With Oddball, Sarah Andersen comes through yet again with her characteristically observant and irreverently amusing comics about the ins and outs of anxiety and introvert-ism, the complex connection we have with cats, the absurdities of internet culture and the ocean-wide chasm between generational cohorts.

Thank you to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for kindly passing on this ARC! đź’«

I love books like this! Sometimes you just need a fun book filled with comics to take some of the stress away. I thought this book was particularly interesting because it's super relatable to Millennials and Gen Z readers. A lot of these relate to being the weird, introverted person and, of course, cats. If you find yourself feeling down and need something to make you feel a little lighter, this is the perfect collection of comics! I also just love how funny some of the expressions are that the characters have!

This was a fun and lightheartedly collection of comics. I love the ones relating to books, and featuring cats the best. I didn't love this as much as I've loved her collections in the past, but they still made me smile. The final comic was definitely my favourite!

I am almost one hundred percent positive that I have already seen every single comic in this book online. Yet although none of these were new to me, I still wore a smile that stretched from ear to ear as I enthusiastically read through “Oddball” from cover to cover. As a socially awkward millennial introvert, I continue to fall as squarely into the “Sarah’s Scribbles” target audience as I did when I first discovered and started reading Sarah Anderson’s popular online comic a few years back, and find that it still continues to bring me both joy and a relieved sense of feeling seen in all my own personal peculiarity.

As always Sarah Andersen's sense of humor is brilliant, and her comics really makes you laugh with various things that we can identidy with: the pandemic of 2020, halloween items, cats, anxiety...

If you want to spend a good time, pick one of her comics because they are GREAT!
