You’ll find out why she’s a fan favorite and be hooked just like the rest of us!
