I was so excited to read this book especially because some of my favorite authors collaborated to write this lovely book! Heirs of Falcon Point is written by Traci Hunter Abramson, Sian Ann Bessey, Paige Edwards, and A. L. Sowards and it was such an exciting book!
Karl was on the run, he just wanted to protect his family. He and his two sisters, Anna and Ingrid were forced to flee their home but they never expected to be ripped apart by the war, never to be reunited. Anna, Cole and Tess have never met or even known of each other but they are searching for the past that their relatives had told them of. However there are some who don’t wish for the Lang family to find each other or find Falcon Point. Will the descendants of Karl and his sisters, Anna, Cole and Tess, be able to find each other and find their home. Or will those who wish to take the wealth of Falcon Point succeed?
This was such a fun and interesting book to read! There were so many things happening and I was really interested in seeing how it would end! The first person you really follow is Karl and his sisters as they escape their home. Karl was an interesting character to read from, he was loyal to a fault and he wanted to avenge his family.
I adored all of the characters and I enjoyed reading from their perspectives. They were different characters and yet they were also similar. They each had their own ideas and the way they responded to difficult situations.
Anna was also fun, I found her conversations with Beckett so sweet. She came to work at Falcon Point and it was sweet to read about letting Beckett back into her heart. I liked how strong and stubborn she was, it was cool.
Tess wasn’t really searching for her past or to learn more about her heritage, but life had other plans. She was brave and I liked how she didn’t freak out when things got crazy. She was strong but she was also able to lean on her friends. Her romance with Bram was sweet! He was so nice.
Cole was the “cool” one. It was really interesting to read about him and see how he was different from his cousins. He knew what he was looking for and he also knew how to take care of himself. I also enjoyed reading from his perspective. His side romance was also cute, just not as prominent.
The whole story was interesting and I was on the edge of my seat reading this book. The bad guy was shockingly good at what he does. But the ending!! I would recommend this book to those who like any books by these authors. I am excited to read more by these authors. Heirs of Falcon Point was a clean, historical suspense romance.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the publisher through Netgalley. All views expressed are only my honest opinion, a positive review was not required.

I posted my review on Bookbub and Barnes and Nobles. I will post my review on Amazon and blog closer to release date.

Heirs of Falcon Point review

What a great book!

May I suggest you read this on a day you have all day to read? You're not going to want to put it down!

The book starts is 1930s Austria, and an escape from Hitler's regime. This is not a genre I often read. But I was sure falling in love with the characters with every train ticket purchased, hiding spot, and disguise as the Langs have to leave their beloved home, Falcon Point. They leave a treasure they hope to be able to return to soon.

Then the scene changes to present day. Which was a little jarring to me. I could read an entire book about the original characters.

Although I certainly fell in love with the present day peeps, too, who are descendants of the original group. They don't know each other. Or even about each other.

Through their different careers and life situations, they all end up in the same area - around Falcon Point. Their lives are in danger, just from being heirs. Will they be able to survive? Take down the foe(s)? Reclaim the treasure? I recommend you read the book and find out!

If i had one word to describe this book I would have to go with ......intense

I read other reviews on this book and feel like I read something different. I agree that it was a very good book with some excellent storytelling. Is there some romance in there? yes, but it is not a romantic book.

IN the beginning, the 4 children have to escape and the story of their escape and their survival is just sad to me. I kept rooting for something to happen (trying not to spoil) and the tension as the story unfolded and my wishes were not granted was really well done. I loved, loved, loved the first half.

The second half is the story of their children/heirs. It ties into the story nicely, including a common villain -- however, it almost felt like a different book and story to me. The tone felt a little different, and it was a little less stressful to me. It was still really well written, but I was not quite as involved as I was with the original children.

The writing was really well done, and it is hard to believe it was different writers - unless different people wrote the beginning versus the end, which would explain why I felt the way I did. I was immersed into the story and the worlds that were built and I wanted more.

Thank you to the authors, the publisher and #netgalley for the ARC which did not impact my review.

This is a fast-paced, intriguing read that relies more on the history and characters' goals than on each individual character's growth.

It starts in Austria in 1940 with a father trying to get himself and his three children away from the Nazis. Things don't go well and the family is separated.

Then it jumps to present time to follow the descendants of each of those siblings and it includes several points of view, including the antagonists. I liked the setting of Falcon Point and the way the cousins worked together to restore what was rightfully theirs.

I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.

Traci Hunter Abramson, Paige Edwards, Sian Ann Bessey and A.L. Sowards bring their particular experience, talent and expertise to create a fascinating blend of characters who captured my imagination. Since these authors are on my most favorite list, I couldn't wait to see what they would create together and they did not disappoint. I found myself on edge throughout the tale. It was such a great combination of family love, and loyalty with equal parts of danger and suspense. Honestly, I really loved this book. I'll read it again!

Four authors, one phenomenal book!
Have you ever wondered what would happen if four great authors worked together on one story? Well now you can see the results. This book brings four great authors together to collaborate on one story and it really works. This book will have you engaged in the first chapter, if not first page, it is so good and it continues to get better with each following chapter. You definitely will not want to put it down. The book opens in Austria just after the Nazis have taken control. Leopold Lang, a wealthy Austrian and a coding/decoding expert, is approached by a friend and asked to join the Nazi movement. When he refuses it becomes clear to him that the Nazis will not take no for an answer and he decides to flee with his children. But deceit, greed, and murder intervene and the children are separated never to be reunited again. Now the children’s descendants are continuing the search for Falcon Point but the path again is filled with the evil Leopold faced. What a great book! Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the copy. This is my honest review and I highly recommend it.
