After stumbling upon Ashley Craft's The Unofficial Disney Parks Cookbook, I just HAD to get The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe book that followed! I am beyond glad I did. This recipe book is organized by mocktails, cocktails, dessert drinks, and more. This makes it very easy to find which recipe you are looking for. It also states where the drink can be found in Disney. Ashley Craft did a phenomenal job recreating some of the most desired Disney drinks. The drinks are not only delicious, but brings a little piece of Disney into your home! I have tried seven of the recipes so far and absolutely loved each one. So far I've made the Cotton Candy Lemonade, Canadian Apple Slushy, Diving Bell, Popping Yuzu Lemonade, Brooklyn Blackout, Ice Cream Martini, and LeFou's Brew. I will definitely make these again and can't wait to try out more!

The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book by Ashely Craft is a perfect companion to her previous book, The Unofficial Disney Parks Cookbook. If you love all things Disney and want to reminisce with a favourite drink from one of the many eateries from Disney Parks, this is the book for you. There are lots of fun and exciting drinks to try that will please just about everyone.

Many of the drink recipes in the book are quite easy to create and usually just involve obtaining some simple syrups to flavour the drinks. There are also quite a few dessert drinks that look really stunning and decadent. If you are planning a get-together or having a themed party, this book would really give some great ideas.

❀ SIMPLE AND EASY TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS

As an introduction to the book, Ashely gives a lot of history and background for many of the drinks and the various Disney parks. Also, the list of supplies and tools is handy if you are planning to make any of the drinks found throughout the book. While the layout is quite simple and the directions are easy to follow, the images are far and few between. I would have loved to have more visuals for the recipes, especially the more complicated desserts. That being said, I am excited to try the Dole Whip Float and the Black Forest Milkshake.

As an avid Disney fan, I was really excited about this book. Whether you're looking for a way to reconnect with Disney memories or just a way to bring some magic to your event, the recipes in this book are utterly charming, and easy to follow.

After an intro on the history of Disney drinks and covering Mixologists Essentials (tools and syrup recipes), the book has tons of recipes for drinks! Chapters are Lemonades & Fruity Drinks; Slushes; Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate, and Cider; Mocktails; Cocktails; and Dessert Drinks.
The book does specify that these are drinks from the US-based parks. I love that each recipe tells the restaurant or vendor and the park where it came from, and many have an explanation paragraph header. There are color photos throughout the book, but not of every drink, and some recipes have suggestions for alternative ingredients.
This is a fantastic book for Disney park addicts, Disney fans, and those looking for fun and interesting drinks.

I was so excited for this book. I will definitely be buying the print version for my coffee table. Our family absolutely loves all things Disney, and these drinks are amazing. It is great to be able to recreate some of our favorite drinks from the park. I received this copy in exchange for an honest review.

Ashley Craft’s The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book is a great cookbook that will bring the magic of the American Disney parks to your kitchen! I love the unique and exciting drink recipes but I would have liked much more pictures and a fun layout to suit the book’s theme.

The book is divided into two parts. Part One gives a brief and fascinating overview of the history of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at the Disney parks. There is also a helpful guide on the essential mixologist tools that you will need to make the drinks in this book. Part One also includes a great section on creating homemade syrups from scratch. There are the usual suspects like Simple Syrup but Craft also includes recipes for Hibiscus Grenadine, Orgeat (an almond based syrup), and Hibiscus Salt!

Part Two is divided into chapters on Lemonades and Fruity Drinks; Slushes; Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate, and Cider; Mocktails; Cocktails; and Dessert Drinks. There are seasonal favourites that the entire family can enjoy like Winter Hot Chocolate, Minnie Witch Shake (a magical candy filled milkshake with mint chocolate chip ice cream!), and Pumpkin Spice Milkshake. Adult cocktail enthusiasts can enjoy fun concoctions like the potent two rum HippopotoMai-Tai, Grapefruit Cake Martini, and La Cava Avocado which actually contains avocado! There are many mocktails like the classic New Orleans Mint Julep, the funky fruity Hyperdrive (Punch It!), and the milk drink Blue Bantha which comes with a coconut caramel cookie! Indulge yourself with Popping Yuzu Lemonade, LeFou’s Brew or a Frozen Apple Pie!

There are several bright full-colour pictures of the drinks. I like the appropriate props and colour schemes. However, there are barely any pictures! Moreover, I wish the layout was more fun to really reinforce the magic of Disney. The recipes would have been nicely elevated by a more interesting and vibrant design.

The recipes are clear and easy-to-follow. Craft’s writing style is concise, approachable, and friendly. She begins many of the recipes with a little fun fact about the drink’s history or location or a certain standout flavour in the drink. I like that the book features a range of both easy and more complicated drinks. But, all the recipes are approachable for all levels of mixologists. Many of the ingredients are fairly accessible and moderately inexpensive. But, there are several specialty items like popping pearls, whipped cream vodka, and desert pear syrup. However, a lot of the recipes are flexible and feature helpful tips for ingredient swaps.

