Charlie Owns the Night recovers all the tragedy of the Vietnam war. Ms. Cullen has written a detailed story of love and loss but, at least for me, it did not bring strong emotions regarding any of them, it was as if she was taking a portrait of people and what was happening. For a romance, it needed to be stronger on feelings.

this had so much going on and I think it worked for this book. The characters were great and I really enjoyed the story itself.
