What a fun book! Definitely one will pull off a bookstore shelf to look through and of course after seeing all the temptations, will purchase! Mary Poppins could have provided the blurb, “just a spoonful of sugar” as most of these beverages are sweet - but don’t we all deserve a little treat now and then?
Those who love all things Disney will be sure to add this to their collection.
Also is overflowing with creative mocktail recipes!
As someone who loves to cook and create memorable beverages the apple cider recipes and beverages for dessert will be first on my list to try! Happy Sipping!

Ashley Craft, author of The Unofficial Disney Parks Cookbook has worked her magic again with The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book. Now you can curl up in a comfortable chair and transport yourself to all things Disney with the taste of the drink in your hand.

The first part is a history of “Drinking around Disney World” Did you know that Walt Disney did not want alcohol served in his park and that ban held for 64 years until alcoholic drinks were first served in Epcot? This section also lists the essential equipment you’ll need for these recipes and tells how to concoct an assortment of simple syrups.

Then come the drink recipes. Accompanied by gorgeous, mouth-watering photographs, they are organized by park sections and drink categories. You’ll find lemonades, slushes, mocktails and cocktails, coffee drinks and more. My favorites are Cotton Candy Lemonade, Elf Nog, Diving Bell (with Mickey ears made of lemon slices) but one drink stands out. Perfect for children of all ages, My Bugs! My Bugs! Is garnished with gummy worms which appear to be crawling out of the electric coral drink!

Recipes from other Disney Parks are included: Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom and California Adventure. There are maps showing where the individual drinks are served The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book is just delicious. Grab a glass and enjoy! 5 stars.

Thank you to NetGalley, Adams Media and Ashley Craft for this ARC.

I love the parks and I love all of these drinks! We really enjoyed the Jedi Mind Trick and plan on trying it again to celebrate the official start of the NFL season. I really appreciate the work Craft put into her craft.

Thank you to NetGalley and Adams Media for this advanced copy which I received in return for an advanced copy

This was a cute cookbook. I honestly believe holding a physical cookbook is different than digital as the pages aren't as seemless but that would be my only complaint.

I made Black Spire Hot Chocolate and Dagobah Slug Slinger (my husband is a huge Star Wars fan) and both were delicious! We don't know when we will be able to experience Star Wars at a Disney park so it was cool to have that at home!

There were a lot of frozen, sweet drinks which I know Disney is known for. I looked at the pictures but wasn't interested in making them. I liked the idea of the adult cocktails but they were super complex and I didn't want to make all the extra syrups. If you love mixology this is the book for you!

Ashley Craft has done it again! Having loved The Unofficial Disney Parks Cookbook, the Drink Recipe Book was number one on my reading list. It did not disappoint.

Once again, I was drawn to the Parks history Craft added to the beginning of the book and the park maps made me long to book another trip. Any Disney fan looking to add that little bit of at-home pixie dust will want this book. The photographs are gorgeous--they look just like the "real" thing from any Disney restaurant.

There's a variety of choices here, ranging from alcohol free (including the popular Le Fou's Brew and Blue Milk) to adult cocktails, and hot beverages and dessert drinks (think all those yummy milkshakes!), and though some of the ingredients will be tricky to get, I'm excited to try them all.

Thank you so much to Abrams Media for providing a copy of this ARC for review. It was as magical as its predecessor!

First of all: Thank you to Netgalley for providing me the ARC in exchange for an honest review!

The book has lots and lots of drinks, dessert drinks, mocktails, cocktails, slushies and more. I tried some and they were great, though some of them had ingredients that aren't easy to find. But the recipes were simple and the small blurb at the beginning of each was a nice touch. Another sweet factor was the introduction to the history of the parks and Disney. The pages were beautifully decorated as well and the photos were clear and pretty, though not as many as I would have liked.

Overall, a nice book with interesting recipes.

It's been many years since I was at Disney, so there are some items here that I never saw at the park. I vividly recall their food and drink. So creative and memorable! I was excited to see this book, which gives fans the chance to have some of those famous recipes. There are a number of recipes included, and it's a very family friendly book. I look forward to trying many of them.

I received The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book as part of a NetGalley giveaway.

Disney parks are famous for their food and drinks--some are delicious, some nostalgic, and some creative (and many a combination of some or all of these!). The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book tackles some favorites from the parks' iconic themed lands, from Adventureland to Galaxy's Edge.

As a huge Disney parks fan, I was excited to win this book. Despite the perception (and reality) of the parks being family-centric, my husband and I have always loved visiting on our own, and the opportunity to try out the resorts' various themed drinks is always fun. Surprisingly, only one chapter is actually devoted to cocktails, with other sections reserved for hot drinks, mocktails, and shakes/dessert drinks, among other things. Obviously, there are ways to "adultify" most of these virgin recipes, but on the whole it's a very accessible and family-friendly. Our next park trip is less than a month away, and this one helped ramp up my excitement for the fun and goodies in store!
