A short holiday anthology featuring couples in the Stay a Spell series. This cannot be read as a standalone.

I’m not the biggest fan of anthologies, especially when they take place in the middle of a series. The timelines can get a bit confusing for me, particularly when it’s an ongoing series that I cannot binge read. That being said, the set up for Gareth and Livvy’s book is brilliantly done and I cannot wait for these two to fall in love. Gareth is 🥵 We finally find out what image Gareth had telepathically sent to Livvy 😏

There are also some great scenes featuring Henry and Clara as well as Ruben and Jules in Devraj and Isadora’s short story. I’m super pumped for the final 3 couples of this series!

Lastly, it is always great catching up with Alpha 🤣

The Stay A Spell series is my favorite paranormal romance series so I was THRILLED to hear we were getting a holiday anthology with bonus epilogues of some of our favorite couples AND two completely new couples!

This book delivered on every expectation I had and even exceeded it. I looooved seeing more scenes with Evie and Mateo, and Isadora and Devraj. It felt so cozy and comfortable, but also verrrrry hot and steamy. I also really loved the stories from two new couples! One is an m/m romance and the other is an entirely new couple that will be featured in their own book!

I loved every single page and definitely see myself rereading it every Christmas season!

Such a cute and spicy collection of short interconnected stories. I love that it had holiday season vibes and that there was LGBT representation. This is a great holiday season read that would get you out of a slump! I wish one or two of the stories continued on lol

Thank you Netgalley and Juliette Cross for this eARC! As always, all of my opinions are entirely my own. 🤗

This is a bundle of 5 short Christmas stories from the Savoie sisters. Each story has a different sister in the center and it shows how in love they are. We also see some deeper insight into the ones without a mate. It is a fun sweet Christmas read that warms your heart like hot chocolate.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley

This is such a great literary snack from the Stay a Spell world! These holiday stories are full of fun, love and SO much heat!

‘Nothing shook this profound connection, this mating of souls, that bound us together.’

Juliette Cross has given us such a special peek inside the lives of the characters we’ve come to adore. Updates, new love and delicious tension is the perfect addition and everything you need to get through the holiday season!

I received an ARC from NetGalley and the author in exchange for an honest review.

Walking in a Winter Wonderland by Juliette Cross is a delightful selection of short stories from Ms. Cross' Stay a Spell series. The reader gets fun glimpses into the lives of the Savoie sisters and their mates at Christmastime. I enjoyed all the stories in this collection but have to say that Jingle Spells was my favorite. In this story Violet and Nico babysit Evie and Mateo's triplet toddlers. What a fun story! The whole collection is a must-read!

I received an ARC and am happy to provide a honest review.

This collection of short stories is the holiday read you didn’t know you needed. Yes, you will be lost if you don’t start with Juliette Cross’s other three books in the Stay A Spell series. But, if you haven’t read about the family of witches, each finding their true love in magical New Orleans, fall is the perfect time to get to reading ahead of this collection being published on 10/5. Thanks to @netgalley for providing this ARC.

These five sexy stories are signature Cross - sweet, slightly magical, and very sexy. Even when not directly about the other potential romances in upcoming books, the reader gets more glimpses into Livvy, Jules and Clara, and their potential love interests.

It’s hard to pick a favorite story (they are all fabulous!), but I’m a sucker for friends-to-lovers, and Jingle Bell Jock is the story of Charlie and JJ, two friends of the family who happen to be best friends and secretly pining, finally get together. It’s one of the sexiest MM stories I’ve read. Also, I adore Charlie.

This is like settling down with a mug of hot cocoa, catching up on a great epilogue with some of your favorite characters. It’s charming, and it gets me even more excited to see where the series goes (ummm, I really need Clara and Henry’s story like yesterday). Highly recommend to any fans of the series - and if you haven’t read this series and you love paranormal with a lot of spice, put this series at the top of your TBR list!

You know when you love a series so much and you can't wait to see little sneaks of your favorite couples through the rest of the series. Then the author is so kind to write them each a Christmas short and it sets your panties on fire and then melts your heart even more. Yea that's this!

I needed this right now, I needed the familiar comfort and down right just sizzle of my favorite sweethearts. There can never be too much Mateo, Alpha, Dev, and Nico in the world to swoon over how much they love their Savoie sisters.

