Thank you NetGalley and HQ Books for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was the perfect hallmark-esque Christmas book. The author even references the hallmark movie blueprint several times. Flora is extremely eccentric about Christmas and Connor is the big burly Nordic god who doesn’t believe in the magic of it. Of course they’re perfect for each other. Haha! The story even has the bitter, jealous other girl and hilarious carry banter. But seriously, it was super cute. Definitely cheesy at times, but I really enjoyed it! It’s the perfect Christmas read as it’s super festive!

Gloriously festive and full of sparkle and romance. Be transported to Lapland with Flora and her travelling Christmas Shop. Tired of being dumped and fired, she sets off on an adventure and learns to be true to herself. Setting up her shop at the Christmas market, she has mishaps along the way, and alienates some of the traders simply by being her gloriously eccentric and outspoken self. Clashing with the rule driven market manager, Connor, sparks fly and we can all see where it's heading. Even if she can't.

But self professed Christmas obsessive, can Flora really fall in love with a man who doesn't believe in Christmas? Or love?

Perhaps it will take a Christmas miracle to change his mind... Or making a wish on the Northern Lights perhaps...

Gorgeous. Cosy. Uplifting.

Oh how I love Christmas stories, especially those ones where you can just tell what’s about to happen, you expect it to happen and you absolutely love when it does and Flora’s travelling Christmas Shop is exactly that.

It’s your typical holiday romance. A heroine who’s hopeless about Christmas, she loves everything and everything Christmas and a brooding hero that doesn’t like Christmas at all. There’s some meddling in her behalf, a lot of huffs and puffs on his behalf and boy, I absolutely loved it.

Flora has a bad case of saying something before she thinks and it causes many laughs throughout this book. You just can’t help but laugh at and love her quirkiness.

Connor’s past is heartbreaking, the reason for his lack of holiday spirit just hits you in the gut. That poor man and the stuff he’s been through but throughout the book you see a crack in his armour and it’s a joy to read.

I’m in awe with just how fun and exciting this book was, I don’t care if Christmas is gone I want to read more of these reads.

Flora loves Christmas more than anything else in the world. When she's fired from her job at Deck the Halls Christmas Emporium, she is devastated. But now she has the opportunity to follow her dreams. She heads to Lapland to purchase a camper-van and sell Christmas wares in the camper-van Christmas shop while sipping on hot chocolate. That is until she meets Connor, whom hates Christmas, but makes her heart flutter. Can she convince Connor the joys of Christmas? Or will he stay a scrooge forever?

Gosh, I just loved Flora. She is such a sweet soul obsessed with Christmas. This book gave me major Hallmark movie vibes and I am here for it! I can't wait to dive in the other books in this van life series!

Thanks so NetGalley and HQ for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was very cute and very amusing. I liked the writing styles and it was an easy read. I did find the main character a little hard to like at first but warmed to her by the end. Definitely a nice one for Christmas time.

I’m not exactly sure why, but I just couldn’t warm to main character, Flora, and in turn, her story. I should have liked her as she’s the type of person who puts her own money in the till to help a little girl buy a decoration in memory of her Mum. So I’ve no idea why I didn’t warm to her.
I found myself skipping a few pages here & there as her story didn’t grab hold of my attention. Again, it’s a perfect storyline, especially for Christmas-time, but it just wasn’t for me.

Flora loves Christmas more than anything else in the world, so she’s gutted when her Scrooge-alike boss fires her from Deck the Halls Christmas emporium. But now she finally has a chance to follow her dreams – and what better place to start than the home of Christmas?
Before she can say ‘sleigh bells’, Flora’s on her way to Lapland in a campervan-cum-Christmas-shop. She can’t wait to spend her days drinking hot chocolate and taking reindeer-drawn carriage rides, but something Flora didn’t expect was meeting Connor, a Norse god of a man who makes her heart flutter and snowflakes swirl in her stomach. There’s just one problem: Connor hates Christmas.
Can Flora convince Connor of the joys of Christmas – and will she find a festive romance along the way?

Thank you to Midas for sending me a copy of this book. It was so beautiful.
I am a bit late in posting this review, but this book was a perfect read for December.
It was so warm and festive. The book was cozy and really got me into the festive spirit

🎄 Flora loves Christmas more than anything else in the world. When her boss fires her from Deck the Halls Christmas emporium, she decides to follow her dreams: she books a spot at the Christmas Market in a small town in Lapland, where she'll sell all things Christmassy, from her van.

