Even 20 years later, Afghanistan is still a topic we need to understand. This is an excellent addition to the study of what went on during the war on terror.

Disruption was a fascinating tale of counter terrorism from the time that the concept was taking center stage on the globe. Peritz did a wonderful job of crafting a narrative but not leaving out the details of the events. I would highly recommend this high stakes, true story thriller!

this was a really interesting nonfiction book, i was invested in reading this from beginning to end. It was well written and seemed like it was well researched.

I'm sorry, but I just could not finish this book. I made it through the first twenty-five percent of it, before finally having to call it quits. Way, way too many obscure and disconnected threads to follow, with an unending series of characters introduced. Perhaps the author pulled it all together later in the book, but to me it seems like a waste of time.
