Devney Perry never disappoints! In this new series, we are again transported to a small town in Montana. This time we meet Winslow, newly crowned chief of police, and Griffin the grumpy well-to-do land owner. Dislike is strong between the two, but of course sparks fly as arguments abound. Winslow has to solve the mystery of why young women keep turning up dead in apparent suicides. This book is full of heat, love and mystery and readers will be hooked from the first page.

I love me some Devney Perry and was excited to get my hands on the first official title in the new The Edens series. It did not disappoint. Winn and Griffins chemistry was so great. I love that it started off with a bang, went a little bit to hatred, and then the relationship just built itself without them realizing it. My only qualm about the start of it was that I didn't really get why they were so angry at each other once they found out they both lived in Qunicy. Just seemed like a plot device to make their relationship more interesting. Other than that, the mystery was good, if not a tad bit predictable. I was definitely on the edge of my seat at the climax of it all. I can't wait to see the rest of the series. Perry left it with a great lead into what I'm assuming will be Knox and Memphis's story next. Can't wait to see what the rest of The Edens series has in store
