As you may already know: Juliette Cross is one of my favorite authors. And the Stay a Spell Series are totally awesome. But after reading Witches Get Stitches, I need to wait for nearly a year (you are killing me, Juliette...) for Always Practice Safe Hex.
So, you can imagine me doing a little happy dance when I saw this one on Netgalley! Walking in a Witchy Wonderland are five short stories of the Savoie sisters and their friend JJ. So, I totally loved it! Reading about all of my favorite couples from Wolf Gone Wild, Don't Hex and Drive and Witches Get Stitches. Of course, now I'm extra curious about the Grim's, Henry and Gareth. What is happening between Gareth and Livvy and of course I'm also very curious about Jules.
So I'm eagerly awaiting the next one in the series! Can't wait.
Five out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

This is the witchiest, sexiest, and sweetest book about vampires, werewolves, grims, human love, family, and of course witches that I have ever read. Definitely my favorite about the Savoie Sisters.
A very surprising and unexpected turn about the life of these lovely sisters and their friends' life. I laughed hard, way too much, and enjoyed every single flirting scene recreating it in my mind, I still smile about how hilarious this was; this is definitely a book for this moment and time. It made my life easy when it wasn't I repeat I had so much fun! Can't wait to read the next books by J.C.

Getting an ARC of Walking in a Witchy Wonderland was the push I needed to go back and read Don’t Hex and Drive, which I absolutely loved. This book is definitely not a standalone, with the exception of Jingle Bell Jock. But even then, knowing the characters already really helps the story. Honestly, I view this book as an extended epilogue for characters I already love. I’m not usually a holiday romance fan and it was a little weird to read this book in September but I did really enjoy it.

Bewitch You a Merry Christmas: Evie and Mateo’s nerdiness is still adorable and I loved the subplot with Tia and Marcus! It’s really interesting how Alpha is his own character while still being apart of Mateo. That contrast is especially clear considering we see Nico in this book as well.

Rockin’ Around The Hexmas Tree: This story is purely steam between Isadora and Devraj thanks to a present from one of her sisters. I especially love the scenes where we see the sisters interact and get to feel out the personalities of the ones who don’t have stories yet.

Jingle Bell Jock: This is a full story as opposed to extended epilogues and is the friends-to-lovers tale of our favorites Charlie and JJ. I’ve been rooting for them since the first book and I was so happy when their close friendship moved to something more!

You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grim: Pure tease for hopefully the next book! I’ve been waiting for Gareth and Lavinia since Witches Get Stiches and I’m dying to know more about grims! This was a short introductions into the burning chemistry between Gareth and Lavinia.

Jingle Spells: Just like I’m a sucker for secret/surprise babies, I love baby epilogues when they make sense. A jump in the future and Nico and Violet are babysitting Evie and Mateo’s triplets. This story is just pure fun and adorableness and a glimpse into the futures of the two couples!

Well, this was an interesting bunch of novellas and scenes from the Stay a Spell series for Xmas. I liked Isa and Devraj. There are some interesting things revealed here so if you are a fan of the series you need to read it.

This anthology should probably be read after the previous books so you can dive right in, but as most shorts, you might be able to muddle through. I enjoyed these little dirty stories, all either circling back to established couples or adding more rumors to to-be couples.

While this book says it takes place a #3.5, it really spans a few different timeframes. There are 5 shorts in here of varying length (some really quick, others more full length, some just a taste). If you aren't familiar with the characters, you'll get a crash course in the first story. There are a bunch of sisters and their mates, so buckle up! All of the stories tie together with the general holiday theme, which gives a nice warm feeling. They also have sizzle in the form of smutty goodness. These sisters are definitely not afraid to have some dirty good times.

If you're looking for secrets to be revealed here, there is some behind the scenes stories, but not a lot of really new surprises. I did enjoy the JJ story revealing how they ended up together, but we knew they were a couple from their displays. I can't wait to see which one of the sisters we get to follow in a full book next, and hope we get some resolution for the un-mated sisters.