❤️ I liked:
⛰️ The Christmas market in Lapland. Another Christmas book set in the far North. It's the third I read this year: it must be a sign that I have to go and visit these stunning locations!
🚋 Van Lifers. I loved the concept and the strong sense of community that brings this group of people together.
🎄 Christmas cheer. When Flora meets Connor - a sort of Scrooge that speaks with an Irish accent - she does everything she can to convince him that Christmas is much more than gifts, shopping and spending money. Christmas is joy, is family, is helping others and staying together.

🤔 I wasn't sure about:
The characters. Once again, the characters are a bit too one-dimensional for me.
It's about Van Lifers, but there is no travelling involved whatsoever.

⭐⭐⭐ 3/5 Another cosy Christmassy romance, to read drinking hot chocolate - or mulled wine - and listening to Christmas Carols.

You can’t not read Christmas books in December and this was the perfect book to read the night
before Christmas Eve, snuggled up under a blanket in front of my twinkling Christmas tree & a crackling fire to keep me warm.

This fell good book really hit the Christmas spot & I recommend it to all Hallmark movie lovers .

Just what I needed to get me in the Christmas spirit. A heart warming read that makes you smile and appreciate everything Christmassy.

I wanted to love this book and was hoping to add it to my "12 Books of Christmas" blog post, but unfortunately it just didn't deliver a well-written warm and cozy and Christmasy story. The two main issues I had with this book are one-dimensional characters and relying exclusively on telling vs. showing to develop the story. Dashing through the no on this one.

This was a feel-good Christmas story that had me laughing all the way. Flora is an outspoken, honest, fun person who doesn't thing of the consequences of her actions or words until it is too late. She has a tough time keeping a job because of that and her BFF suggests she become her own boss by buying a van and selling things at the local Christmas markets. Flora follows most of her advice, but ends up booking a spot at the Christmas Market in a small town in Lapland. Flora's idea of reindeer rides and hot chocolate don't quite come true. Connor, the manager of the market is a bit of a Scrooge. He has a thick book full of rules (Flora can't read the language it is printed in) and is constantly trying to put a stop to her plans. Flora sets herself a goal, she is going to get Connor to love Christmas as much as she does.

Flora's Travelling Christmas Shop is wonderful. It is full of humour, has wonderful characters, both you will like and those you will not, and full of Christmas Cheer. I love how Flora is constantly looking for her life to become a Hallmark movie. This book is full of witty dialogue, funny mishaps and friendship. There is romance, but that is not the main part of the story. If you are looking for a story to bring on the Christmas cheer, one to make you smile or laugh out loud and with characters to fall in love with, then pick up Flora's Travelling Christmas Shop, guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Such a lovely festive story, which I really enjoyed. Flora is such a great character - I love her quirkiness and go-get-'em attitude! She doesn't seem to do it deliberately - it just seems to happen to her! Noel sounds adorable and perfect for the job he had to do. And who wouldn't be interested in a Norse god like Connor.....even if he might not of had the right attitude with regards to Christmas initially!

If you would like a lovely festive tale, set in a magical part of the world, at such a wonderful time of the year, with some great characters, I would really recommend this book. You won't regret it!

Thank you to Net Galley and the publishers for allowing me to read this in exchange for an honest review, which is what I have given.

Like me, Flora is obsessed with Christmas! It’s what brings her life joy and meaning, that is until she realises her love of the festive season has also been holding her back. Enter Noel; a four wheeled Christmas tree green campervan. Flora and Noel set of on an adventure that will bring back the sparkle; to Flora and those she meets on the journey.

The book is joyful, the characters adorable, and as it is mentioned once or twice in the book, that Flora’s life could pass for a Hallmark movie. Its a nice romantic story with vivid descriptions of Lapland and the Northern Lights.

“He’s been missing the Christmas spirit. And you don’t find that in shops, you don’t buy it, you can’t gift it.”

As a character, Flora is large hearted and happy go lucky and completely hilarious. Nothing can get her down for too long and she sees the humour in everything. Her reactions are fun and her interactions even funnier.

This book will put a smile on your face. It will leave you feeling warm and happy inside. It is a book to read when you need a pick-me-up or to get you festive ready. So sit by your twinkling tree, with a gingerbread hot chocolate and float off to freezing cold Lapland with Flora and her van.

