I was provided an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. This audiobook is narrated from dual perspectives and both narrators did a great job bringing Tori and Colton to life. They both did a good job distinguishing all of the characters from the White Peak gang, giving each of them a unique voice so you could tell them apart.

I am a longtime fan of this series and if you have been keeping up with Emma Hart's latest series you will know that Tori and Colton fight with each other constantly. Through the wisdom and sick humor of their friends they ended up on a not so blind date, which you will remember from The Bookworm's Guide to Flirting. If you haven't read that one yet or the series, don't fret, this is a standalone and the first book in a new series. It does take place in the same town and involves the same group of friends as well as some new characters. You can read them all independently, but if you want to read them in order I'd recommend starting with The One Night Stand Next Door, then The Bookworm's Guide to Dating and go from there. It will familiarize you with all of the characters and events up to the point that this book takes place.

OK...back to the book...Tori and Colton went on a not so blind date, drank too much, and now they have a relationship of convenience (aka frenemies with benefits). Their friends and siblings are all starting to settle into relationships and they want to see Colton and Tori happy, so they suggest online dating. Neither of them is really interested in dating in general, let alone online dating. They like their arrangement, which may or may not be turning into something more than just the occasional hookup. This has some pretty spicy scenes, so I'd caution against listening with your kids or at work without headphones.

Much like with every other Emma Hart book I've read this is filled with humor and great banter between all of the characters. The friend group is awesome always snarking at other, but at the end of the day they are there for each other no matter what. I also love the antics of the grandparents. The scenes with the grandparents are always so funny.

If you are looking for a romantic comedy featuring enemies to lovers with two very stubborn main characters, this is the book for you. I really enjoyed watching Colton and Tori figure out their feeling for each other and have to process what that would mean for them in terms of their relationship and their friend group. They were forced to communicate with each other, something they aren't very good at doing. I'm looking forward to reading London and Piper's stories later this year!

This one was just an okay read. If you love a raunchy romance with lots of steam and good characterization this could be more your taste. There was a bit too much explicit language as well but that didn't bother me overly much. I wanted a little more meat to the story but for a light fluffy romance this fit the bill. Much thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for my ALC.

I LOVE this book!! Emma Hart is one of my few “must buy” authors! I love finding out more about the side characters of other books as well as the wit and snark of her heroines! I can’t wait for book two!!!

The narrator was perfect for this book and made the story even better!

DISCLAIMER: I received this book free from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

The story of Tori and Colton was short and sweet and I enjoyed it.
Apart from that, i want to say that I don't think the narrator"s voice sounded like someone who was an introvert. That is a judgement call I am making. It might not feel the same to someone else. I also like to get a feel of the character within the first chapter and it didn't happen.

Thank you Net galley for the ARc of the audiobook.

A short enemies-to-lovers romance.

First, the book. I try not to begin series in the middle and I saw this was #1, so I was happy. Until I started reading. While this is *technically* book 1 of this series, it is VERY connected to The Bookworm's Guide series, and maybe others. I felt lost- there are a lot of characters and they all have a backstory that I was missing. Including the main characters.

I listened to the audiobook. While I cannot fault either narrator, the book didn't translate well to audio. Specifically the dialogue. It came off cheesier than it probably would have in print.

Basically, don't read this if you haven't read the other series. And I'd recommend trying it out in print.

The narrators did a good job keeping the spirit of this overall series in tact.

There was a line or two in the beginning, that referred to the heroines previous relationship with women that made me pause, it would be the only thing that held me back from recommending.

This audiobook seemed to end quickly so I’m not sure if this was abridged. Still an overall quick and enjoyable read.

This was a fun, shorter audiobook. An enemies to lovers trope that was also part secret relationship. This is book one in the series but I'm wondering if it's a spinoff of another series. It felt more like there was some small bit of story I missed out on. It didn't make it hard to enjoy but I am interested in seeing how these two really started out. The narrators were great. Savannah Peachwood is one of my favorite narrators. I will definitely be checking out book 2 and 3.

Such a cute and fun story! I enjoyed the book and I also really liked the audio version. Multiple times I found myself cracking up at everything going on. It was an entertaining listen and I would highly recommend it to others. A great beach read if you want a light and easygoing story.

Emma Hart has done it again! Following Tori and Colton’s story throughout this book was a roller coaster of emotions and a ton of fun. I love all of the books that I’ve read about White Peak so far and I can’t wait to continue on with this series in the next two books. If you love quirky, laughable, and lovable romances, You’ll absolutely love this enemies to lovers style from Emma.

Thank you so much Dreamscape Media for giving me the opportunity to listen to The Introvert's Guide to Online Dating by Emma Hart. I am still new to her backlist but I love her writing. This book is so funny and heartwarming. I enjoyed both characters Tori (Victoria) and Colton their chemistry was undeniable. However, I missed the action, the drama, the trouble in a book, they had their issues, but it was more their own insecurities that were not allowing them to be together. I also don't think this book's trope is enemies-to-lovers because I didn't feel that much hate with each other. Dislike? Yes, but not that much.

