You should know by now that my love of psychological thrillers is a real thing. Every now and then I need to read a book that really messes with my brain. A mind-bending story with sharp turns and more twists than a pretzel is what I crave more often than not. My go-to author for this kind of fun is 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠. Any one of her books paired with a fabulous glass of pinot noir is my perfect Friday night.

What I can tell you for sure is that King writes multifaceted characters who lack reliability and have killer charm. PERFECTION! There are three POVs in 𝘒𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘔𝘦 𝘛𝘰𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘸: Ali, Ethan, and the killer. Mystery narrators in thrillers are my absolute weakness. They add an extra layer of creepiness and “whodunit” to the story keeping me guessing until the very end. King’s latest creation is sensual, ominous, and downright binge-worthy. I personally found this book (and her last book 𝘚𝘢𝘷𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘙𝘰𝘸) not as graphic as some of her previous books… just throwing that out there to curious readers. The best part about King’s book is that you can try and guess your way through this story all you want, but she will stump you in the end!

***AUDIO BOOK VERSION***
Kill Me Tomorrow is a gripping, twisty, turney thriller that was addictive to listen to.
Ethan Lane is a PI who's struggling to make ends meet. He lands a job to investigate the murder of a wealthy bachelor and goes undercover to catch the killer. Ethan meets Ali, who is a sex therapist, famous for her work, and who is looking for something more as her own relationship is failing. Ethan suspects Ali of being the murderer of the murdered men he is investigating, but he is drawn to her in more ways than one. But is he setting himself up as the next victim?
I enjoyed the audio version of this book and the narrators style. This was fast-paced and action-packed and a great listen at the end of a long day.

An awesome psychological thriller that kept me interested the whole time! I was finding excuses to listen to an audio book throughout my day, which is one of the best compliments I can give. This was my first from this author but it will not be my last.

I received an advance copy. All thoughts are my own.

I found this book quite interesting. Murder, intrigue, love, mystery, a bit of everything. Great narration but I got a bit confused at times. I think I would have preferred to read than listen so that when I got lost in the story I could go back and pick it up. Maybe too many characters but I still enjoyed it and it keep me guessing to the end. Thank you for the opportunity to listen to this.

This book had a lot of potential but unfortunately it just didn’t hold my attention. I lost interest in it and had a hard time getting through this audiobook. I didn't care for the narrator either so maybe that had something to do with it also.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

This psychological thriller by Britney King gripped me from the very get-go. The audiobook narration was quite compelling and really did a great job of connecting you to to the characters. I found this to be a very quick listen that only took a few hours, but I actually felt at the end that it had so much more potential to be something great. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed this until the murderer was revealed and then I felt like it took a steep dive and made very little sense to me. It just began to feel unrealistic and I was not at all satisfied with the ending, which was a huge bummer after really enjoying everything leading up to it. I felt that the length of the book really hurt it and with some more development of the main characters this had the potential to really shock readers. However, the ending fell completely flat. I was fully expecting to rate this 5 stars and was waiting for the final reveal that never came. After such a well developed main twist, I was pretty disappointed by such a confusing and almost boring ending. I am still just sitting here shocked by what a turn of events this was, coming from such a high when the murderer was revealed to such a disappointing low ending. This won't prevent me from reading more from Britney King as I thoroughly enjoyed the novel up until that point. Thank you to NetGalley and OrangeSky Audio for this advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

Ali helps people find pleasure in her role as a sex therapist/guru; however she can't seem to help herself. Ethan is a struggling private detective hired to investigate a murder... which turns into a string of murders all connected to a popular dating app.

In Kill Me Tomorrow, Britney King has weaved murder and the taboo pursuit of pleasure into a thriller that is hard to put down, or press pause on as I listened to the audio book.

