I am excited to be taking part in the #BooksOnTour #BlogTour for Lesley Sanderson's compelling domestic thriller EVERY LITTLE LIE.

An emotionally charged thriller filled with secrets, lies and deception, EVERY LITTLE LIE is an addictive ride from start to finish and had me turning the pages until I finished the very last page. While the story does feature a missing child at some point, it's not your usual run of the mill missing child story. It is so much more. And as the layers are slowly peeled away all will be revealed.

Anna lives a perfect life with her husband and daughter. She is the local organiser for such events as the school fete, the Neighbourhood Watch committee and everything else that helps keeps their community running safe and secure. Her daughter Evie is the centre of her world and Anna would do anything for her...anything to keep her safe. After all she has been through to have her, she will let nothing harm her. They are a close and happy family.

Evie was two when Anna and Seb met in the park one day, and she knew at once that he was the one for her. Seb adored Evie from the first moment and has always thought of her as his own. And he is all Evie has ever known as a daddy. Just her smile is enough to make his heart melt...and Anna's too as she sees the love between her husband and daughter. Her life is as perfect as she could ever hope to be.

Until the phone calls start...

"You destroyed my life. Now I'm going to destroy yours."

Confused and frightened, Anna dare not think what these threats may mean. She confides in Seb who instantly thinks he know who is behind the calls, believing he is the target of this person's rage. Trying to keep the truth from Anna, he endeavours to get to the truth himself but only ends up digging himself in deeper.

And then Evie starts drawing pictures featuring "a nice lady" who is "following me". Anna looks outside her window and catches a glimpse of a woman with a dark bob sitting in a car outside before driving off. Who is this woman? And what does she want with them? Could her threats be aimed at Seb as he claims? If so, that would indicate he has betrayed her...doesn't it? But then that would be so much better than the real truth, wouldn't it? Surely, this isn't Anna's past catching up with her...is it?

But then when Evie goes missing from their backyard, Anna and Seb are frantic and it is then that both realise that they must come clean about the dark secrets each of them are hiding. But when all is bared, is there any coming back from this? Which of them has the darkest secret of all? And as going to the police isn't an option, the only people Anna and Seb can rely on to fix this and bring Evie home is each other. But...are baring their deepest secrets, are they sure that they can trust each other now?

I thoroughly enjoyed EVERY LITTLE LIE from the very first page till the very last. It was steadily paced and while the plot was predictable and fairly easy to figure out, it is still an addictive and enjoyable read as you race to the conclusion to see how it all ends. It was a quick and easy read, easily devoured in just over five hours.

The story unfolds primarily through Anna and Seb's narratives with a chapter told by Evie with several others devoted to the other player in the story. Told this way, some may find a couple of aspects repetitive but only in the course that it is told from each of the character's perspectives. And slowly but surely, all the secrets and lies come bubbling to the surface and all is finally revealed.

Overall, EVERY LITTLE LIE is a tense and addictive read that is perfect for fans of domestic thrillers.

I would like to thank #LesleySanderson, #NetGalley and #Bookouture for an ARC of #EveryLittleLie in exchange for an honest review.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for this ARC!

I didn't like the ending. It was rushed and some parts of this book are not how reality would be like. I had high expectations about this book, specially because of the TTC subject that hits home but this wasn't what I expected. I did enjoy the beginning and but this book doesn't have a twist or any wow factor. I received a free digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review

I’d like to thank Bookouture and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read ‘Every Little Lie’ by Lesley Sanderson in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Anna has a life many would desire with her handsome husband Seb, a beautiful four-year-old daughter Evie, an enviable position in her community including the organisation of the neighbourhood watch. Yet her life begins to come apart when she receives phone calls from a woman telling her that she’s going to destroy Anna’s life just as she’s destroyed hers. Then she gets reports of an unknown woman loitering outside her house. Could Anna’s life start to unravel and with it the secret she’s been keeping even from Seb?

‘Every Little Lie’ is an enjoyable thriller that’s kept me gripped from page one. There’s lots of intrigue and twists and turns, but the suspense increases as the story progresses and the secrets that Anna and also Seb have kept hidden from each other start to emerge, although I didn’t find it difficult to work them out early on. The chapters alternate between Anna, Seb and Josie and help with the flow of the story by giving more background to the characters. When I got closer to the end the final chapter had a conclusion that was surprising and I hadn’t been expecting and I had to read it twice in case I’d misread. This is the fourth novel I’ve read by this author and think that this is probably one of her best and I’m happy to recommend it.

I really enjoyed this book and finished it quickly as I didn't want to put it down.

The story is based around the disappearance of a little girl, but the secrets and lies behind closed doors are what drives this intriguing, emotionally charged thriller.

The underlying uneasiness is there from the beginning and rapidly builds as the story unfolds.

The characters are well written, especially little Evie. I found it easy to empathise with Anna and, despite her faults and secretiveness, her overwhelming love for Evie shines through.

I did have an idea about what may have happened, but in no way did this spoil my enjoyment of this compelling psychological thriller.

I recommend this and will certainly be looking to read more of Lesley Sanderson's books.

Thanks to publishers Bookouture and Net Galley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

We meet Anna and her husband Seb. Anna seems like the perfect yummy mummy, organising school events and never letting her daughter be bored or unhappyfor one minute.

Anna has a secret though that she doesnt want to come out and as the book unfolds we find out Seb also has one too. The secrets eventually come out with all sorts of consequences.

