I love all things Hallmark and I'm a sucker for the Christmas movies. So I know I get that when reading this book.

It was such a sweet read. I loved the characters, the storyline and who doesn't love the feel you got with it being Christmas

Being a fan of soft, sappy and happy ending Hallmark Christmas movies, this book was the perfect companion during my late night sitting. The small town community support, the girl who loves Christmas and the enemy turned lover hero, all has been packed perfectly in this delightful read. Clark Creek, a town ready to file bankruptcy, hires a Christmas Consultant to improve their business and Mary, the consultant, works her Christmas magic on the townfolks to bring about a happy hallmark crafted ending.

Go for it as the world needs the love and just maybe, what we are missing is keeping the Christmas spirit alive throughout the year

On Christmas Avenue was a truly Hallmark Christmas experience. The story is set in the small town of Clark Creek. The town needs more tourists and others to visit in order to keep going, so the town council decides to hire a Christmas Consultant, who proposes a town Christmas Parade. Evan, the county sheriff and son of the mayor, it totally against this activity that will bring in traffic and cause all kinds of issues as far as he is concerned. Mary, the consultant, is sure that a parade will be a fantastic fundraiser and bring lots of people to town. She has the answers for every concern and everyone except Evan supports the parade. As Evan and Mary are forced together over and over, they begin to have feelings for one another.

I enjoyed this Christmas story and just escaped into the Christmas spirit. This was an enemies to lovers trope which is common in Hallmark stories. I loved all the support that small towns and communities give to this type of event. Of course there has to be a roadblock of some sort and this one was a bit telegraphed, but I loved the way it was solved. The Christmas activities, family chemistry, and fun parade and activities that went with it, makes this the perfect book for a bit of Christmas magic. I did a read listen with this one and enjoyed both. I can now not wait for a movie to watch

This is the first book I have read from this author and Hallmark Publishing I am a sucker for the Hallmark Christmas movies so I was excited when I saw the Hallmark Christmas books.

This is a cute story that you expect from a Hallmark Christmas movie in book form!

Small town needing saved, a Grinch needing some holiday cheer (I relate to all Grinch like people). Christmas parade, the town people coming together to help out, not everything goes smoothly, like the t-shirt fumble but hey just need a clever idea to make it work! If you are a fan of the Christmas movies Hallmark brings every year then you will enjoy this story. If your not a fan of them then this book may not be for you.

The author gave us just the right amount of romance, and low level tension/angst and lots of Christmas joy in this story. I look forward to reading more from her!!

Thank you NetGalley and Hallmark Publishing for the arc.

Mary was the embodiment of positive vibes. Her love for the Christmas spirit really came through and I found myself scrolling on Amazon for Christmas decorations. I mean this lady is contagious and leaves everyone, even our skeptic Marcus, believing that they could pull off the parade. My only gripe is that by the end of the week Marcus has proposed and Mary was able to overcome detachment issues

Classic Hallmark.

This story had all of the drama, feelings, and moments a good Hallmark movie/book should have! I mean, I teared up at the end because it was just too darn sweet! Add the fact that it is a Christmas Hallmark book…YOU HAVE TO READ THIS. I love the family aspect brought into this novel, and Evan’s brothers were so much fun to get to know! This is a totally sweet, clean romance that will have you smiling ear to ear!

Mary is a free-spirit hoping to land a big promotion that will relocate her to Seattle. Taking on the biggest challenge in her career, she spends Christmas time in Clark Creek, a small town that is going absolutely bankrupt. The entire town loves her Christmas-themed idea to raise money and boost tourism…well, all but Sheriff Evan. He thinks it’s a risky idea with too much potential to flop! Will Mary convince Evan that her parade will work wonders for the town, or will Evan be proven right?

Mary has come to Clark Creek to save the town. She is a professional Christmas Consultant and she has planned a parade and fundraiser to dig the town out of its financial hole. The sheriff of Clark Creek isn't so sure. Evan is sure that the parade is going to completely bankrupt the town instead of saving it. Can Mary and Evan work together to save the town?

This book was so much fun! It was just a truly feel-good book where you know everything is going to be okay. There wasn't anything too deep or too worrying. It was great. I loved the characters and their quirks. I loved watching the relationships grow. I'm just loving the Hallmark Publishing books!

It should not come as a surprise that I’m a big fan of Hallmark Christmas movies and that is what drew me to this book. This was my first Hallmark Publishing book that I have read so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I really wanted it to give me the same feelings that I get from watching the movies and I was not disappointed. This book definitely delivered on the warm and cozy holiday vibes which is exactly what I needed! I actually really enjoyed this type of story in book format, you get more insight into the characters and the story. And the main characters...loved them! Sometimes in a romance I there’s one character I like a little less than the other but not the case here. Evan is the town sheriff and was great as a romantic interest. Mary is the Christmas consultant that he has to work with and I found her great too. The plot of the story was actually really engaging too. It wasn’t all romantic Christmas fluff, I actually found myself really interested in what would happen with the town and the parade and how it would all work out. So, overall if you are looking for a Christmas romance then I would definitely recommend picking this one up. I look forward to picking up more Hallmark books and looking into the authors other books.