When Juliette Cross announced the holiday anthology for the Stay a Spell series, I was over the moon! I love the Savoy sisters and the other New Orleans supernaturals, and this was the perfect Christmas gift to the fans. 🥰

Bewitch You a Merry Christmas

I absolutely adore Evie and Mateo, and this story was like a perfect extended epilogue for their book. Every time Mateo and Alpha had a conversation in their head, I couldn't stop smiling. And then the steamy ending had me swooning!

Rockin' Around The Hexmas Tree

Just like Isodora and Devraj's book, their Christmas story turned up the heat!! This one is oh so steamy, with some Savoie sister shenanigans to keep things fun. I love how Juliette Cross has fit this story perfectly in the timeline of her books!

Jingle Bell Jock

This is the perfect friends to lovers story! I'd been rooting for JJ and Charlie throughout this series, and it was wonderful to see how they finally got together.

You're a Mean One, Mr. Grim

What a fantastic teaser for Livvy and Gareth's story! I'm already so hooked on their enemies to lovers relationship, and can't wait to read more of their sizzling chemistry and fiesty competition.

Jingle Spells

Nico and Violet's first babysitting adventures are absolutely adorable! This was a fun story, and such a sweet way to wrap up these short stories.

Thank you Juliette Cross and Netgalley for the eARC in exchange for an honest review. Make sure this one's on your end of the year TBR!!

Leave it to one of my favorite witchy authors to combine two of my favorite holidays into one spectacular book. Not only did Juliette Cross combine both Halloween vibes with Christmas but I got to read more from the Stay A Spell series which I absolutely loved!

The Stay A Spell series has been one of my all time favorite witchy series from the moment I got my hands on the first book & it’s a series that I am constantly recommending to all my reader friends.

In Walking In A Witchy Wonderland not only do we get to hear from some of our favorite characters from the first three books (like Evie & Mateo, Devraj & Isadora) but! We get to hear the story of how two of our favorite secondary characters & close friends of the sisters, finally get together!

If like me, you’re already going through Savoie sister withdrawals, then you NEED to get your hands on Walking In A Witchy Wonderland which is now available!

A great lil something for the upcoming holiday season! A lot of fluff, feels and fan service, (and some missing scenes we've been waiting for, like Charlie and JJ finally getting together) this is a cute short story collection to curl up with come winter.
It was nice to revisit the Savoie sisters and Co, and it especially made me look forward to Livvy's book which I believe is next in line! Also, that brief moment between Jules and Ruben? *chef's kiss* (all pun intended)
I'd definitely recommend reading the main Stay a Spell books first because you'll get much more out of this. There's isn't a whole lot addition in terms of storyline, it's more like a brief window into how the characters are doing and some scenes that were referred to but never shown in the main series, so it'd be difficult to orient yourself without having that knowledge beforehand. However, if you read and liked those, you might want to check this one out!

I received an eARC of this book from the publisher via Netgalley (thank you!) in exchange of an honest opinion.

Walking in a Witchy Wonderland is a Christmas anthology of holiday stories featuring the Savoie sisters and their extended ‘made’ family. I was immediately brought back to the Stay A Spell world and loved every bit of it! I especially loved reading about Charlie and JJ getting their story in Jingle Bell Jock!
This book is full of little glimpses at holidays with the New Orleans witches and even some teasers of what’s to come for these characters. #NetGalley

UM... okay spice. This was a very steamy book. Throw in some werewolves and vampires and count me in!

I definitely recommend reading the others books before this because I didn't and was a little confused at times. But overall, I still really really enjoyed it.

I finished this book super quickly too. It was a bunch of fun and sexy short stories so you could definitely finish at least a couple of them in just one sitting.

I'm so getting in the holiday spirit and this was like two holidays.

5/5

WALKING IN A WITCHY WONDERLAND is a collection of contemporary, erotic, paranormal short stories set in the author’s STAY A SPELL series focusing on the Savoie Sisters of New Orleans in and around the Christmas holidays.

BEWITCH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS focuses on Evie Savoie as she is tasked with reversing a hex placed on Marcus Romano, a human businessman , who caught the ire of the witch next door, a witch whose interest in Marcus goes more than ‘magically deep’. Meanwhile, werewolf Alpha Mateo is hoping for some one on one time with his mate but the celebration for Evie’s twin sisters Clara and Violet is on the schedule, and time with his mate is put on the back burner.

