This is a unique book. Told completely in dialogue form with no quotations or he said/she said, with only italics used to differentiate speakers.

A story about two young girls trying to find themselves. They meet others who tell them their own stories and they learn about things like; social media, screen time, Christianity, drugs and addiction, body image, peer pressure.

It's basically a self-help book for adolescents told in an unusual way.

It’s a story full of emotions shared by two teens and how they consoled and became each other’s support. Author has shared her thoughts in the form of a conversation between these two teens.

"I think we have to get used to beign positive about ourselves."
Nova is a beautifully written book about self-love, self-discovery and inner growth that follows seventeen years old Aurora and Stella.
I liked this book a lot, specially the discussions about social media and positiveness.

I couldn't finish this one. I couldn't get along with the format unfortunately. I'm sure plenty will love this book but it just wasn't right for me.
I did love the concept of it though which is what drew me to it in the first place.

I found the format of this book very confusing to read as it would not tell you who is speaking at once so its confusing to keep track of who is actually speaking and what was going on in the story

I loved this book. It was beautifully written and full of emotions and important life lessons. It talks about all of the challenges young girls have to face growing up and how they overcome them. Both Aurora and Stella are very wise for their age and i enjoyed reading about how they view the world and how connected they are to their surroundings. They are both extremely lovable and strong characters. Amazing book!

Character :
Aurora is the more realistic one between the two of them and is in foster care. She's the first one to introduce themselves to the whole quest idea. Accidentally I might say. Aurora is not boring, she's actually very likable. She's serious but still dreamy to be able to be friends with Stella.

Stella is very cheery and much more funny. I like how her personality balances with Aurora's. She's living with her grandpa. So in that way, Stella and Aurora have one thing in common and that is wanting to know their mother.

Story line :
It is much different than I thought it would be. I thought it's going to be a book about just finding their biological mother but it's much more than that. It talks about other issues that people go through as example self- doubt, kindness, not fitting in and much more. Every topic begins with a story which is a nice touch. Unfortunately, it's quite boring in some chapters to give it a 5 stars.

Overall, I enjoyed it. 4 stars!