On Christmas Avenue is a delightful, enjoyable and unique read from Ginny Baird through Hallmark Publishing. This is not your average Christmas tale, but you will find yourself lost in the season and scenery of this struggling town of Clark Creek. The characters feel like old friends, and their dire straits will tug at emotions. Main characters Mary and Evan are life-like and likeable. I so hope to see continuation in the series with the town and especially Evan's brothers. As always, the bonus recipe included is a fun extra.

I received a complimentary copy of the book without obligation. This review is my opinion.

Who doesn’t love a parade? And when it’s meant to save a small town, it’s even better!
Mary is a Christmas consultant who likes to move around with her job. She is hired to make money for the town. Evan is the sheriff of Clark Creek. He is skeptical that Mary can pull off this parade and save the town.
The book has major Hallmark Movie Channel vibes. Pour yourself a cup of hot cocoa and grab some cookies. This book will get you in the Christmas spirit!
I want to thank Ginny Baird, Hallmark Publishing and Netgalley for a complimentary copy of the book. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

On Christmas Avenue is a fun Christmas rom com. The small town of Clark Creek is struggling financially and all of the businesses are hurting. The Mayor of the town hires a Christmas Consultant to help the town. Mary, the Consultant proposes a holiday parade to bring in outsiders to the town to shop for Christmas, The Mayor assigns the County Sheriff to be Mary's contact to coordinate the event. At the first meeting with the Sheriff, Mary learns that he is not in favor of her ideas. He feels that the crowd of people coming in for the parade will overwhelm his small staff and he is afraid that the event could result in a loss to the town. Mary and Evan work together to plan the parade and she tries hard to overcome his objections. Both Mary and Evan felt an immediate attraction which grows over the time that they are together. Maybe they can pull off a Christmas Christmas miracle after all. I recommend this book.

The perfect story to read over a cup of coffee in a cozy corner this December
.
The town of Clark Creek is in financial trouble and its positive mayor decides to hire a Christmas consultant to help bring the Christmas spirit back. But Mary Ward not only plans to bring the Christmas spirit but the most wonderful Christmas parade that has ever been around and so she can raise money to save the town and make it attractive but for her plans to work so she can also gain promotion to Seattle, she must convince the grumpy and pessimistic sheriff that does not believe that with lights and Christmas canes she can acomplish something
.
With this book, Ginny Baird opens the door to a group of endearing characters and her beautiful little town, the most cute heart warming romance and without a doubt I want to continue reading more about these characters
.
Thanks to Ginny Baird and Hallmark Publishing for give me this great book in exchange for my honest opinion

On Christmas Avenue by Ginny Baird is a book of two people who have different opinions. Not exactly an enemy to love story but more of a clash pf perspectives. It is an entertaining tale where the Sheriff and the event planner do not agree on how to raise money for a small in debt town. This is how small town life is where I live, people love to live here but usually spend their money in nearby bigger towns. It has the romance, the Christmas Season and the plight of small town America all rolled into one Hallmark kind of read.

A fun sweet family and community intense read that fans of Debbie Macomber and Robyn Carr will enjoy too.

An ARC of the book was given to me by the publisher through Net Galley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A relaxing Christmas read
New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Ginny Baird presents "On Christmas Avenue. A Christmas Romance from Hallmark Publishing"
Mary Ward works for Davenport Development Associates and is hired by Connie Clark, the mayor of Clark Creek (Virginia) to create a Christmas Fundraiser which she proposes in the form of a Christmas parade. Mary feels that she is going to love being in Clark Creek although she knows that she could get a promotion as Seattle program manager if she accomplishes this assignment successfully. It would be so simple if there would not be Evan Clark, the Clark County sheriff and son of the mayor and the issue with the T-shirts. Will Mary succeed with all her plans in spite of Evan or what will be the outcome?
This was the second book by Baird which I read. I highly can recommend the story for readers who want a funny, easy, and relaxing read with real, believable, and nice characters. I recommend it for readers who prefer a clean story. Furthermore, as other books by Hallmark Publishing, this book contains the recipe for Homemade Turkey Stuffing as an additional treat.
The complimentary copy of this book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley free of charge. I was under no obligation to offer a positive review. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

A fun and lighthearted holiday romance. Mary is a Christmas Consultant hired to bring a small town out of dire financial straits. Evan is the Sheriff with doubts regarding a parade being the town's salvation.

Her great ideas bring many supporters, donations, and sponsorship which surprise the Sheriff. He begins to see the parade could be a success, until a mistake causes issues for all.

A fun and quick read to start the holiday season. Enjoy it, I know I did!

I received a free ARC eBook from Net Galley and the publisher in exchange for my honest opinions.

A Christmas parade is the perfect way to bring a struggling community together and who better to pull it all off than a Christmas Consultant. This book was a great choice to help start my holiday reading. Love, family, friends, and community all wrapped up in this jolly tale that left me with a smile.

This book has two of my favorite things in it, Christmas and small towns. I would love to take a trip to Clark Creek and hang out with the wonderful folks who live there. I enjoyed both the storyline and the characters. How much fun would it be to be a Christmas Consultant? That’s one job I would love. If you enjoy Christmas stories, I think you will enjoy this one. I received this book from NetGalley, but my opinion is my own.