Anna has a perfect life, she has a husband who adores her, a beautiful and well behaved daughter, Evie, and a lovely house. She is able to work from home, so she can always collect Evie from school. Anna's suffered miscarriages in the past and Evie is her miracle baby. She will do anything to protect her daughter. Seb is running his own business, which seems to be doing well, and he is Evie's stepdad. However, he has been in Evie's life since she was a toddler and he loves her as if she was his own child.
Their peace is shattered when they start receiving menacing and threating phone calls. What's even more peculiar is the fact that the caller is a woman. Soon, the caller is taking more dangerous steps; Evie notices a woman watching her when she is at the school's playground, and neighbours spot a strange car parked on their street. Then, a woman posing to be Evie's aunt unsuccessfully tries to pick her up earlier from school. The trouble is, Evie doesn't have an aunt...
Anna becomes more anxious with every phone call. She also spots the strange woman parked close to their house. Her attempts to confront her go futile, as the woman drives away. One day at the school fair, Anna notices the strange woman arguing with her husband, Seb. Does he know this woman? Why would he know her? Who is she?
It appears that Seb is hiding a secret. However, nothing prepares the reader for the secret that Anna is harbouring... It appears that their marriage is built on lies. When Evie is missing, despite their differences, the couple must pull together to save their daughter's life. Evie is in great danger.
I loved this story, I was hooked from the very first page. Seb's secret was pretty straightforward to work out, however, Anna's left me speechless. I thoroughly recommend this book to anyone who likes a good psychological thriller. You will not be disappointed.

My one goal in life was to be a mother - to have a family - and in my little curly-haired Evie, my husband and I got everything I ever wanted. He and I trusted each other completely. there was only one thing Seb didn't know about me - and if he ever found out, that would be the end of our life together. Then the calls started. "You destroyed my life. Now I'm going to destroy yours." I hoped it was a prank. Then I was terrified that the person who knew my secret had found me.

The past always finds a way to to catch up with you and Anna fears her past is just about to do that. Anna and Seb have a daughter Evie, but Seb is her stepdad. Someone has abducted Evie. Seb and Anna both have secrets.

The story is told from Seb, Anna. Josie and Evie's perspectives. Every character has something to hide. The secrets are gradually revealed. Someone has been watching Seb and Anna. and they're ready to make them pay for every little lie. The pace is slow to begin with but by the middle the pace is steady. I loved the ending to the book.

Every Little Lie kept me on the edge of my seat and guessing until the very end.

I really enjoyed this book. It wasn't a typical story, and I couldn't tell how it was going to end, which was great.

I recommend you stick with this until the end if you enjoy thrillers that keep you guessing.

Revelation after revelation this books keeps you on your toes! I couldn’t put this down. Brilliantly written you can feel the emotions jump off the page at you.

Rarely am I taken back by plots I read, but Every Little Lie has several plot zingers that knocked me aside. At the center is a little girl who is loved, but who is threatening her mother Anna? Seb, the father, has some shady secrets of his own. The big shocker to me came halfway through the book. I actually spoke out loud “No way!” Sanderson had completely turned the story on its axis for me. I read faster to see how it all turned out. Little lies are sometimes harmless, but there are some huge whopping lies in this book. Read it and discover the truth.

The past has a way of catching up with you lies can't stay hidden forever! A picture perfect family but not everything is as it seems.

This one starts a little slow but as the layers are peeled back the pace starts to increase adding to the drama of the story and its dramatic conclusion.

A domestic thriller/drama full of deceit, tense, deception and devastation.

I enjoyed every minute of Every Little Lie, I was drawn in by the story from the beginning, I highly recommend it.

This was just an average thriller for me. One of twists was interesting but the rest just seemed like a normal domestic thriller. I enjoyed it though, just wasn't necessarily a page turner for me

Anna and Seb live a nice life together with their little daughter Evie. Some would say they have the perfect life and they would both do everything they can to keep it that way. Everything seems perfect for the 3 of them however both Anna and Seb have hidden secrets and lies which could destroy their lives forever. Then one day Anna receives a phone call from a woman, one line “you destroyed my life now I’m going to destroy yours”. These words make Anna feel sick to the stomach. Someone knows what she has done. When she confides in Seb he seems to think the threats are aimed at him rather than his wife and that someone knows what he has done.

With these calls and threats becoming more and more regular and a strange woman turning up at Evie’s school soon Anna and Seb both realise they have to come clean to one another but will their relationship be strong enough to survive these secrets and who is holding onto to the darkest of them. Going to the police about their situation isn’t an option; the only people Anna and Seb can rely on to fix this is each other.

I did enjoy every little lie however at times I found the pace was a little slow for my liking and I did think the story line was very predictable all the way through but that being said I still found this book really easy to read and I did enjoy it and I did read it within a day it’s the sort of thriller book you could easily keep up with if you’re trying to fit reading in round a hectic life style 🙂

Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an open and honest review.

I have only two words to say about this book "absolutely brilliant" a fantastic storyline, great author and I couldn't put the book down.

I always know I am going to enjoy books from this author, she never lets me down a fantastic page turner, full of twists and turns I just cannot speak highly enough and the characters were all great.

Thank you to Netgalley and Bookouture for allowing me to read this brilliantly addictive book. Five + stars from me.

Seb hadn't believed in love at first sight until he met Anna. Anna fiercely independent and protective single mom. He was charmed by the baby, Evie. He was there to see her grow, and rarely qualified his title of father with the word 'step'. He loved her as if she were his own.

Anna's perfect life is about to be destroyed when he caught Seb swayed by another woman at the same time Evie get kidnapped.

I was wondering how is this going to end but rather taken aback and a bit disappointed.

My rating : 3.5 ⭐ ❤

Thanks to @netgalley and Bookouture for providing a digital copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
