The historiography of Canadian History is filled with texts exploring class, but this book does address a significant gap in focusing just on the creation of the middle-class in a post-war Canada. Not just from a historical perspective, but from a policy perspective and an economic perspective. Fans of Elsbeth Heaman and Valerie Korinek will likely enjoy this text. I am looking forward to getting a physical copy for my shelves.