ROCKIN’ AROUND THE HEXMAS TREE focuses on Isadora and her vampire lover Devraj, and a Christmas gift exchange wherein our couple were not the intended recipients of a magical Christmas gift, a gift with the power of sexy lust. As Devraj and Isadora unknowingly take full advantage of the power of the gift, the intended recipients Violet and Nico.

JINGLE BELL JOCK is an MM story line focusing on the unrequited love between human best friends bartender Jeremy ‘JJ’ Breaux, and Event Manager Charlie. A New Year’s Eve party finds Charlie kissing another man, unknowingly breaking the heart of his best friend JJ but JJ is desperate and devises a plan to seduce his best friend, the man with whom he had fallen in love.

YOU’RE A MEAN ON MR. GRIM follows grim reaper Gareth Blackwater and Lavinia Savoie when a advertising competition places our couple in direct competition with one another. Lavinia despises the sullen and quiet grim reaper but Gareth finds himself insanely attraction to our story line heroine. In the end, a three way tie, forces our couple to work together…the story line has yet to be told.

JINGLE SPELLS finds werewolf Nico, and his mate Violet as they are tasked with babysitting Mateo and Evie’s fifteen month old triplets, a task of which they thought were prepared but to their surprise the triplets powers begin to manifest shocking not only Nico and Violet but Mateo and Evie as well. At the end of the day, Violet and Nico look to the future, for a family of their own.

WALKING IN A WITCHY WONDERLAND is a collection of fun, sexy, spirited and tender holiday stories about family and friendships, relationships and love. Gareth and Lavinia’s short story has yet to evolve, while JJ and Charlie act on their attraction to one another

This is the first book I've binged in one day in
MONTHS & I absolutely loved this one! I It was the perfect novella, exactly the light, fluffy, heartwarming, and steamy holiday themed read I was craving! @juliettecrossauthor always hooks me
in with these Stay A Spell books, and this holiday anthology was no different! Ya'll Savoie Sister's fans are gonna love this one!

I don’t do holiday stories. Ever They are always way too sugary and sappy for me, so I avoid them like the plague. And then what happens? One of my favorite authors puts out a holiday collection. *Sigh* Okay, for you Juliette I will take the chance. And….

WooHoo!!! No sugar! No sap! Nope, it’s heat and sass here with the Savoie sisters of New Orleans. Hexes, lust, babies, and dirty tricks made for very entertaining reading especially when it’s with my favorite witches. Between giggles of laughter and panting from the heat, I got to enjoy epilogues of my favorite couples and taste samples of upcoming ones. If only all Christmas books were as good as Walking in a Witchy Wonderland because it certainly did change my Scrooge-y heart.

It was great losing myself in these five fun short stories. They run before, during and after other books in the series so it’s a good thing I am well versed in this series. Some are with established couples while others are oh so delicious possibilities. Hubba-hubba! Take note folks, there are spoilers aplenty if you haven’t read the Stay a Spell series so make sure you are all caught up. Fans of the series are going to LOVE this book.

Stars: 5
I received this book from Netgalley. I was not compensated for the book other than the entertainment it provided. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A compilation of shorts about the Savoie sisters, their (potential) mates, and extended families. These stories are quite insightful about the sisters that don't have their own books yet, and you learn a little more about the lives that the sisters with books are living. It is a quick, fun, and really steamy read that will tide you over until the next 'Stay a Spell' book is out.

Thank you to NetGalley and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for an eARC copy of Walking in a Witchy Wonderland, though this was given to me this review is 100% my feelings.

OK, first off, I'd never read Juliette Cross' Stay a Spell series, I hadn't even heard it before but the cover of Walking in a Witchy Wonderland intrigued me because I love a good Christmas book, while this didn't really hit the Christmas book need on the head it did hit a different niche and that is a sort of family saga type story. Walking in a Witchy Wonderland details different holiday stories set around the Savoie Sisters from the Stay a Spell series. There are 5 different stories set around Evie, Violet, Livvy, Isadora and JJ (a family friend), This story gave me ultimate Off Campus/Briar U by Elle Kennedy vibes, I think it's because it has the same sort of comedic cast of characters. Walking in a Witchy Wonderland fills that itch for interconnected stories that everyone is looking for these days.

