This was a nicely done book about the battle of the Mediterranean.
It was a richly detailed book about the battle for the mediterranean, the planning, operation and liberation from the African to the Italian Peninsula
I highly recommend this book

I found this to be an overly light history of the Mediterranean naval war for my tastes. I think it is a good overview history of the theater, livened with anecdotes and photos. I have read a lot on this topic including significant primary source material and the book didn’t add to my understanding. But for a casual historian or one unfamiliar with this part of the conflict it is by no means bad.

Thanks to NetGalley and Arcturus for letting me read this in exchange for an honest review.

I finally managed to find the best account available about the Mediterranean military campaigns during WWII and it made my day.
An engrossing and richly detailed journey through the military planning and all the operations involved from Northern Africa to the liberation of the Italian Peninsula.
Highly recommended to anyone interested by the military history of WWII and a very useful guide for any student studying 20th century naval history. A masterful publication to be enjoyed without any moderation👍👍

Many thanks to Netgalley and Arcturus for giving me the opportunity to read this terrific ARC
