Super simple board book. The story is nothing new, but in this book, it is all about the illustrations. At first it make me think of Lois Ehlert for just the brightness of the illustrations. But they are their own, they are unique, and they are truly works of art.

With bold colors and rhyming couplets, this succinct little board book is enchanting for those tiny ones, and fun to read for the adults too. My kids love this series!

I like that the interactive track for each animal is a different shape, which will allow small children the opportunity to explore the feeling of different shapes when they are tracing the track. The colours and illustrations were so vibrant and eye catching. I think kids will have fun learning about these five animals in this interactive, rhyming book.

This is a short vibrantly illustrated book about some wild animals. I found it to be simple and appealing, just what is needed for the very youngest book owners.

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this title. All opinions are my own.

This is a great board book for kids and the colors are vibrant and really draw in the reader. I did think there would be more to the story, but it was a cute book for babies.

A board book that demands baby gets to grips with having a book in their hand, and exploring all it can offer – even if that is just having a doodad one can move across or around the design. That said, it isn't as good as the one I saw last week concerning animal habitats ("5 Wild Homes" – https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/4186012056). Like that, this has a simple rhyme, wonderful colours and a vivid aesthetic for every verso page, and also a nubbin set into the thick card recto to be moved about, but here there's less reason to do the moving, as it just fills a hole in the critters' face, and doesn't have a specific motion across the landscape. And the bonus features previously evident, of exploring the whole world of each image, are lost when these are just portraits of the beasties and nothing else.