Besides the fun cast and interconnecting stories, this novel brought to me something I had never read, supernatural contemporary romance, and it was something I never knew I needed until now. The Savoie sisters in this novel are witches but they interact with werewolves, vampires, grim and much more and it makes for this fun and interesting world where you can just enjoy it and not always be waiting for the impending doom like most supernatural books.

Each story in this little novella follows a different sister, or family friend for a total of 5 stories, each one is unique and showcases a moment in a couples story, each story is also labelled with where it fits in the Stay a Spell series. Overall each story was unique but if I had to say my favourite it would have to be Livvy and Gareth, overall they were the most interesting, maybe because they were the only ones not already in an established relationship, and also they are like the ultimate enemies to lovers, it Livvy and Gareth get a book I will most definitely be picking it up.

Overall, I have no real critiques for this book, it was sweet and smutty (clear descriptions are used so trigger warnings for that!) and just a little snapshot of stories from a series, the novel was unique in that I felt like I could enjoy it without having read the other books and feel it didn't spoil me that much either, it also made me sort of want to pick up the other Stay a Spell books and if Juliette Cross drops a book about Livvy and Gareth I will be snapping that up.

DNF - but this was entirely my fault for not looking closely enough at what it was. I was like oooh, beautiful cover!! And ooooh, title makes me think it’s witchy book meets Christmas, yes please!!! And what I did not realize is it’s book 3.5 in a series I haven’t read. And it’s short stories about those characters. And people love it because yay, seeing the characters you already love again!!! Only - I don’t know them. So it’s a DNF for now but hopefully one to come back to one day after I read the others. Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for the advance reading copy.

This holiday anthology was everything I could have hoped for in the next installment of the Stay a Spell series. I loved getting to go back and visit previous couples, and see what they gang was up to, as well as getting a hint of the next couple in the series. This anthology had everything I've come to love from the previous books with high steam, swoony moments, and pockets of feels. The holiday vibes were impeccable, I cannot wait to reread in December as I anxiously await Livvy and Gareth's book.

This was amazing!!

Quick disclaimer that I went into this book not knowing that it's a series, so I was introduced to these characters for the first time but still ended up adoring ALL of them!!!

I'm pretty sure I'd be even more in love with this book if I read the last 3 but man oh man did I enjoy this!! It's all I want in a magic world filled with romance and sexy times! Also, witches, werewolves, and vampires??? WHY HAVE I NOT READ THIS SERIES YET?! Did I mention the steam? Each mini story had steam for days, I was all here for it, it was never enough!!

I desperately need a full book for JJ and Charlie, right this second. They were my favourtie, I'm so glad there was an MM in this book, it was such a nice surprise and I want to read about them more than four chapters!! I didn't get my fill!

Just go read this series, it's perfect for spooky season!

Thank you to NetGalley and Victory Editing for the earc in return for an honest review.

This book is a holiday anthology in the *Stay A Spell* series. So it would be best to read these books in order and to read this after you've read the first few. This is essentially a small continuation of the characters and couples lives that we've read about in the books already in this series.

Getting a little look into what's been happening with the Savoie sisters as well as their friends and people they know. There are 5 short novellas in this anthology that let us check in with characters and couples we already know, couples we have been wanting to know more about and a new couple who it looks like will get their own book, hopefully next.

I already love this series so reading this and seeing characters that I have grown to love was so much fun. Getting new love interests and seeing how the sisters are doing in their relationships was so much fun. I'm definitely looking forward to the next book now.

Disclosure: I was given an E-arc via NetGalley but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

This was a cute collection of short stories taking place around Christmastime and New Year. Three of the five stories featured Savoie sisters who have already had their happily-ever-after in a full-length book. The stories didn’t have much of a plot, but it didn’t really matter, as we were given hot and steamy glimpses into the sisters’ lives (Evie and Mateo will definitely have their hands full in the future).

Two stories had new romances. JJ and Charlie finally get together after years of being just friends. It’s the story I’ve been looking forward to and it was very satisfying. The best in the collection. Another one gave background to Livia’s feud with ‘that Grim’ we heard about in the previous book. I’m hoping their story will be the focus of the next one.

All in all, a nice collection and worth reading for that JJ and Charlie story alone.
