"Doizemaster - Phantasm Creed" by Quintana is an enchanting and captivating fantasy read that offers a unique magic system and well-crafted world building. From the moment I started reading, I was immersed in a world filled with wonder and adventure.

One aspect that truly stood out to me was the development of friendships among the characters. As they faced magical and fantastical challenges together, their bonds grew stronger, and I could feel the genuine connection between them. Quintana skillfully weaves the building and maintenance of these relationships throughout the story, creating a sense of camaraderie and forming their own chosen family. It was a joy to witness their growth and the depth of their connections.

The world building in "Doizemaster - Phantasm Creed" is masterfully executed. Quintana has a talent for conjuring vivid imagery that brings the world to life in the reader's imagination. From the intricate details of the magical system to the richly described settings, I was transported to the realm of Azahar and could easily visualize its beauty and intricacies.

The plot of the book is both original and compelling. The development of the magical system is intricately woven into the narrative, providing a fresh and intriguing aspect to the story. Quintana's writing style is beautifully descriptive, allowing readers to fully immerse themselves in the main character's perspective and experience the sense of wonder and discovery alongside them.

While some characters could have had more dedicated time for their development, I found myself growing fond of them nonetheless. Each character brought something unique to the story, and their interactions added depth and complexity to the overall narrative.

Quintana's storytelling is filled with powerful quotes and moments of reflection. The themes of kindness, courage, and the transformative power of personal growth resonate strongly throughout the book. The promise of change and the anticipation of what lies ahead leave readers eagerly anticipating future installments.

In conclusion, "Doizemaster - Phantasm Creed" is a delightful and enchanting fantasy novel that offers an original magic system, genuine friendships, and a world brimming with vivid imagery. Quintana's ability to create immersive settings and compelling characters shines through, making this book a truly enjoyable read. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a magical and heartfelt adventure that will leave them longing for more.

I had a hard time getting through this book. There was quite a bit of purple prose throughout and I couldn’t get into it.
That being said, I think anyone who likes fantasy, especially teens, may have a lot of fun with this one.

A good read. It's aimed towards teens but I was still sitting on the edge of my seat. Will be reading future sequels.

After a valiant battle, with the metallic menace finally defeated, Azahar faces a greater problem: the barrier that protects the land is weakening, leaving them vulnerable to their enemy.

Dashiel’s wish for excitement becomes a reality when he is recruited to join the Cobalt Phantasms, an elite order that hopes to provide relief to the Zaphyrolean people suffering under a tyrannical rule. Armed with a mythical weapon and a childhood dream, he must leave Azahar and find a way to protect the town he loves on a journey that takes him through a wonderful but dangerous 19th-century world of flourishing machines and dwindling magic.

His new life, however, is threatened by a long-held secret that if shared, will end his adventuring.

Will Dashiel prove to be the hero Azahar needs to overcome their enemies, or will this closely guarded secret destroy his chances to save everything he holds dear?

Review: For the most part I really liked this one! I thought that the magic system was great and it was a fun read. The relationships between the characters was where the story shined and it was so fun to read their dialog. The character development was well done and the world building was phenomenal. The story is also very strong plot wise and I enjoyed the writing.

The only issue I had with the book is that it felt a little unevenly paced in some places in the book, but other than that it was well done!

Verdict: I recommend for the fantasy lovers!

Thank you NetGalley for sending this arc for an honest review!

I’m gonna be honest this book wasn’t exactly my cup of tea. I didn’t enjoy the MC nor his development so I’m not sure why I forcefully made myself finish this book.

A really fun fantasy read! A unique enough magic system and decent world building that kept me interested throughout. While I wished some characters had more time dedicated to them, I didn’t outright dislike any of them. Doizemaster is very competent that I enjoyed quite a bit.

Doizemaster - Phantasm Creed gives a story packed full of magic, the formation of friendships, and a touch of romance.

I really enjoyed the development of budding friendships throughout this book. As the characters navigate magical and fantastical issues, they form strong bonds with one another that felt very genuine and I could feel that real connection. The building and maintenance of these relationships is woven so well throughout the entirety of the story, and was very enjoyable to watch as these characters developed their own family rather organically.

The world building was very well done, and I think Quintana has a real knack for conjuring such vivid imagery into a readers head.

Overall a good read. Thanks NetGalley for a copy.

"... because everyone knew everyone in Azahar"
"Beware those whose entire existence is devoid of purpose ... for they steal innocent lives to get a glimpse of what they lack"
I didn't have any expectations for this book so I came to reading it very open-minded. Truth is , I grew fond to some of these characters even if I felt like sometimes they didn't have enough space for themselves.
I liked the fact that the plot is original in the development of the magical system and the actions is beautifully written.
I was able to explore a new world though the main character's eyes and the wonder that I could see in them all the time.
I'm glad I had the chance to read this story and I feel like from this point it can only grow stronger.
"Kindness and courage have become as important as anything in these times. They hold great power"
"I shall return to you soon, but I will not be the same. This is a promise"