I enjoyed reading The Introvert's Guide to Online Dating because was funny, easy read and has heart, Colton's grandad and Tori's granny were extremely funny, I love their characters so much. My rating for this book is 3.5 stars, enjoyable but is missing fire/trouble between characters.

This book was everything I hoped for from this tempestuous coupling that had been alluded to in Emma Hart's The Bookworm's Guide Series. Tori and Colton's personalities leaped off the page, watching each of them slowly come to the conclusion of what they meant to each other while vehemently denying said feelings to anyone with a pulse was entertaining and frustrating in equal measures.

Same quirky cast of characters as her previous series, I love their little town and I will never tire of their grandparents cameos. My biggest complaint about this book is how short it is.

Excellent narration, perfectly in tune with the tone of the book and easily kept me listening and raptly attentive to the story.

If you're looking for a quick and easy romance, The Introvert's Guide to Online Dating is the way to go. Tori and Colton have been hooking up for six months in secret. Outside of the bedroom they seem to barely be able to stand each other, but when they both start online dating feelings come to light.

I listened to the audiobook and it was a nice Friday night listen. Lots of banter and tension going on. There's not really much plot or depth to the characters but it still managed to be a fun listen. I loved how both were too stubborn and scared to admit their feelings so a third party had to get involved. For me, this was a 3.5/5.

If you like tension, secret relationships, and hilarious jealous for no reason, then this one is for you.

The Introvert's Guide to Online Dating
by Emma Hart

I received an audio arc of this book from NetGalley and Dreamscape Media.

Narrated by Savannah Peachwood and Tim Page this audiobook releases 8/31 but the ebook is available now.

This is the first book in a trilogy “The Introverts Guide To…” Speed Dating is the next book and the ebook released in July. Then the third will be Blind Dating to be released 8/17/21.

While this is a first for this trilogy it’s a spin off from 2 previous series following a group of friends. The One Night Stand Next Door/The Girl Next Door. The Bookworms Guide to Dating/Faking It/Flirting. While it’s not completely necessary to have read these books previously I can see where it would make the pay off of this book more enjoyable.

I have not read this author before so I did spend a portion of the beginning of this book wondering why the main characters hate each other? Or do they? This is an enemies with benefits/enemies to lovers. Apparently there is back story in the previous books to support that these two do not get along but are in the same friend group so they don’t want their friends to know when they become enemies with benefits.

This was a shorter audiobook coming in at less than 5 hours something you can easily listen to all in one day which is sometimes just what you need.

This was a great cast of characters especially the side jaunts to visit the wacky grandparents in the nursing home and their chickens.

I love the alternating male - female narration. The narrators were phenomenal and sound quality could not have been better.

This was a fun, short, small town, contemporary rom com with plenty of steam. I look forward to catching up on Emma Harts backlist. 5/5

This a cute book. The banter was great, although sometimes the bickering was a touch too much. Even though this is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone with no problem. Emma Hart does a good job keep all the characters interesting so you want to go back to their stories. The narration was very good, with two narrators. The pace of the narration was a bit slow, but worked fine when sped up. There are some laugh out loud funny moments that work great in audio, while the intimate moments would probably work better in text (in audio it's a bit much). Overall a really fun read that made me want to go back and read the other stories in the series.

Tori and Colton have been doing the friends with benefits for quite some time. They’ve both got actual feeling for each other, but are reticent to acknowledge it to each other or even themselves. so their FWB is sort of working, except they think they’re keeping it a secret, live in a small town so everyone knows and gossips about them, and it stops them from pursuing anything more. They are at times truly awful to each other, but also quite humorous. Its their way of communication and at times riotous! It’s a mostly fun will they or won’t they finally figure it out and get out of their own way listen if you can forget their ages. They are technically of adults and yet, they are two incredibly immature people that surround themselves with a group of equally immature friends and family. I found the overall book a fun and entertaining listen, but did have to let go of everyones glaring immaturity and child like behavior. Great narration. I’ve rounded up to 4 starts, but really would have given 3.5 had it been available. More than a 3, but less than a 4 for me.

A cute friends-to-lovers story. I enjoyed the characters and that the book got to the point and told the story without a ton of fluff along the way. The narrator did a great job of distinguishing between characters and overall it was an enjoyable listen.

3.5 stars

A spin-off of Hart's The Bookworm's Guide to Dating, this book finally gives our favorite enemies-to-lovers their own story. We have been teased about Tori and Colton's relationship over 3 books, so there was a lot of anticipation for me.

I thought that Hart really did a great job with demonstrating the physical attraction between the two, but the bickering is so over-the-top that it was hard for me to root for the couple to get together. It started out as great banter, but it got childish and almost cruel the longer that the book went on. Even when they were finally admitting their feelings, the bickering was a little too pointed for my taste. I still enjoyed the story, but the execution didn't completely land for me.

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for an ARC of this audiobook in exchange for a fair and honest review!
