This is a short but eye-opening volume. I really enjoyed the facts about plants, as well as the science behind them (even if some of these parts were too technical at times). The idea that plants can’t run away when threatened is pretty obvious and yet, I’d never really thought about it. There are many tidbits of information like that, as well as many completely innovative ideas. My problem with this book is how much it devotes to “how could we be more like plants,” a theory that is too new-agey for me. I also wasn’t a fan of the political content. York Whitaker does a nice job on the audiobook narration.
I chose to listen to this audiobook and all opinions in this review are my own and completely unbiased. Thank you, NetGalley/#Dreamscape Media!

I really enjoyed this look into the world of plants and what we can learn from how they coexist and support each other and impact each other's health. The author goes into how these lessons can be applied to human interaction. Very thought-provoking.

Thank you Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for the eALC in exchange for my honest review.
