I have loved Morgan Ranch series and now the Miller's. If I have to choose my fav characters it would be Chase and Jonathan, now Jonathan was a blabbermouth but Evan approaches a more honest person who simply cannot keep secrets. Oh he never did anybody any wrong but to be in a relationship with Evan I guess it was the most wonderful thing that could happen to our Josie.

I loved the way the handle issues both big and small, I guess the reason I have these series because everything is handled with the conversation no guessing game and when it could happen you understand the POV of both characters, they may be rich or a middle class person but the situation is resolved by love and respect.

I'll say to the readers to not miss out these series you will appreciate this writing of Romance, there is no damsel in distress just relatable persons and have to courage to open up a little bit in your real life also.

Thanks Kate for another good read!

Well the last Miller turn has come to find love. Evan is the baby boy of the six kids. A little bit of a big mouth, can’t keep a secret and still avoiding Danny his closest brother. He is riding off to the Martinez Ranch to check on Ines, which he doesn’t mind since they raise bulls for the PBR. As he gets there he is admiring the rider on the bucking bulls and is surprised to see it’s a women. Josie is the sister to the famous retired bull rider, Rio Martinez. Bull riding seems to be in their blood, but in real life she was a business exc. in her brother’s multi million company. Taking a break from work and to get herself together after a frightening experience, she is hiding out at the ranch. Meeting Evan, they decided to work on a bucket list.
The story is of personal growth, overcoming fears. All the characters are back, so you really should read the previous books. Laugh out loud in parts, and really don’t want the series to end. I truly enjoyed reading the life of the Miller’s. Each child had different stories and this tied it all together. I hope that there will be one more story…..there is a half sister that is unwed.
Thank you NetGalley for this ARC. I am voluntarily posting an honest review after reading an Advance Reader Copy of this story. #NetGalley #RomancingtheRancher #KatePearce

This is the sixth book in The Millers of Morgan Valley series. Evan Miller is the youngest of the six Miller siblings and the last to get his own story. I am sorry to see this series come to an end, because I have really enjoyed both this series and the Morgan Ranch series. It's been fun to revisit Morgan Valley and the delightful characters that inhabit Morgantown and the valley.

Evan was only six when his mother left their family and while he was probably the least scarred by her departure, it still left an impact on him that he is yet trying to cope with. He is considered the goof-off of the family and the one that can't keep a secret. Enter Josie Martinez; younger sister of Rio Martinez, the world champion bull rider; who is at her brother's ranch to recover from the violent attack of a stalker. Evan and Josie start hanging out with each other and decide to make lists of things they would like to accomplish. As they work through their lists, they discover that while they are each from different backgrounds, they have many things in common that draws them to each other.

This was an enjoyable book and a light, easy read. Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington Books for an advanced copy of this book which I read and voluntarily reviewed. This is my fair and honest review.

One of my favorite series!!! I'm so sad to hear that this is the last book. This was a fantastic story, the couple was so cute. Another great addition to the series. And I loved how the whole thing wrapped up at the end, just couldn't stop smiling why I read it.

I love the Miller’s and now Evan is getting his story. Being the baby in the family can has its advantages but Evan struggles even though he gives the appearance of being the happy go lucky Miller. There is more depth to Evan that most people realize but Josie sees the real Evan and falls for him. The story is well written and very entertaining. I read it in one sitting because I wanted to see what happened next. It is an excellent story with surprises along the way that only adds to the storyline. This is an excellent read and one that I would highly recommend.

The youngest Morgan son finally gets his shot at life. But what life does he want? Josie is working through some past trauma and takes Evan on as her project to have a distraction. The friends to lovers line never gets old for me. Imjace enjoyed this series and while I’m sorry to see it end, I look forward to the next book by Pearce.

This was my first Kate Pearce read and I must say it was something else. Even if it's not my cup of tea, I'm sure this type of book has its audience. I had a feeling of watching a soap opera (or telenovela due to some of the characters having Brazilian heritage) while I read this. Big family, lots of complicated past drama (wives that left, married somebody filthy rich, then came back because their (initial) men have changed, private jets, Vegas weddings, dark secrets from the past... ) but no real character depth. Like none. It all felt really fake and just thrown together for the sake of an overstuffed plot. I gave this three stars because it's not bad, but it doesn't shine either. The sexy times are also kind of meh. Not too hot but not fade to dark either.

I have loved this series but I think I saved “favorite brother” for Evan. He is the youngest and imho the most misunderstood. He meets Josie and sparks fly right at the start. Romancing the Rancher is about how they each have to deal with their own personal demons and lack of trust in themselves…and then turn those feelings into the best relationship they have ever known.

Evan is so protective of Josie but she can kick his behind. I loved that he wasn’t threatened by that. He was a bit insecure with their levels of accomplishments – until they get it worked out.

Bit of intrigue, some drama, a tattoo, and lots of hawt stuff! My new fave of the series.

Interesting story which I enjoyed. Evan Miller is the youngest son of the Miller sons. He hasn’t figured out what he wants to do with his life. Evan connects with Josie Martinez at the Martinez Ranch which is next to the Miller Ranch. Josie is the VP of Finance at Hogwatch International, a company owned by Josie’s brother Rio’s father. While working in the City at Hogwatch someone broke into Josie’s apartment and attacked Josie and destroyed her apartment. Rob, the person that was stalking Josie showed up again coming after Josie. Josie had decisions to make after all things settled down regarding her job, apartment, etc. Evan and Josie had to work out where there life was going.

