What a great mystery….very concise is a good way to describe it. No filler, extra’s, no useless characters that don’t add to the story. There are nine people on a list, you read about these people, and it was great!

This is a perfect mystery. Everything about it was thrilling. The plot holds together, the characters are engaging and there was nothing trite or predictable about it.
Nine people are sent a list, nine names on the list, then they start being killed. Readers can’t easily figure out who the murderer was, until the end. Every page was full of excitement and surprisingly well developed characters.
Best mystery I’ve read in a long time!
Thank you Netgalley for this opportunity, loved it!

A short suspenseful book perfect for a quick read that wants to be And Then There Were None, an Agatha Christie tale. Nine people receive a list with their names and eight others on it with no explanation. There is nothing in common between the people listed until they start to die, one by one.

Peter Swanson is one of my favorite authors and I have read all of his books. Nine Lives was a fantastic read. I downloaded it this morning and my day was consumed with it! I literally didn't put it down until I finished, This was a quick read with many twists. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced copy. I look forward to recommending this book when it's published in the Spring.
