April May Fall was an enjoyable read. I liked April a lot and loved Jack. This was a fun romcom and a well-done single mom trope. I definitely recommend this one.

A quick easy read! I love books where “I’m never having kids” guys fall in love with the right kids and boom, life changed. Also generally I like these books because they seem pretty honest about motherhood (chapter quotes included!).

A very nice story. I really went into this novel thinking it was a simple read to take my mind off things. It didn't fail. The book did its job perfectly. I really liked the characters. They were very engaging. The story itself has little action as well as funny moments.
I really recommend this read.

Another fantastic book from Christina! She brings real life to her characters and shows that it can be messy but also beautiful. Love this book!

This book is the 3rd in a series, but I didn't realize that until I was finished. While it is part of a series, it is a standalone novel. You do not have to read the previous books to understand what's going on at all.

The characters were fun and well developed. It had me laughing out loud at times.

I look forward to reading the other books in the series.

This book was such a cute, fun, and realistic read. I say realistic because come on parenting is hard and sometimes we may not feel as if we have it all together or doing the right thing for our kids. April becomes internet famous and Jack works to help her with her brand but what he ends up doing to helping her everyday crazy life. He balances out April and he is the best part of the story because he is the perfect gentleman that has this calmness about him that April craves. these two form a bond and feelings get involved can things work out for them or are things too much? April was cute and fun at times her friends where seriously over the top and Jack like I said was perfection especially for April.

Entangled publishing has yet to do me wrong. I love everything I have ever read from this publishing house and know that I will for many books to comes. This is a light comedic romance that reminds us all that no matter where we are in our lives we deserve love and have time for it even if we are busy moms.

Pick this one up if you…
🧺 have ever mixed alcohol and juice boxes
🧺 speak frog 🐸
🧺 have multiple baskets of laundry to put away

April Davis totally has her life in order. Ha! Not really. Yes, she’s the Calm Mom—a social influencer with a reputation for showing moms how to stay calm and collected through yoga—but behind the scenes, she’s barely holding it all together. Raising tiny humans alone is exhausting, but that’s just the chewed-up cherry on the melted sundae of her life. Her kids aren’t behaving, her husband left her for his skydiving instructor, and her top knot proves she hasn’t showered in days.

Then a live video of the “always calm” April goes viral...and she’s most definitely not. Enter Jack Gibson, April’s contact at the media conglomerate that has purchased April’s brand. The too-sexy-for-his-own-good Jack will help clean up April’s viral mess, and even work with her to expand her influence, but toddler tea parties and a dog with a penchant for peeing on his shoes were definitely not part of the deal.

💭 Great rom-com for all you mamas out there! April is a struggling single mom trying to make it as an influencer. So many relatable moments here! We all want to come off as super mom, when really nobody is. April is adorable, hilarious, and just real life! I loved how the author showed motherhood - all of the picture perfect insta-worthy moments…. And the amazing crazy moments. I loved her circle of friends and how well they supported her because every mom needs that! I loved Jack. He drank crayon water, just trust me when I say he is your next book boyfriend.

Add to your TBR - you will love this charming read! Thank you Entangled and Netgalley for this eARC!

Calm Mom she is anything but.
April, social influencer and yoga instructor, is the antithesis of calm. She is dealing with a whirlwind of neverending laundry, wrangling 3 young busy (read: bratty) kids, an absent jerk (read: flaky sleazy douchebag) ex-husband, and an old lazy dog all while trying to portray the perfect calm mom online. Luckily she has a good girlfriend support group which includes a stable sensible couple next door and an eccentric attentive (read: crazy annoying busy body that means well) neighbor across the street to help her out.
When a real mom meltdown in a grocery store goes very viral, her image, rep, and brand have taken a nosedive. Her manager sends a fixer her way to smooth things over - the very handsome Jack Gibson from L.A.
Let the journey full of allergies to food, cats, live streams, and love begin.

**My thanks to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing LLC for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

This is the third book in the series and it does not disappoint and we even get to see a little of some of the other characters in the other books too.

April is a single mother whose husband left her after a mid life crisis and she is still picking up the pieces while looking after her three kids, the house and her career.

As a MyTube creator, she has a platform where she teaches calm mummies and yoga, however on a live episode, things take a wrong turn. Her friend Rachels brother is her manager and he ends up flying in to do damage control and things soon heat up with the chemistry between them.

Jack has never really been in a relationship and at first things happen slowly, until he finds that actually he is in love with April, but she only sees him as temporary. It is his job to fix things and he does this very well with all his clients and knows that April just needs her confidence back, and he certainly manages to let her find it again.

I really enjoyed this book and cannot wait to see how the last book in the series ends.

The book started out strong but then got a little boring towards the end. I found it to be repetitive and contrived.

April’s life is in chaos. Especially after a video of her latest mommy disaster goes viral. She’s gotta do something to repair the damage to her reputation. Thankfully her manager has a plan to help her fix her online and personal reputation before she appears on a big talk show. Everything goes according to plan… except catching feelings. April’s not sure what to think especially since she’s still reeling from her divorce and her manager will be leaving soon after she’s back on track.

The characters were definitely fun and well developed. I like how we got an little insight into April’s whole group of friends instead of the status quo in books which sticks to just a best friend. It was a nice surprise. I felt like the plot did this story and character justice in a way where I could really see April’s growth from start to middle to finish. And what a transformation it was. April is a character I think everyone can relate to at times when your life feels out of control and there’s nothing you can do to change it. The pace of this book is where it lost a star. There were times when I felt like it was going too slow or too fast and there was no middle ground. Overall I absolutely loved and adore this book and characters.

An enjoyable story featuring yoga guru April whose internet meltdown goes viral, requiring the physical presence of her social influencer team manager. Jack is the perfect man, confident, supportive, sexy and good with her kids but April is not ready to put her trust in a man again, though her kooky friends don’t agree. A great read.

Christina Hovland has nailed the stresses and anxieties or motherhood to a T!! I don't know a mom who wouldn't relate to this book. I am looking forward to continuing this series as well as going back to read the first book. It didn't seem like you needed to read this series in order so that's a plus.

April is a a social influencer that focuses on yoga and calmness - ok, I know you are wondering how the hell this is relatable to most moms but roll with me. While she is trying to fake it for her followers her life is falling apart. Her husband came out as a dirty cheater and left her with 3 tiny terrors, I mean children. During this stressful time, a video of her losing her crap goes viral! Yay, gotta love mom-shaming. In swoops Jack, who is sent by her branding company to clean this mess up. HAHAHA!! Oh sweet man, if only he knew what he was getting into.

You can only imagine the hilarity that ensues while April is trying to find herself and learn to stand on her own two feet. As if raising three kids during a breakdown and trying to save your brand with a hunk isn't enough, there's a group of friends that includes a unique character named Kitty. If you don't imagine her as Kristin Chenoweth, we can't be friends.

I took my time reading this book just because it was so relatable as a mother. I wanted to hold these people in my life forever. We all may fall, but we will always get back up again.

Really enjoyed this story. Flowed well and had me hooked in reading it. The first book from this author. Will find more books from them.

To say I was really disappointed after finishing this book is an understatement. I had high expectations for this book. I loved reading the first book in the series, so I was kinda hype to read the second book. But I was just left disappointed. The romance between April and Jack was zero. I could not understand the attraction between them. There was zero chemistry between April and Jack. It was more about April trying to figure out her life after a messy divorce which took 90% of the book.

Cute, enjoyable read by a new to me author. The kids and their interactions with Jack totally made the book for me. Looking forward to seeing what else this author has written!