Flora's travelling christmas shop gave me all the christmas feels. I love books set during christmas season and this one was no exception. It set the mood for this time of the year and it was a really wholesome, cute and great read. The writing of this book flows beautifully. The characters are fleshed and well written and the ending got me a little bit emotional because i didn't want this story to be over. Overall a great read for this time of the year!

This was my first Rebecca Raisin book. And if her other books are like this i have been missing out on future comfort, warm feeling reads.

This book references the well know Hallmark movies and their blueprint, and as such this story does follow that.

Its a light Christmas vibe feel of a book, where we follow flora, after being fired again she decides to pack up and by a campervan and drive to lapland the home of christmas. And in true hallmark, nothing goes to plan, we get the love interest but again its not an instant click, then you get to see her bloom and find a job she loves and enjoys.

This book wont be for everyone especially if you dont like clique books. But i make make this an annual read at Christmas. Having snow, northern lights, christmas, reindeer, oh and bad cooking (thats me right there burning the place down)

Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for proving me with an eARC for an honest review.

People can invariably be arses and Simon undoubtedly fell into this category, whilst Flora unquestionably slotted into the ’better off without him’ league.

Flora is an alliterative breath of fresh festive air; her heart is made of egg nog and she is full of the joys of the festive season. She may be a bit of a Christmasphile (I think I may have made that word up) but really – what’s not to love. She is just kindness personified. Flora’s friend Livvie urges her to be the heroine in her own Hallmark Christmas movie – this seems just the perfect advice for someone who is so crazy about Christmas. Flora’s bubbly, cookie personality is so endearing, verging on contagious. I started to feel myself being drawn into festive activities and I began to wish that I had started reading this book a bit closer to the main festivities, such were the seedlings of festivity that were starting to grow in my belly. Still, there are worse things to have on your mind in October, so I just allowed myself to be drawn into the book. The intelligent writing was such that you get overwhelmed with this compelling need to join in with anything Christmassy, without noticing. By the time you realise, it is a bit of a fait accompli!

One point to note; Flora’s collection of Christmas paraphernalia must have been an awful lot more special than mine, if its sale were to finance buying a camper van! I can’t see my collection of 25 year old angels made in nursery school funding anything! Regardless I found myself fully immersed in Flora’s project. I warmed to her character so unconditionally, to the extent that she felt real to me and I found myself genuinely worrying about her; I became fully invested in wanting her to succeed, and if she found someone worthy of her love in the meantime – all the better.

Courage is the quality that Flora has in buckets and I admired her for that fortitude; the process of selling those belongings that meant most to her, in order to finance a new life was mind blowing and amplified my desire for her not only to succeed with her business, but to find that someone special in her life.

I was intrigued by the thought of a hotel in a grounded Boeing 747 and found myself googling it. just imagine my delight upon finding that this hotel really does exist! A stop off to be added to my bucket list for sure!

Connor was gorgeous character and I found myself liking him immediately, despite his grumpy exterior. I held out great hopes for Flora on a couple of fronts. I wanted van life to be good for her and for her fledgling business to do well. I just adored the idea of a Christmas market in Lapland and I hoped fervently that such a thing exists. (Mental note to self to surf for pictures, if the market exists; it’s at times like these that one rues the lack of pictures in contemporary novels). Equally, I would not be disappointed were something to happen between Flora and Connor; I felt that they could both do with a bit of good fortune on the romantic front - even just a bit of a festive fling would give them both a break!

Their mutual prickliness makes love seem unlikely, but then who ever thought that 2 stickle bricks would nestle together quite so perfectly!? (Please be sympathetic to the age defining comments!) Historically, grumpy men tend to be open to discarding their outer cantankerous layers, giving their surly characters a chance to shine, channelling their exterior gruff Mr Darcy into a far more palatable personality. Indeed Connor showed the beginnings of a sense of humour, with his market ’rule book’.

I do enjoy a bit of mystery and intrigue and there are a whole host of unanswered questions. Will Flora make a success of her shop? Will her relationship with Connor thaw? where does Flora’s future lie and with whom?

In order to find out the answers to these questions and more, you will need to read this thoroughly engaging book for yourself; I cannot imagine that it would fill anyone with anything but joy.
