April May Fall was an okay read. April has gone through a lot after her divorce with kids to raise she's trying to do the best that she can. 3 🌟 🌟🌟 read
Happy Reading Lisa 📚

Loved, Loved, Loved this book
I loved April, Jack, her family and friends. They were crazy and butted into each other’s lives, but they supported each other. April’s relationship with her kids was real, they weren’t perfect and she wasn’t always a perfect mom. After a live stream video where she and her kids were definitely not perfect, she wanted to pull back and only do pre-recorded videos but Jack, who works for the company working with her brand knew that wasn’t the best idea so he came to help her gain back her confidence. He fell in love with April and her kids and taught her that just because something isn’t perfect or broken, it can be put back together even stronger. This book had all the feels and showed the reader some amazing humans who are flawed, yet good people. I always love a novel by Christina Hovland.

April May Fall by C. Hovland, published by Entangled Publishing LLC, is the first book in the Mommy W Series.
April Davis is a divorced mother of three, yoga instructor and influencer who just signed a big contract. And just so her first live segment is a, lets call it kindly a disaster. She needs help like yesterday and Jack is just the man for the job. He's not only her boss, he's the company's fixer n general and he's determined to fix her reputation. Easier said then done.
I read the blurb and was intrigued, I just had to read this book with all its wittiness and fun. What I got was a slow burn with some lengths that had me just so wanting to give up. But Jack, oh Jack, I couldn't do That to you.
Al in all, April, May, Fall is an ok read, a sweet romance with great sidecharacters - aka the kids - I simply adored all three of them -Ribbit.

What a crazy life April has since her divorce. The kids are precocious and funny. Jack enters the picture to fix it, and boy does he fix it. Lots of colorful characters. I received this Advanced Reader’s Copy for an honest review.

April is a divorced mother of three who’s trying to keep it all together while building a career as an influencer. Jack is her agent trying to capitalize on opportunities to expand her brand and help her get past a viral live-broadcast snafu.
Though this book has elements of romance, it feels more like light women’s fiction. I enjoy the way the April gains confidence throughout the story and achieves sense of peace with her life, her family and herself. Jack is a lovely, yet incidental, addition. I think if the chemistry between them was cranked up a notch, the romance would be more compelling. That said, the chemistry between him and her kids is perfect. And Harmony, the unrealistic 8 year old, is my favorite of the bunch.
This is a good choice of book to entertain as we wind down the final weeks of summer. It’s a quick read and will leave you smiling.
This book was furnished to me by Netgalley so I could provide an honest review.

“Who do you want to prove it to?” Jack asked again. “Me.”

The story of April, a single mom that just went through a “burnout” and is trying to find herself again, was not only very realistic but also funny.
Every important character had a detailed history and personality that had their own uniqued influence on April’s character development.
Every-time Kitty was mentioned, I just had to smile because she was so funny and unaware but in a hilarious way.
The kids Harmony and Rohan were also very well written. I thought that both of them showed relatable signs of having witnessed a divorce and I loved how they built a relationship with Jack throughout the book.
The character development that April went through was amazing. I loved how I was able to follow her journey from being an insecure woman with trust issues to becoming a confident and independent woman.
Jack’s relationship with her also went through ups and down from being her “confidence coach” to a love interest.
Overall, the plot was very structured. It consisted of the classic breakdown, built up, plot-twist and then ending. I thought the beginning was the best part because every character was introduced in a very informative but not overwhelming way.
I also enjoyed the third person limited omniscient perspective. I’m usually not the biggest fan of this style but I actually found it nice in this book since it was understandable and not confusing.
The plot also wasn’t too fast or too slow. The plot-twist happened at the right time and the ending wasn’t rushed.
I recommend this book to anyone that loves a cute romance story with the involvement of very realistic problems. I will be buying this book when it’s released in paperback.

April has made a name for herself on social media as the “Calm Mom,” but ever since her divorce she’s been struggling to feel calm. After a video of her having a breakdown while shopping with her three kids goes viral, her manager, Jack, steps in to help her clean up the mess. Jack ends up helping her with more than just her social media image.
This dual perspective romance is so cute and real. April struggles with things all moms struggle with and she’s had to do it alone since her husband left. Thank goodness she has a group of girlfriends to help! Her business relationship with Jack is great and their romantic relationship is caring and kind. It’s nice to see him support her work as her manager, but also as her friend.

A cute story of a influencer mom who goes viral tries to keep her calm and find love. Great cute story enjoyed it.

April Davis is the Calm Mom—a social influencer with a reputation for showing moms how to stay calm and collected through yoga—but behind the scenes, she’s barely holding it all together. Then a live video of the “always calm” April goes viral...and Jack Gibson was sent to help clean up April’s viral mess, But the sparks flying between her and Jack have her completely out of her depth.
The kids are interesting in this book actually. I like them quite a bit. April and Jack are both good characters and it was nice how they come together. I haven't read the other books in the series but I have no problems following the book. A fun rom-com.

This book was definitely sweet. I loved how the children were written, especially Harmony. However, I didn’t sense any connection between April and Jack. Their relationship felt super forced to me and I didn’t fall in love with them. I wish it had been more developed.

April's brand is the Calm Mom, but after a live stream goes wrong, Jack is bought in to try and fix her reputation.
April and Jack are seemingly opposites, who start to attract, especially when he ends up moving in to her spare room.
What will happen when it is time for them both to return to real life?
Looking forward to the rest of this series!