Our library doesn’t purchase paperback books but if this book was donated I would recommend it to others.

The story unfolded pretty quickly not realistic. The characters were very likable. Had characteristics that made them special and they made you laugh. Got pulled into the story and enjoyed it. The love scenes were well written and gave you that tingle.

Evan seems disconnected from the ranch and people in his life. The whole book we are left wondering what it is that he wants to do. It's not till the very end that he has the Awakening and chooses. Josie is getting over something traumatic that happened in the city. Country life looks good on her. The end of the book was kind of a surprise to me I didn't expect them to end up where they are.

Kate Pearce delivers another delightful addition to the MIllers of Morgan Valley series. In Romancing the Rancher Evan struggles with living up to his families expectations or "lack" of expectations due to the fact that he is the youngest son, not an easy position to be in. Along comes Josie who sees all of Evan's incredible attributes. The pair hit it off from the start and enjoy challenging each other to complete items off their lists of tasks that take them respectively out of their comfort zones. Wonderful love story with some suspense and drama thrown in. Loved it!

Kate Pearce has brought us back to Morgantown, California in the newest chapter of the Millers of Morgan Valley series. We meet Evan, the youngest Morgan brother. Although his family is all about ranching, he is interested in the rodeo. And he hopes Josie Martinez will show him how it's done.

As Josie and Evan start spending more time together, it becomes more than just helping each other out. Will they be totally open with each other, or are they still not totally honest? Will holding back jeopardize their relationship, or will they trust each other enough to share everything?

Kate Pearce allows us to revisit the Millers in this series and catch up with everyone else. It always feels like visiting old friends. I am looking forward to the next time I get to visit with them.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I would like to thank NetGalley and Kensington Books, Zebra for this privilege.

This is a great book. The two main characters are Josie and Evan. They meet on a ranch owned by Josie’s brother. Josie has a stalker, that has gotten out of prison for good behavior. The stalker is on the run, to try find Josie. Josie knows he coming for her and sets a trap for him to be caught, with the help of Evan. Josie and Evan have problems but manage to work them out and fall in love.

I read the book because I love Morgan wally and its people. In this one, the last of Miller's has his HEA. Did I loved the book, sorry but no, it was mediocre and will be easily forgotten... Evan and Josie met and even they don't know each other they agree to make together a bucket list of what to do. There is no romance. The first kiss happens unromantically and I just didn't feel the spark between them. The story plot continues with some suspense but like I said it is just nothing special without some big twist.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley

The Miller family has been a great series and I loved Evan's. Being the youngest of the brood, Evan has a huge complex of being a blabbing, goof off that essentially puts him on the outside of the family, and really others, as Evan never sees himself as enough.

Josie is recovering from a devastating incident with a stalker. Having been raised with money and fame with her brother, Rio, Josie feels overwhelmed that she can't get over the trauma she experienced.

Evan and Josie find great friendship and comfort in one another and they feel like a true old fashioned courtship. Throw in family drama, fumbling around as a couple and a stalker on the loose and it makes for a great read.

Josie is resting at the ranch recovering from an attempt on her life by a stalker. She has a high-power job that she just can’t deal with right now. Evan in the youngest of the boys running a neighboring ranch and he’s never really left the ranch. He just assumes his life will be as a ranch hand on the family ranch. But he sees Josie riding a bull and is intrigued. They go together to a rodeo and the sparks fly. But Evan is having trouble believing she could want him, a ranch had since she is such a high powered woman.
It was nice to see some of the folks from previous books but still this could be read as a standalone. Evan is so endearing and Josie is likable. The plot isn’t exactly interesting but is somewhat engaging. I think I read on because of the characters not the plot.
I would recommend this book to my patrons if I could put it in the budget. I’m not sure I could make the case though.

'Romancing the Rancher' is the story of Evan Miller, the youngest Miller son in Kate Pearce's The Millers' of Morgan Valley series. Reading this book is bitter sweet for me as it is the final installment for the Miller's of Morgan Valley.

As the youngest son, Evan Miller lived a somewhat sheltered life. Never destined to inherit the family ranch he felt no responsibility, too young at the age of six to be impacted by his mother's departure, Evan's father treated him a bit differently than this older brothers and Evan knew it. Josie Martinez, younger sister to Rio Martinez the world champion bull rider, is seeking solace at her brother's ranch when she meets Evan and they make a pact; each will make a list of things they want to do and take turns completing each task. Can Josie help Evan experience life while overcoming her own struggle?

I love the way Kate developed Evan. He was a bit rough around the edges but Josie's personality and total acceptance of him helped to develop him into a more mature and deeper individual. Both characters have had to deal with a parent abandoning them. Evan was accepting when his mother returns and this easy acceptance amazes Josie who resents the way her father left when she was a baby. The friendship between the two characters develop into a respectful and meaningful relationship.

A continuation of a great series. This one has Evan, the youngest of the boys, meeting his match in Josie, who is staying at her brother's nearby ranch as she recovers from her own issues. A good team as they help each other get stronger and grow together. A wonderful series, story and author. Highly recommend.
