This was such a sweet book with an important message. I loved the illustrations they were so well done, children will definitely be charmed by it.

It was a really inspiring book who will definitely be helping a lot of kids discover their self worth and embrace all the good things that come in their way.

Will recommend this book for sure!

I had mixed feelings about this book. It shows the limitless possibilities of a day and what you can find to bring joy wherever you are. I loved the illustrations that were rich and full of families and children enjoying one another and their activities. The other part of the book is building self-confidence and positive feelings about self. The message of "you are enough" was repeated on almost every page. I get that children need to hear it and see it acted out to believe it, but this seemed forces and artificial. There was not story, just pages of a activities and affirmations of different people, that really didn't pull my grandkids in at all. They sat and listened but did not engage at all. They quickly selected a different book they wanted to listen to.

A sweet book about being enough and taking it a day at a time. A great jumping off point for conversations about worthiness.

Today is many things, but each day you are enough. That is the main refrain of the story. Today is for being sad. Today is for being in the city. But does everyone know they are enough? This book felt very preachy, but for some kids the constant reminder is needed. The illustrations are nice, and match the book really well, but overall I found this book a bit lackluster.

Thank you to Netgalley and Clavis Publishing for access to this arc.

Yeah I’ll be honest and admit that the cat mother with her kitten on the cover got me – got me in the cat “feels.” The illustrations here are splendid and charming. I could sit and look at them for a long time. The message however is a bit simplistic and repeated on almost every page. “You are enough.” Yes, it’s important and given that people need to hear something positive said ten times to make up for one negative thing, I guess I can understand why it’s reiterated so much but as there’s no real story for children to follow, I could see them getting bored. I’m afraid that one or two readings would be all that most children would be interested in. C+

How can you make your world a better place? You can believe in your mind and your heart that you are enough. When you get up every day you can administer kindness to all the things around you because you are enough and you love who you are.

This sweet book encourages you not only to look forward to a beautiful day ahead but embrace all the things that come your way as you journey through it. What's today for? It's for: cloudy skies and raindrops that make the grass happy, remembering how much love you have in your heart, drinking tea, being with friends and being with flowers as flowers never worry about growing crooked or getting enough sunshine, just to name a few. All these things are engaging and enjoyable because you are enough.

The illustrations are gorgeous. They are detailed and the characters are adorable. This inspiring book is a one of self-acceptance and being an ambassador of peace. I highly, highly recommend it.

Beautiful illustrations, but I was not a fan of the message. As a Christian, the Bible teaches us that we are not enough and that we are not worthy. That's why we need Jesus. I read a lot of secular kids books, but when they try to create some kind of false, secular idea of "self-worth" like this book, I usually stop reading.

My favorite part about this book was the illustrations. They're absolutely beautiful. The message in this is also great, though deep, so maybe this is better for children over 6 years old, since younger kids may not understand it. That being said, this book has very little text, so you'll probably have to pair it with another one at bedtime.

This book is beautifully illustrated and contains a heartfelt message that we are enough, just the way we are. This would be a wonderful book to share with young children.

Today could be counting raindrops or taking long walks.
Today could be for making wishes, for friends, or other stuff.
Each day is so much better when you believe that you're enough.

Each day is a discovery and for children's well being, it is good for them to discover the world around them. To wonder, learn, and to accept themselves as they are. It is a good way to learn contentment.

Parents will also find contentment reading this beautifully illustrated book about what a day can bring.

A special thank you to Clavis Publishing and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review.

This is a short picture book, almost written in verse, about all the different things each day is for. I love the feeling of gratitude and serenity that is painted, not just through the words, but through rich illustrations of the animal families and children's activities. It celebrates being together, but also celebrates the time we might want to explore and think on our own. Every child will find something that they like to do represented within these pages. This would be great for reading in the morning, before bed, or before some type of movement activity as it reminds me very much of children's yoga books. I think I could only like the book more if we saw diverse human families and children. We have so many animal stories already! I hope this team will continue to make gorgeous tales like this.

Beautiful story about accepting ourselves and others as we are. There is beauty in imperfection and appreciating those as part of what and who we are.

What a beautiful little book! The illustrations were just as sweet as the message. I will definitely be buying a hard copy of this one.

This is sweet and sentimental tale. It presents a walk through various days with a perspective of being positive or reflective or full of gratitude.

In order to do a resonance-check, one should note that there’s a line that mentioned that friends helped to teach the character that he is enough. I recognize that some children might feel isolated by that sentiment.

There is also a statement which says that the day is for wondering about tomorrow. Parents who teach their children to stay in the present moment might not feel aligned to that.

But overall, the book is short, sweet, and presents the message that no matter what is happening – you are enough!

(I did not purchase this book, I received an advanced reader copy).

Days are for doing or thinking about many things. Every page in this wonderful little book is self affirming and positive and filled with fascinatingly fanciful illustrations by Federico Van Lunter.
The language of the text is suitable for reading with young and old and excellent for ESL.
I requested and received a free temporary ebook copy from Clavis Publishing via NetGalley. Thank you!

This book is about making the most of each day and always feeling that you are enough. It is a sweet book, with gorgeous illustrations and a beautiful theme. I love that the author has highlighted different types of days and also acknowledges that you won’t be happy everyday, but there is always some good in life. This book is a reminder to see the beauty around you and always know that you are worthy.

Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read this story.

This is probably one of my more favorite children's books I've read. The art is beautiful and the story has a wonderful message. I especially loved the part that focused on how it's OK to be sad for a little. Which even adults seem to struggle with (myself included).

This is a lovely little children's book, which has beautiful illustrations and short text which repeats the positive affirmation "I am enough". The book teaches children that they are always enough and that they should try to enjoy each day, knowing that they are worthy. My daughter enjoyed the images of the book and we found the book very calming to read together.

Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book was cute, but my 3 year old was very bored with it. There isn’t really a story to it, so it didn’t keep her interested.
