Although this was my first book by this author, it won't be my last. This book took me on such an emotional and exciting ride. And I was shocked as the book moved along right up until the end of the book. It left me wanting to see this on film. Although it was a complete story, I wanted more. I can't wait to see what is next from this author, and this is not normally my type of book.

I really loved this book!! It had so many twists and turns. It kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next!! This was my first book by this Author, and it won’t be the last!! Quick read!! Highly recommended!! You won’t be disappointed!!

With an interesting premise, Johnie Irish written by T N Jones begins with a man convicted for manslaughter (despite his innocence) walking the streets of New York. Now released, Bayer Thompson is trying to stay on the straight and narrow but is being hassled by a vindictive detective. Events and people conspire to make his life increasingly difficult and when family is hurt, something has to give. The more complicated things become, such as being connected to the mafia, tension rises and a dangerous finale threatens. A revenge, trying to do the right thing story, with enjoyable characters and easy read make for a three-star rating.
