Jennifer Probst has created such a tale of one mother's unexpected death yet we see not just a mother but we see the young girl in love she used to be. For Priscilla, Devon and Bailey there mother seemed to be just that a mom with no secrets, lies or regrets in this case. Olivia was young when she meets a young Italian sexy guy Rafe. To her he was her first and probably only love but Jennifer Probst takes us behind the scenes so to speak through Olivia's eyes. I loved that we saw two versions of Olivia, the young girl so in love with the Italian guy giving her attention yet the confused one of trying to make all her dreams and love coincide. Three daughters who never even knew their mother at this stage so in love it was refreshing to see them see she was so much more. The Amalfi Coast comes to life with Jennifer Probst and yet would have loved more of Rafe in this book. Seeing the sisters not only coming to terms with their mother's secret but each one seems to be well floating in all directions in life. Loved seeing that through their mother's letters they each see in a way their mother is teaching them to be free and don't let love pass them by. The Secret Love Letters of Olivia Moretti is a tale that takes us in a young girls first taste of love to seeing her grown into a woman torn by love on the coast to real love in the city. Loved it.

Books about sisterhood are always interesting, and this one is no different. The three sisters do not always get along, but they go on a vacation together at the request of their mother. I will read anything Probst writes.

Maybe I am just a sucker for Italy or maybe this was one of the best books I've ever read. I am obsessed with the plot, obsessed with the setting. As someone with Italian roots, I love to read books that center in Italy. The description of the setting transported me back and I am so thankful. This was my first Probst novel and I will now be reading anything she ever writes.

So freaking good! A timeless story of love, loss and self discovery. Upon Olivia Moretti's death her three daughters find themselves questioning if they really knew their mother or each other for that matter all because of some secret love letters they found in their mother's closet. Olivia's choices shaped who she was but love is eternal.

The three sisters Priscilla, Devon and Bailey travel to Positano to see if they can find the mysterious R but end up finding so much more. The more they spend in Italy the more the sisters question themselves and their lives. Rifts are mended, love once lost is found and new love emerges in the same steps of their mother. This is a story that will have you evaluating your own life decisions and have you asking the hard "what if's". So many emotions as you relive "first love" through the eyes of others and watch the sisters bond in a way they never had before..

This was a story that was hard to put down. It reads very cinematically, as if you were journeying along with the sisters. I was just as invested in finding R as they were.

Not one that I might have picked up off the shelf to buy, but I was pleasantly surprised by this book I won form the published. Of course the cover sucked me in, but the story of the three sisters, Priscilla, Devon, and Bailey rang true. I wanted to know what happened to their mother during her time as a young woman in Italy. I think that's why I liked it, it was the mystery layered with the romance.

Great read about family and Italy. I quite enjoyed following the path the sisters took to get to know their mother.

This book is one I'll recommend to every woman I know.
When Olivia passed away, her three daughters inherited her house, and while cleaning out their mothers belongings , they found some letters and a deed for a house in Italy, so the decide yo take a trip there .
Priscilla the older daughter wants to find proof that their mother didn't have a secret affair they didn’t know about. She's not so close to her sisters , blaming this disconnection on their age difference.
Devon, the middle child, is more interested in the value of the property, for her, financial security is the most important thing. She's career driven and appears indifferent about most things.
Bailey, the baby of the family.She is considered the most irresponsible one, by Devon, while Priss envies the closeness those two had growing up. The only thing Bailey wants from this trip, is to know more about her mother.
Loosing her was hard on all three of them.
The story is told from points of view, and it was an amazing journey.
It was so different from what I expected,
Olivia's point of view starts when she's still a teenager. Reading about her, brought me back to that age when you need to make choices you'll need to live with forever. I think that most women would agree that while we say we can have it all, a happy family and a career, it's not entirely true. A woman always needs to sacrifice something: her career, time with her loved ones or herself. We often give so much that we loose ourselves in the process.
I loved the fact that we were given each sisters point of view. It made me think how many times I looked at someone and saw only what's on the surface.
This story is about the different shapes of love. Olivia loved in so many ways, but her love for her children was the most powerful one. This trip helped her daughters open up and become closer to each other. It changed their perspective on many things.
The best women's fiction book I've read .

This is a novel of family secrets set in Italy. I really enjoyed this novel. It is a light and breezy novel. It is filled with family drama and romance. The setting is very magical! Therefore, this makes a perfect beach read! I recommend this fans of Lucinda Riley, Joanne Harris, and Corina Bomann!

Thank you so much for the chance to read this book in advance but I tried several times to finish it but I’m just not feeling it. It’s a DNF for me but I hope people are having a good experience with it.

THE SECRET LOVE LETTERS OF OLIVIA MORETTI features sisters Priscilla, Devon and Bailey who became estranged after the death of their Mother Olivia. It’s through her letters that they discover she owned a home in Italy and has been exchanging letters with a mysterious man.

I just loved it from start to finish, and each character held a special place within the story. The Italian setting made the book complete and I’m gushing after reading!

Jennifer Probst + the Amalfi Coast + estranged sisters + family secrets? How could I resist? I loved this story of a lost love and complicated family dynamics between mothers and daughters and sisters. It tackles a lot of the same themes as "one Italian Summer" but Rebecca Searle but I enjoyed this book a lot more. Definitely grab a copy for the beach - it's the perfect vacation read!

The Secret Letters of Olivia Moretti is a relatable story of self-discovery, strained relationships, regrets, and acceptance. A perfect spring weekend read.

After discovering their mother’s secret love letters along with the deed to a property in Italy, Priscilla, Devon, and Bailey take a trip to find out more. As if guided personally by their mother, these sisters will not only discover their mother’s past, they rediscover themselves.

Similar to Our Italian Summer, Probst touches on familial relationships with romance in the background. Probst did a magnificent job making everyone’s pov relatable. I will bet every reader will find themselves in one of these characters or situations at one point in their lives. While I enjoyed the different POVs and relationships, I was engrossed with Olivia’s story and the hard choices she faced. It was both heartbreaking and beautiful. This one is not one to miss.

I am curious if Probst has plans for Aunt Silvia’s Story. I bet hers is a colorful one. I’ll have to wait and see.

This is such a wonderful book about sisters and family secrets in a beautiful Italian setting. It's heartbreaking at times but I loved the dual timeline and multiple points of view. I wanted to be in Italy reading this and the delicious food descriptions!

I recommend this if you love books about sisters, family secrets and Italian settings!

The last letter promised to meet him on her 65th birthday but she never made to 65. As Priscilla, Devon, and Bailey unearth the truth, they also experience the magic of Italy, the power of sisterly love, a little unexpected romance, and newfound hope for the future. Jennifer Probst is a familiar author and I enjoy her romances and family interaction. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

I like Jennifer Probst and while I feel like this book was different than her other ones I still enjoyed it. She did a great job making me feel like I was there, but I felt like the story needed something more.

With all that is going on in the world right now, I am seeking out escapist books, and this one absolutely worked for me! Thanks for the opportunity to preview the title.

Position and the Amalfi cost lend a special magic. This book has some short comings but it definitely reflects this magic as it examines love and marriage and family. Delightful read.

Wow! It's been a while since I've read a book that made me think, feel and explore the world like this one did! The writing was beautifully descriptive, and it gave me the travel bug like none other. I loved following the three different perspectives and gaining insights into the family in different ways was super powerful. It was a immersive read, and I really enjoyed this. If you are a fan of multiple point of views, books with a historical and mystery subplot - I say take a chance on this one! I will definitely be reading more of this author in the future.