Thanks to Netgalley, the publisher and Britney King for the chance to listen to Kill Me Tomorrow in exchange for an honest review

Ali is a sex therapist and known around the world for her work. Ethan is a PI hired to investigate the death of a wealthy bachelor. He stumbles across a series of similar murders where the victims were all members of a dating app, so he creates a profile to try to lure in the murderer. But he meets Ali, the woman of his dreams. It becomes clear that Ali is not as perfect as she seems as her web of deceit starts to unravel. What a fast-paced thriller with an end you won't see coming! This is my first Britney King book and I cannot wait to check out her other books.

The narration of the audiobook was spot on. So easy to listen to!!

I never know in which direction Britney King is going to take me. This book has more curves and twist than a mountain road. I swear at the beginning I knew who was preying on the men of the Beacon dating app but halfway through I Thought no maybe not. But as Private Investigator Ethan Lane delves into suspect Ali Brown not all is as it seems to be. Is she really a killer? Deception is a very powerful tool. So halfway through I began to doubt my own sleuthing skills and Britney King leads me on a ride I didn't see coming. So Kill Me Tomorrow is so exciting to read I truly couldn't get enough.
I did receive the audio from Netgalley and enjoyed listening to the amazing narrator Patrick Zeller. He did a great job bringing all the characters to life.

I really wanted to like this, but I don’t think audio is the way to read this book. I got so confused and then had no idea what anyone was talking about. I’m going to have to give this another chance by reading it physically

Ali is a sex therapist-slash-guru, famous for the work she does helping others find pleasure.

The problem is that Ali can never quite find it for herself, which doesn't stop her from trying to find it, in many ways....

Her life's work makes nothing taboo, nothing off limits. And she's tried everything short of murder. Although, with the way things are going, it's not off the table.

When Ethan Lane is hired to investigate the death of a wealthy bachelor, he isn't expecting to stumble into a string of murders. The victims are men, and all members of a popular dating app. Operating undercover with a profile of his own, he meets the woman of his dreams—who also happens to be his best suspect.

The question: Can Lane stay alive long enough to prove his theory? And does he want to?

This murder/mystery/thriller leaves you guessing who exactly Ali is, who Ethan is, because both have secrets and hidden desires.
In Ethan's case, you can almost say he has a sort of death wish with how deeply he involves himself in this case.

The story is intriguing though a bit slow in pace. But that doesn't make it any less captivating!

And you figure out who's the killer pretty early on... until you don't! Because the revealing plot twist was what salvaged the story for me, because if it had been who I was assuming, the book would have flopped for me.

So, kudos to the shocking twist.

But it doesn't end there, because just when you think things are resolved... you get hit with yet another twist in events.

It really is about dubious characters and what anyone is willing to do to achieve certain goals.

I highly recommend this if you're looking for a different kind of murder mystery story that will indeed leave you guessing till the end.

Ethan is a hired PI who is investigating the death of a father which leads him to a dating app where he meets Ali who is a famous sex therapist and also his prime suspect. An intriguing plot with a really good twist at the end, i would say this is worth a read.

Thank you so much for this ARC!

I’m typically a huge fan of Britney King, but this audiobook was not for me. I will absolutely read it in the kindle version but was not a fan of the narrator.

Kill Me Tomorrow: A Psychological Thriller
Britney King
Ethan Lane is a Private Investigator. His latest case is a homicide case; a wealthy bachelor was murdered. It appears the killer locates victims on a dating app, Beacon; Ethan goes undercover. During his investigation he meets a famous sex therapist, Ali. While she may help others with their bedroom problems, Ali’s love life is suffering. Ali is a married woman who has one-night stands. She is a successful businesswoman with offices in several cities; her clients are satisfied with her help. Ali wants more! She wants anticipation, adventures, and danger. Ali educates her female clients in how to be seductive and how to find erotic gratification. Ali has a insatiable carnal hunger, she loves men! She enjoys bondage sporadically. She uses men for her sexual pleasure and for material gratification. She has met several high-profile men on the dating app.
Ethan is a divorced father of three, in need of money. He has been hired by Camille to investigate her father’s death which is listed as suicide; she suspects he was murdered. Ethan has been on the case for several months; he has a lead suspect, a woman. There is a connection between all the victims…Beacon the dating app. Could Ali be the serial killer? She is influential, devious and everything Ethan wants in a woman. There is much more to Ethan’s story.
This is a psychological thriller. Author Britney King is a talented author capable of bringing her characters to life. In “Kill Me Tomorrow” Brown has created a complex, multi-dimensional female lead in Ali. Ethan is also a well fleshed out character. The story is told through three points of view: Ali, Ethan and an unknown person. There are several twists and turns and the ending may surprise you.

