I am reviewing a copy of Blessings in Disguise through Books Go Social and Netgalley:

Many Christians today, have there own preconceived ideas of the Lord and how he works. Many tend to think that He should show up and move on their behalf using certain methods, and when He doesn’t do as expected, they become disappointed. These Christians have put God in a box, not realizing that their belief system can cause them to miss out on the blessings that God does indeed have for them.

In Blessings in Disguise Eli shares his personal testimony of how the Lord ministered to him in an unfamiliar and unexpected way, showing readers that God is always working behind the scenes on our behalf, even when we do not or can not see it. In these current times of uncertainty and difficulties. This book reminds us that his ways are higher than our ways and his thoughts are higher than our thoughts.

I give Blessings in Disguise five out of five stars!

Happy Reading!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to read this book.
A beautifully written, and quite intriguing story of how God can work in many different ways.and how all of the ways are HIS ways and HIS plan. This book gives hope for the future, in world where we continue to experience difficult and uncertain times. This is a must read for every believer in Christ and moreso for those seeking a relationship with Him,
"Blessings in Disguise" offers a solid reminder that when things do not look like they are going to work out favorably, God has it all figured out and will provide what we need in HIs way and in HIs time. God is a God of giving the gift of unexpected, awe inspired answers, and "catches" us when we need it the most. I really enjoyed reading this and would highly recommend turning the pages of this book and being in the "moment" with it. .

A Story About God for You
Christian author Eli K. Anyadi who was born in Ghana but lives in the United States presents his book "Blessings in Disguise. The journey of two souls and how they both heal together in the most unusual way" which was published by BooksGoSocial. It is a short book, introduced and finished up with biblical basis, but the main part is the story of two people, Kwami, a Ghanian student who is challenged to find the funds necessary to live two years in the United states and Bailey, a four-year-old girl, whose parents seek help for her since she is dealing with crippling fears. They meet at the swimming school where Kwami is working.
In the preface the author reminds the readers: " In these difficult and uncertain times, we need to be reminded of how much God cares and hasn’t given up on us, and I see no better way to do that than to share a story that reflects this truth". He furthermore states: "The events in this book are based on true circumstances and will inspire and encourage you no matter where you are in life. They will also challenge your perspective on what you have always thought God’s blessings looked like. Like what my father’s stories did for me over the years, I am hopeful the story you are about to read may for many years serve as a reminder that God still has a plan to bless and deliver you, even if it doesn’t look like it."#
There are question left open in the story, especially while Kwami could not continue in his first job off-campus because he was not eligible for employment in the USA, but then manages to get a second job at a swimming school off-campus or the fact of the root of Bailey's fears. I recommend the book for readers who want to have a clean story about how God teaches people his ways.
The complimentary copy of this book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley free of charge. I was under no obligation to offer a positive review. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
