This is a funny book about a fowl with flatulence. There is not much substance to this book, or literary genius however the kids will love it. Reading books about any body parts or body odor to a group of kindergarteners always gets a laugh. I will be purchasing this book for my children's department.

This book was provided free by NetGalley for an honest review.

This book is sure to make the kids laugh. Poor Tilly the Turkey has some gas that is causing her to fly into the air. The Farmer doesn't want the visiting kids to witness Tilly's toots so he puts her in her pen. Needless to say, the kids have other plans.

This would make a great gag gift for a holiday white elephant! It's very silly and niche but would serve that purpose well! I think kids will laugh so hard when reading and enjoy the tooting Turkey!

I am reviewing this title for NetGalley. This was a funny and charming children’s that readers of any age would enjoy. I work in an elementary school and am often reading to students and looking for new titles to take to school. As cute as this book was, I would not use it at school because of the content. I think it would cause a ton of disruptive giggling and behavior in a classroom that would be hard to bring back under control. That being said, it would be a hoot at a family Thanksgiving celebration or dinner party.
I see there are other titles in this author’s writings that look cute as well. We all need a little laughter in the world we live in today. Thank you.

This book made me laugh. You don't see many books about animals tooting. It's Thanksgiving and Farmer Bo has opened his farm up for the kids to come and see the animals. It is Tilly's favorite day. She loves seeing the kids. Well on her way to the petting area she let out a big toot and flew around the area. Farmer Bo said I can't have a tooting turkey out here around the kids it's back to your coop. Tilly was sad because she was missing out on seeing the kids. Well she felt that same feeling in her stomach again and she let on rip and flying around the coop she went. Tilly heard a giggle. Come to find out the kids loved Tilly the tooting turkey. Farmer Bo let her come back out to the petting area and show her stuff.

So defiantly cute little book about Tilly the Tootling Turkey. The premise is that Tilly starts tooting and she can't participate in the petting zoo day at the farm but the kids end up thinking she is hilarious. Cute book

Thank you NetGalley, and Charlene Mackesy for the digital copy of Tilly the Tooting Turkey. This is my personal review.
This is a great way to get children to understand that TOOTS are a part of life. The book had very good illustrations to go along with the story.
The story being set in a petting zoo was such a cute idea.
This is a book parents will have fun reading to their children.

I read this to my younger nieces and nephews. They are only 4 and 7 years old. But dare I say, the joy that they felt from this book had me in laughter also? This was a delight to read. I love children’s books. I think they bring people together as they definitely bring my little family together too. And I can only imagine the laughter that would come out of other children when this is read out aloud to them. This was really funny and had me a grown woman laughing at the most peculiar times. I cannot wait to continue adding books from this author to my collection. It had us all hooting out in laughter. In the future I will definitely pick up books from this author again. This was perfect and one of the easiest 5 out of 5 stars I’ve given!

First of all, I'd like to thank NetGalley and the publisher for providing me a copy of this book in exchange of an honest review.
Tilly the Tooting Turkey is a picture book about a turkey that can't stop farting.
This is a very funny book that will keep children laughing out loud, and it is a great gift for the Thanksgiving holliday season.

I can well imagine the laughter when this book is read to children. In addition to it being funny, it's also a fun way to show ways to embrace things that otherwise can seem embarrassing.

Note: I voluntarily requested, read, and reviewed this book. Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for sending me a temporary digital advance reading copy/advance review (ARC) galley of this book in exchange for an honest review. As always, my opinions are my own and do not represent my co-host or the podcast. I request, read, and review many books prior to publication to explore possible future guests for the podcast. I wish we could interview the author of every one of these books because I'm so impressed by the creativity, thoughtfulness, and wisdom shared through the temporary books I get through NetGalley. I find the idea of simplifying any book into 1-5 stars to be quite silly and reductionist, so I don't participate in that game and instead, just give five stars to each book.

This book was toooot-ally terriffic. What a pooot! This juicy story had our family flying high! It was so funny, and it will make a fantastic addition to any family's nighttime reading. What's not to love? Thanksgiving - check. Turkeys - check. Animal petting zoo - check. Overexaggerated hilarious bodily functions - check. Chidinma Avugara did a great job creating a fun, light-hearted Thanksgiving-style read that children of any age (infant to elderly) will enjoy.

I'm always looking for new children's books for my school library. The cute cover and silly title made me want to read the story. Tilly's tummy rumbles after eating her favorite nuts. It causes her to toot. Unfortunately, this means she will miss being in farmer Bo's Thanksgiving petting zoo. It is her favorite time of year. My students will laugh at a tooting turkey and the illustrations are cute. But I expected there to be a little more to the story, perhaps told in rhyme or even more of a Thanksgiving tie. For younger readers, K to 3rd grade. Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for an temporary ARC ebook in exchange for an honest review.
