The characters are so real and relatable and the story had me laughing out loud and reaching for a tissue to wipe away tears.

Jada, the main character, goes through so much. I cheered for her during every second - through her ups, downs, mistakes, redemption, and her triumphant moment at the end, Jada is someone I’d love to hang out with in real life. Also, Fern Ronay's representation of the afterlife is a comforting take and one I adored!

If you’re looking for an escape from the stress of daily life, read this book!

Jada seems okay, a little bit interesting at first...but as i went further into the story, she was hard to connect to and sometimes annoying. Her husband seem like a dull, annoying sometimes-idiot, so i understand why she had problems with him. But, it was not as funny or interesting as i had wished the story to be.

Jada Marlone’s life appears to be perfect on social media. She has a loving husband, a beautiful child, and a successful career. What she doesn’t post about is the disconnect she feels in her marriage, the difficulties of motherhood, and her strained relationship with her mother.

Resigned to never being truly happy, Jada runs into an ex-boyfriend. While trying to decide whether the coincidence is her second chance at happiness, Jada begins having dreams that feature her dead cousin Gina.

With Gina’s help, Jada starts to uncover the real reasons behind her life decisions. As Jada tries to figure out her future, uncontrollable events threaten her resolve. Will she be able to draw from all she learned from Gina, or will she risk making the same mistakes twice?

I really enjoyed this book. It was hard to put down as it drew me in immediately and before I knew it I was in the middle of the book!

There is kind of a spiritual element to this book, as our main character Jada delves into her emotions and wonders why she has made the decisions she made through her dreams! In her dreams, she is re-connecting with her dead cousin Gina and trying to learn from what Gina is telling her. Can she figure it all out to fix the problems in her life?? An interesting read, especailly for anyone into the meaning of dreams and spirituality

Better believe it by Fern Ronay

A book that follows the life of Jada who on the surface appears to have everything- the big house and baby whilst living life at warp speed but look if you scrap the surface not everything is as it seems You lose yourself. The book asks is this really what she wants and will she have the courage to change it?

An interesting read although not my usual type of book.

Light hearted easy read although in its own way makes you think. Very enjoyable easy read .

This is a difficult review to write. How do you describe a book that inspired me to close it mid-book(maybe 3/4 of the way) and just spend time thinking of my mom who passed away 20 years ago? And to do it with a smile. This isn't a heavy book though. Its light and quirky and funny. Jada is a wise cracking mom on the edge, who doesn't have much of a filter and says all the things you'd like to say but know better. According to her social media, her life is perfect. What she's hiding is bringing her to a breaking point. When her dead cousin, Gina, and grandparents visit her in her dreams, she starts to see things differently but does she have the courage to make some hard changes in her life. Sometimes it's just easier to let things ride as they are. There's sadness, heartache and heartbreak. There's life advice...and I'll be re-reading this with that as my focus now that I've enjoyed Jada's story. And no matter what your beliefs, I hope that the time spent with Gina and the grandparents brings you the same warm feeling about people you're missing the most that it brought me.

A cute quick read about thinking you have it all but realize it’s not all you thought it would be. I enjoyed it and liked the story line, albeit a bit far fetched in parts

I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the ebook. I don't know what to really say about this book. I really tried to give it a try but it was just not my cup of tea. I didn't like any of the characters or the story plot.

The moment you become a mum, people have expectations. And not all of them 'fit'. Then there are expectations of marriage, of family, and ... of the social media world! This novel is relatable, interesting, and the characters, especially Jada, are richly portrayed! Great book. Thanks to NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I can't even start to explain with words how healing was to me to read this book, so I won't.

Is an easy-to-read story, very well written, in simple and meaningful words, anyone can read and find itself in it.

The plot is the individual rebirth, starting with the belief that says “There are no mistakes, only lessons.” which I found interesting and profound since it's not a non-fiction story but definitely based on real facts.

I like everything about this book, its characters were very special and realistic that I even saw myself in one of them, but you will have to read it to know which character is. Let me know.

Almost forgot, remember life is wonderful!

This book is fascinating as it really explores the evolution of Jada and how she determines her true self. For so long, her spirit was both the best and worse side of her. By going against what her mom and Orly represented, she ended up in a career that she tolerated, a large house that she barely saw and a marriage with Mark that could on!y be quantified as a marriage on paper. She wanted so bad!y to fit in that her life truly became superficial. It is on!y through the visits from her grandparents and Gina Rose was she answering the hard questions. It is there that she actually started to take action rather than simply talk about it.