Received an audio version of Kill Me Tomorrow by Britney King for review.

The narrator has a soothing voice and is pleasant to listen to. However I think the audio would have benefited from having a 2nd narrator for the female voice.
I did find it hard to follow who was speaking at some points.

I think I would have benefited by reading this book, rather than listening. As it was hard to follow.

There was a lot of description to paint the location and characters. There is a lot of steamy parts with one of the main characters being a sex therapist.

If you like a murder mystery, combine with sex and lots of extra characters thorn in this would be a good read for you.

Kill Me Tomorrow by Britney King is a steamy, action-packed crime fiction that checks every box of the genre.

Ali is a sex therapist-slash-guru, famous for the work she does helping others find pleasure. The problem: Ali can never quite find it for herself. Her life’s work makes nothing taboo, nothing off-limits. And she’s tried everything short of murder. Although, with the way things are going, it’s not off the table. When Ethan Lane is hired to investigate the death of a wealthy bachelor, he isn’t expecting to stumble into a string of murders. The victims are men and all members of a popular dating app. Operating undercover with a profile of his own, he meets the woman of his dreams—who also happens to be his best suspect.

I am a big fan of King. She inspires me as an author and it doesn't hurt that she writes in my genre. I have read three of her books with two on my to-be-read pile and I am constantly coming back for more.

Regarding the plot of this story, I was initially very intrigued by the idea of it. I had so many doubts about who was the killer and what their motive was but having read hundreds of books in the genre, I quickly figure out who the killer was which was a bit of a buzzkill for me. I would have loved a more ironclad twist. With all that said though, if this is your first go at Crime Fiction, get ready to be surprised. King set everything up nicely, I just so happened to have a wildly speculative mind!

My favorite character was actually Lane's secretary, Nadia. I love the characters with lots of common sense and those who support others. I did like Ethan Lane but he had a few moments of "what are you thinking" that made me scratch my head. I think the idea behind some of his common sense lapses was that King was trying to make Ali so irresistible that Lane couldn't think straight with her. I found that a little improbable considering the circumstances.

I loved the world of the book. Ali was quite the jet setter so we got to see many different locales and explore travel with her. That was fun. I also really liked Lane's office. I don't know why but it reminded me of every struggling P.I's office and I just felt comfy there. Plus some of the funniest scenes took place in that office!

The themes of trust and deceit were pretty heavy in this book but I have to admit that I didn't see the payoff of those themes with the ending. It felt a little rushed and I think there could have been one more chapter to tie up the twist ending. It truly felt like there was a chapter pulled from the book at a pivotal moment.

Regarding the narration, I wasn't a huge fan. The vocal range of the male characters was pretty stale, but I listened and paid attention so I understood which character it was more because of the story, less because of the narration.

Overall, I enjoyed the book. I would recommend it to someone who wants to start reading crime fiction and may want a little steam to go with that. This book has a lot of steam. I think King is a pro at that.

I started listening to Kill Me Tomorrow right before bed, which turned out to be a big mistake! Once I started, I couldn’t stop listening. Britney King is always entertaining, but this might be her best yet! A psychological thriller that really is an edge-of-your-seat listen, Kill Me Tomorrow is fantastic!
