I simply love the illustrations. So adorable! The comics are quite funny. Some made me laugh out loud.

Oh how I love Sarah Andersen and her "scribbles". They are so "real life" to me [I have found myself in M A N Y of the situations she draws about] and I find myself laughing out loud at so many of them. If I am ever feeling downhearted, all I need to do it pull up one of her books and while life might still be tough, there will be a little bit of sunshine in it for a time. After the tough book I read yesterday, this was much needed and I was much happier by the end of it. I highly recommend this book [and all her others] - very well done!!

After enjoying her previous books, so much, I was looking forward to this one and find myself a bit disappointed. There seemed to be much less flow, more repetition of points or comics that just felt mediocre. I didn’t find myself saying YES! nearly as often, and perhaps only lol’ed two or three times.

Another fantastic volume in the Sarah's Scribbles collection! I always enjoy her work, but I especially liked some of the darker stuff in this one and seeing her take on covid. If only the digital version had stickers!

The fourth book in this series explores the evils of procrastination, cuteness of kittens, and the beauty of not caring.

Like a TikTok For You page, this book hits home. I am a cat loving introvert so I saw myself in so many of the pages. Every page had me laughing and I don't know how I feel about the fact that she is me. The book is filled with short pieces that I felt to my bones. I can't wait to get my hands on the physical copy of this book so I can reread it. 5 stars.

Sarah Andersen's Sarah's Scribbles series is thanfully popular enough to get yet another installment, fourth to be exact. This funny and yet satisfying comics series is highly relatable to anyone who is shy, love cats and struggles with reality sometimes. Myself including.

I can't say much about Oddball that hasn't already been said because Andersen continunes in what she does the best - scribbling. Cats, social anxiety, impact of social media on new generation etc. - those are some of the topics that she explores in this installment.

I wish these books were longer because I always end up binge reading them, being left with nothing else to read. What a shame! Anyways... I really enjoyed reading this and I'd recommend it to everyone who sometimes feel "odd". Don't worry, you are not alone!

This is so funny. Sarah's humor is my humor, and I love it! I found myself laughing so much, and everything is so relatable, from Gen Z and Boomers to cats vs dogs. I appreciate the joy this has brought to my hour, and I think many different types of people can find humor in these pages. The art is funny and understandable, and the faces add to the humor more! The only bad part about it being an ARC is that I don't get any stickers! But I will own this book, so I guess it's just a matter of time!

I have been a fan of Sarah's books for a long time and get great pleasure reading each new collection of her doodles.

This book is really relevant for me covering such topics as being a fan and an introvert.

The style is very distinctive and recognisable and brought a number of laughs while I was reading it.

Definitely a highly recommended read for anyone looking for a quick and enjoyable book to spend time with.

This was my favorite one of these books yet. I love Sarah Andersen's sense of humor, and her art is so expressive. The cat comics are my favorite, but they are all good.

Before starting to review, I wanted to thank netgalley for providing me with this compilation of stories by Sarah Andersen, it is the second book of her that I read, it is the first I read of her short stories that she shares on her instagram account.
In this it shows us the day of a millennial, what it is to grow up, what the life of a cat is like and many other things carried out in a fun way. And with a simple but striking illustration design, it is a drawing that you see and you say aah is from this author.

It is a reading of an afternoon or less, ideal to hang out and have fun, because in more than one panel it will make you smile with its very particular humor.

Recommended for everyone, and with simple English, so if you are learning to read in English this will help you.

I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

A collection of comics about inner thoughts, social awkwardness, being an oddball, artists, procrastination, cats, dogs, Millenials vs Gen Z, some Halloween inspired ones (witches, vampires, Medusa), authors, memes, 2020/2021 covid things, and random other all-too-relatable moments.

Andersen approaches each topic with subtle humor, and often a slightly new perspective that makes you go…‘It’s funny, but it’s also all too true.’ I’ve never read any of Sarah Andersen’s books before, but I follow her on Instagram and I usually enjoy what she shares there. I’ve definitely heard the hype about her other books, so when I saw the opportunity to get this ARC on NetGalley I pounced on it. I really love her cat comics. They are my favorites (though the author and introvert/oddball ones are very close). Recommended for those who like subtle humor and comics that provide relatable commentary on everyday moments. I’ll definitely have to hunt down her other books now.

Notes on content: No language issues. No sexual content. No violence really, though there are a couple comics about how women love these fluffy topics…and also disturbing true crime stories/shows. There’s some comics about witches with various dark magic paraphernalia in the background, and a couple heaven/hell comics commenting on dogs’ and cats’ natures (though she also clearly loves cats, even if she’s certain they have evil tendencies).

'Oddball' by Sarah Anderson is the fourth Sarah's Scribbles Collection book.

As per usual, there are lots of comics about being an introvert and cats, good and evil. There are lots of book posts this time and witches.

You always know what you are getting with Sarah's Scribbles, but that's not a bad thing in the slightest. I enjoy laughing and commiserating right along with these comics.

Oddball seems like the right title for this book. The humor is unique and reflects what it feels like to not always belong or be comfortable in one’s skin. The comics center on someone who is an introvert and show how hard this can be in an extroverted world.

Fans of this cartoonist, along with some others, will surely welcome this collection.

Sarah Andersen can do no wrong in my eyes. As a fellow introvert with a not so secret weird side, her comics speak directly to me. I was fortunate enough to receive her page-a-day 2021 calendar as a gift and noticed a lot of the comics from Oddball are also in the calendar, but I still enjoyed revisiting them in this book. As with Andersen's other books, I would recommend this one to anyone else who is a little quirky, introverted, and enjoys a good laugh.

I am a huge fan of Sarah Anderson and when I saw this book I got really happy and excited. Once again a perfect book. It made me laugh so much and all the comics are so relatable. Being an introvert sometimes I feel like no one gets me, but reading Sarah Anderson's books I feel understood. I've always enjoyed Sarah Andersen's scribbles. However, although I was able to find some scribbles which I found relatable and funny, the book simply wasn't for me.

Sarah Andersen's comics are a perfect snapshot of what it means to be a millennial adult in the world today. They're also hilarious - seriously, reading these I had tears streaming down my face. From the internet, to cats, to anxiety and depression and self-care, no topic is off limits. If you've been to the internet, you've definitely seen Sarah Andersen's iconic Sarah's Scribbles comics, and while some in Oddball might be familiar, there are plenty of new (and seriously funny) comics to see in this collection. Keep up the good work, Ms. Andersen! I can't wait to see more comics.

Also the comic about the cat's belly being a deadly trap is so true it made me laugh until my ribs hurt.

Sarah never ceases to crack me up! I love this collection because here you start to get a few glimpses are her brilliant new "Cryptid Club" which is adorable and spooky to boot!