But wait act now and you will get to see what happened with Livvy that had her so riled up over the Grim. I can not wait to see how her story goes! ANNNNNNNNNND JJ and Charlie - shut the door and tell the kids to go play someplace and enjoy that HEAT. Think my kindle gave me that over heating warning and OMG I was not prepared for their level but I'm here for it now. Should probably go read that part again. Goodness!

Can't wait to see this one on my shelf where it belongs!

I loved this collection of novellas! The Stay a Spell series is one of my favourites, I love all the Savoie sisters and their mates and it was great to see them all again and find out a bit of what they've been up too.

Loved finally seeing Charlie and JJ together! I don't read a lot of MM but I have been waiting for this one; I love them together, and this did not disappoint!.

And of course we get the tease of Gareth and Lavinia! CANN"T WAIT for their story to come out!

If you've read and enjoyed this series so far you should definitely check this out! It was like a warm hug from all our favourite characters, and I am extra hyped for the new stories to come.

Well you all know how I feel about epilogues right? They are a must! I need them to be satisfied with a story.

And this my friends are perfect little holiday epilogues, with a few prologues for couples to come. Oh and Charlie & JJ have their own little story, swoon.

Nico and Violet are still my favorite couple, probably because Violet is kinda bitchy like me.

I can't wait for the next full book in this series. These books always put me in the best mood, they have just the right amount of happy, steam and angst.

“Once your heart found it’s match, home was wherever they were.”

I absolutely loved this Christmas anthology. I couldn’t get enough of it, it was divided in five heartwarming short stories. All filled with fun, sexy and swoon worthy moments. I totally adore the Savoie sisters and all the magical beings in their world. Getting a little extra of their stories felt like getting the icing on the cake or in this case, the star atop the Christmas tree. Also, I’m super intrigued by Livvi’s sneak peak and I’m excited to see where that goes.

“She was in a word, bewitching.”

When I requested this ARC, I wasn't aware that it was a set of short stories set in an established series. Because I haven't read any of the other books and did not know the characters, the stories were a little hard to connect to. That being said, I love books set in New Orleans and loved all the supernatural creatures so it makes me interested in reading the rest of the series. The sex is hot and heavy in this book and not for the faint of heart!

Good god, when you think you can't love the Savoie sisters and extended family more, Juliette writes Christmas short stories that make your heart melt.
This book is like coming home and it was way too short. I NEED MORE OKAY.

My thanks to NetGalley for making an eArc copy of this book available to me.

This selection of novellas make for nice filler pieces to the novels in the series. A couple of them, if read without having first read the novels, would seem to end a bit abruptly. However, fans of the series will definitely want to take this book for a spin.

✨ARC Review✨

The Savoie sisters are back in this cute novella/anthology of five short holiday stories! A perfect fix to quench your thirst of witches, vampires, werewolves, and grims!

What I Loved:
-Evie is back breaking a hex again with Mateo by her side!
-Isadora and Devraj are back and receive quite the ornament from a gift exchange, and Clara seems to be flirting it up with Henry, the grim!
-A long overdue holiday hookup between JJ and Charlie!
-Livvy and Gareth’s story! This one ended on a cliffhanger, which has to mean, their story is coming in a book!
-The last short story I won’t discuss because if you have not read previous books, it would be a spoiler!

This was a fun, quick read with all of my favorite characters! Each of them are extensions of previous characters/books with a few exceptions!

This was such a fun, feel good, set of novellas centered around the Stay A Spell series.

This is filled with hot and spicy looks at my favorite couples. Seeing them in so many different situations was more entertainment than I anticipated. Everything that I loved about each of these characters was amplified and offered as my very own special Christmas gift from the author. More, Mateo? Merry Christmas to me!

Getting to see Charlie and JJ get their happy ever after was awesome as was the prequel to Livvy’s story. I can’t wait to see what is in store for her and the Grim who thinks naughty things...and shares them with her.

The icing on this delicious holiday treat was Violet and Nico’s story. Oh my gosh! My cheeks were sore from smiling and laughing. The fact that it all was wrapped up in something close to Mateo made it all the more hilarious. (Trying not to spoil the fun for you.)

I love the Savoie sisters and their mystical men. Juliette Cross gave us lighthearted looks into the lives of these couples after their Happily Ever Afters and we got a glimpse of Livvy‘s story and hopefully Jules as well. This holiday anthology was a pleasant and sexy romp and I can’t wait to read more!
