Veil by Dylan Farrow is the sequel to Hush, which came out a couple of years ago. This book continues the story of Shae, a teenage girl who discovers she has powers. I don't want to spoil the first book for people who haven't read it, but I thought that the sequel was pretty good and built on the plot of the first book. I think Farrow's writing was more confident and the characters were more realistic and relatable than in the first novel.

I thought this book was well written and the plot was interesting. I'm excited to see what she writes about next!

I absolutely loved the first book of this series so I could not wait for the second. It did not disappoint! It was very good so much so that I finished it in one afternoon. Great read highly recommend!