The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book is a fun cookbook that will be a wonderful addition to any collection!

Are you a Disney person? While I am not a hard-core Disney fan, I enjoy their movies, shows, and treats! There is something super cool about character/movie inspired drinks and food items. So this book totally caught my eye! I have never actually been to Disney World, but I have seen pictures of some amazing looking drinks and food!
This cookbook is separated into categories of drinks: Lemonades & Fruity Drinks, Slushes, Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate, & Cider, Cocktails, Mocktails, and Dessert Drinks. Each section has a few color pictures that look really good! They make the drinks look so cool! Beware, yours may not look quite as nice! We tried about four drinks from different sections, and though they tasted good, they weren’t quite the level of artistry that these drinks would be at the parks!
It was cool to also read about some of the story or inspiration behind each drink. Each recipe has a brief intro, which were fun to read! We were not able to really try any cocktails (we are all underage), but we tried one from most of the other categories. Most of these recipes had things that we didn’t normally own, so we usually had to buy ingredients. There were also some recipes that would benefit from different kitchen appliances, like a blender or ice-cream machine. Many recipes can also be made simpler if you don’t mind it not looking exactly like the park drink, such as not having all the colors or toppings. But going all out definitely creates a fun drink!
I would recommend this to any Disney fans and those who enjoy making fun and unique drinks!

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the publisher through Netgalley. All views expressed are only my honest opinion, a positive review was not required.

I recently began booking my first ever Disney trip and reading The Unofficial Disney Parks Drinks Recipe Book has really helped in hyping me up for my planning! When I first saw this book I didn’t realize that it was strictly about Disney park drinks, but it did not disappoint.

The Unofficial Disney Parks Drinks Recipe book has a similar set up as most recipe books. It begins with a little introduction and includes a rather extensive list of the tools and techniques that will be used to recreate many of the recipes. After that, it jumps straight into the recipes. Some of which were complicated, some that were simple and a bunch that were in between! One thing that I thought was perfect about the book was how Craft made sure to include the park and location where each drink can be found. She even included maps at the end of the book. This made the book feel like, not only a recipe book, but a guide that could be used to help taste test the real thing!

There was a huge selection of recipes and too many that looked amazing! I’m particularly excited for all of the Star Wars themed drinks. There were both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks included, though the alcoholic section was smaller than I was expecting. Especially with what I’ve heard about Epcot being such a great place to grab a cocktail. I would love to see Craft write a similar book for the Universal parks. Mainly so I can get an idea of what to drink when we get to Harry Potter world!

First I want to say that this book completely delivers on what it promises. This book is packed with recipes you can replicate at home of your favourite Disney drinks.

Many of the recipes are pretty simple, though they call for certain ingredients which might require a bit of prep work or a bit of a hunt to track down. However, in a lot of ways the reward are some sweet, fun, and unique drinks that you’ve probably never thought to try making at home.

The book is divided into drink types which makes it quite easy to navigate, and hosts recipes that range from simple juices, to complex dessert drinks which most certainly feature some sort of added treat. There are also really nice pictures throughout the book, while I wish there were more, the ones that were there definitely leave me thirsty.

As a whole, this is the perfect book for hardcore Disney fans, those hosting Disney style events, or people who just want some new drink recipes (alcoholic and non-alcoholic alike). This is a fairly simple cookbook, but it delivers what is promised, so for those wanting replicated Disney drinks, this book will not disappoint.

Special thanks to the publishers and netgalley for a virtual arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is another fantastic Disney recipe book! I love that I can enjoy the spirit of Disney at home.
One downside of the book is that I don't find the e-book user friendly. It could be organized a little better.
I've already made one recipe and plan to make many more!

What a fun book this was to both read and use!! I loved taking a walk through the chapters and remembering past trips and treats we enjoyed. I made about 1/2 of the recipes listed and have taken notes on how to make others in the future. My nephews especially loved the Night Blossom slushy and the various milkshakes. It was also really fun that Ashley added a map and information about where to find the treats at the different parks. Each recipe was easy to follow and very delicious. There were even suggestions about how to make things easier or more tasty depending on your preferences. I certainly recommend this book and look forward to adding a copy of it to my cookbook shelf. Thank you for this wonderful book!!

A beautifully created cookbook! I love visiting Disney world, and drinking around the world was one of the highlights of my trip! Having recipes that I can easily make myself is a fun way to reminisce my vacation. I enjoyed the organization of the cookbook, mocktails, slushes, hot cocoa/tea, fruity, etc. There were a lot of fun variations on Mojito, there seemed to be a recipes for any person's tastes. My favorite drinks were the Habibi daquiri and Paradise punch. I wish there were more visuals and images of the drinks. Overall highly recommend this for your Disney or cocktail enthusiasts!
