Sofia Romano, eldest sister of the tight-knit Romano family, was one to be envied. A posh society darling since birth, proudly sitting atop the highest pedestal.

And she was perfectly content, until now.

It’s the holiday season and she’s left alone, forced to face the cracks in her picture perfect life—the husband who’s never there, the home that’s always empty, and the heart that never had a place in her marriage.

All this culminates when she has a chance encounter with her brother’s new neighbor.

Oh my what a book. In this the heroine is the alpha hole and I loved it. Sofia was an badass main character and I loved her. Eric was such a cutie pie and it we saw how in love he was. The storyline was also the great. I loved the family aspect and how much Sofia’s family meant to her and how Eric respected that. But also fuck Paulo

I enjoyed this book. Although usually not a fan of infidelity in my romance, this was done sensitively and I really enjoyed the family dynamics and the love story building between the central couple. It was steamy and I loved the banter between the characters, as well as the tension between the husband and wife. Great short read. Thanks for the review copy.

This book was an awesome read!! Had drama and sexy times galore with love mixed in. Very engaging characters that have to deal with life and extenuating circumstances which hinder a happy ending.
