Good Morning, Little One: New Mercies and Prayers to Carry You Through the Day is a beautifully illustrated and written book by Amy Kavelaris. Good Morning, Little One: New Mercies and Prayers to Carry You Through the Day is a prayer/poem backed by Biblical Truth geared towards 4 to 8 year-olds. Good Morning, Little One: New Mercies and Prayers to Carry You Through the Day is a sweet, encouraging book that lets kids of all ages know that God is always with them and is listening to them no matter what they go through.

First of all, I loved the illustrations and how they were woven perfectly with each stanza of the book. I loved the reminders of God’s Promises the book addresses no matter what we go through–rain or shine, happy or sad. I loved that Ms. Kavelaris focused on how God carries us through our situations and keeps us safe, not taking things away entirely. I believe that Good Morning, Little One: New Mercies and Prayers to Carry You Through the Day would be a great edition to anyone’s library. It would be perfect for a Christian education setting, Family Devotion time, or a bedtime story for the family. Not only is Good Morning, Little One: New Mercies and Prayers to Carry You Through the Day a good reminder of God’s Promises to children, but it is a good reminder to adults too. I highly recommend Good Morning, Little One: New Mercies and Prayers to Carry You Through the Day by Amy Kavelaris and believe it will be encouragement to all who read it.

I would like to thank NetGalley and the Publisher for the opportunity to read this book. My review is also on Goodreads and my blog, Leslie's Library Escape.

Adults and Children will love this amazing book by Amy Kavelaris. Filled with pastel colors and rhyming phrases, this book will surely lighten up your morning. This book is beautifully designed and has a lot of encouraging words for the little one.

Even though it is targeted for 4-8 years old, I believe this book is also a great reminder for adults dealing with struggles and hopelessness in their life. I would recommend it to be read daily, as it is suitable to read early in the morning or in exchange for a prayer.

Thank you #Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

While I love children's books that will appeal to my granddaughter, I love them even more when they appeal to me, which Good Morning, Little One did! The cover grabbed my attention because of how sweet and endearing the critters look.

The colors the author/illustrator used for the story are warm and inviting. The critters throughout the story are soft, gentle, and inviting to look at. They're so sweet you want to cuddle the page. She did beautiful work.

I loved this story because it's a sweet way to remind little ones about God's love for them! The author speaks directly to a child's heart about God's care for them individually through short poems that they can understand. This is the kind of book that becomes a keepsake and one you and your child will treasure!

Prayer is amazing and awesome, isn’t it? The fact that we can go to God with our pain, fears, and desires. The way we can intercede for and lift others in our lives up to Him. How God sees beyond our words to the heart of the matter and the Holy Spirit intercedes for us. Why not teach your children from young ages the wonderful privilege of prayer?

This is exactly what Amy Kavelaris does in Good Morning, Little One. The illustrations on each page are gorgeous with serene colors and adorable animals that will hold even young children’s interest. They will also have fun making a game out of finding the scripture passage in each illustration.

But the best thing about his book is the message that your child is never alone. That in the sunny days and in the rainy ones, He is there to carry us through each and every one. Good Morning, Little One is a must for every home library and a book that will become a favorite read for both you and your children.

“Good Morning, Little One” is the second children’s book written and illustrated but the talented Amy. It’s full of morning affirmations and beautiful, whimsical illustrations that will capture your child’s attention and remind them that He will carry them through the day and give hope and encouragement that He is holding them throughout the day! I think children need this timely reminder and encouragement that God is carrying us. This book is a great reassurance that God is always near, even when fearful! I loved all the scripture allusions throughout the text and illustrations, and I think it opens up the opportunity for family discussion of our true HOPE and His many promises. I highly recommend this adorable children’s book, and believe it would be the perfect Easter gift this year!

Thank you to the publisher, author, illustrator, and NG for a copy of this e-book in exchange for honest feedback. This beautifully illustrated children's book is a wholesome and clean family-friendly story featuring adorable animal characters. My favorite scene was the beautifully done spring environment with all the animals in the gardening area by the windows. I loved the flowers and painting style. The animal characters do all sorts of cute things like meet for tea, hang out together, snuggle with their families. The message is simple and follows a religious message. I think this is a totally cute book!

Thank you, Tommy Nelson/Thomas Nelson, for the advance reading copy.

At first, I thought "children's books should not be this sad" but I was so wrong! It's not sad. It's beautiful and hopeful. The storybook talks about having faith each day and believing. The illustrations feel out of this world. They are unique and so detailed. Kudos to the artist. You deserve the world.

Amazing storybook. I am so impressed.

This book is just beautiful, from the story line to the illustrations. Every single page is a work of art and would make great nursery/toddler wall art! The story is just as beautiful as the art with its rhyming and cursive font. God is all powerful, protective of his children, and the book does an amazing job at explaining that to kids. I highly recommend this book to all families!
