I really enjoyed reading a bunch of books for babies while pregnant. This was adorable and I loo forward to seeing it in stores.

Thank you NetGalley for this eARC. My 2 kids picked it to read and we loved it. My son is in 2nd grade and thought he learned so much. My kindergartner thought the same but also loved the illustrations!

This was an interesting book and lead me to do further research about these types of homes around the world! I think kids will find this book really interesting.

However, I found it a bit confusing that alongside traditional and commonplace houses around the world that they also included a circus tent in this list. Circuses are not a common place for children to live and there are ethical issues with having children work doing stunts in circuses. Just seemed like it didn't quite fit.

How Kids Live Around the World introduces children to where other children live. A child presents each individual style of shelter. Information is well presented in both words and illustrations.

My children and I loved this book. There are nice, colorful illustrations to keep the little ones’ attention. Each dwelling examined is shown and a child living there explains how it’s built, how the family uses tools, electricity, water, and how they obtain food. My seven-year-old loved learning about different cultures from around the world and how children his age live and spend time in other parts of the world. We really enjoyed exploring via this book; it would be perfect for kids through elementary school age at home and in the classroom.

**Thank you to the authors, illustrator, B4U Publishing for Albatros, Albatros Media Group, and NetGalley for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review**

Thanks to Netgalley and Albatros Media for a free digital copy.

A bright and colorful look at what homes look like all over the world! I loved how each home had something special and unique that was pointed out.

This is an interesting book that shows how children live around the world. For each type of abode the book describes 10 features about how it works and various cultural facts. While I think it's information-packed and a good resource for learning, I found the numbering of the features a little hard to follow. The pictures were cute, but some objects were difficult to recognize due to the style of the art. Ex. the Quilliq on page 6 as a source of light and for cooking - it didn't look much like a fire in the picture. I think this book could be improved with larger, more detailed art and information boxes located closer to the objects that they describe.

This was an informative book adequate for young readers and gives good descriptions of different homes kids live in. The only thing I noticed needs improvement is that it doesn't have real photos. It would be nice to see actual pictures.

This is a really beautiful book that shows how kids live around the world. From skyscrapers to Navajo hogans to a Moroccan riad, this book travels around the world showing a glimpse of how people live.

Each page contains a brief introduction along with drawing of a type of dwelling, with 10 different features numbered and detailed around the margins. For example, the riad highlights tea, lemon teas, the Koran, and small windows as some of the features it highlights.

This isn't really a narrative-based book so much as pages that provide opportunities for discussion and investigation by kids and parents. It would be a great supplement for learners or just having discussions about the diversity of spaces in which people live around the world.

I truly hope this book is better as a hard copy since as an ebook it was impossible to follow. The illustrations look cute, but it didn’t appear to really be a children’s book, but maybe a sort of study guide. There are sections of narratives apparently meant for a teacher/parent to use in order to explain the differences of international housing, but the organization of the book was scattershot. Numbers appear randomly on pages (I thought at first they were page numbers, but as I continued they made no sense). This is obviously a translation to English and much is lost. I would not be able to use this at all. One star for the cute pictures.

Colorful, detailed, and fascinating guide to types of dwellings around the world. From caves to skyscrapers to houseboats, a huge variety is covered in nice detail. Kids' imaginations will be inspired by all of the different ways of life for other children around the world and I can see inspiration for many fun conversations.

Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review!
