Wrong For Him is another book in the Love Lottery series and it does not disappoint. Teague and Amelia have been best friends and family for many years and their relationship has been solid for years, but Amelia has harbored a secret crush on him forever. They are forced to move in together temporarily and sparks fly in this best friends to lovers story.

The characters are just so sweet and lovable, and their chemistry is so strong. It was a great book and a fitting end to the series.

Trigger warning - there are a couple of scenes of trauma flashbacks and a real open and honest portrayal of panic attacks.

So Amelia has been in love with Teague all of her life, but Teague has never seen her as anything but Alex's little sister, and extension of his. He is so close to her that he has lived on her stayed on her couch, the four friends, Amelia, Alex, Teague and Everleigh, buy a lottery ticket since they were all down on their luck and this was their Christmas present to each other and they won and this saves them since they were each out of a job. Amelia is happy and not so happy since that means she will have to see Teague every day and now she will never get over her crush. Unfortunately, since both Everleigh and her brother Alex have fallen in love Amelia and Teague have to share an apartment since it is the only place left to share that is not rentable for income, however this comes with a whole new set of issues! Teague cannot explain what the heck is going on, he is seeing Amelia in a whole new light, he has never been attracted to Amelia but now, he is seeing her as a women and not as a little sister, and while he always saw her as off-limits he just can't help himself, but he has to make sure that Alex, never ever finds out.. Yeah that is going to happen. I have to say that I didn't like how they handled that situation, when it blew up.

Finally got around to reading this book and I thought it was such a great read. This author is new to me and I will definitely have to check out her other books. Teague's and Amelia's story takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions in the best way possible and if you love the best friend's brother trope then this is for you! I loved seeing how their friendship slowly became into something more and overall this was very well written and I loved this book!

Wrong for Him by Christi Barth is a sweet romance that will capture your heart from start to finish. Wrong for Him is the 3rd installment in Barth’s Love Lottery series, but can definitely be read as a standalone. After you read this one though you will want to read the first two. Barth really knows how to weave a story that you will instantly fall in love with. Amelia has been crushing on Teague, her brother’s best friend, for as long as she can remember. Teague is finally home after many years away serving for the US military. After Amelia’s brother, Alex, wins an inn in a lottery and the three of them and Amelia’s best friend, Everleigh, find themselves without jobs at the same time, they decide to run the inn together. Amelia and Teague find themselves living in a tiny apartment at the inn together and things start to heat up between them. Can they move past being just friends and will Alex approve of their relationship. I highly recommend this book if you love sweet romances. Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This was my first book in the series. It took me a while to get into the characters, but once I did, I enjoyed it so much. I am going to go back and read the other two books. I absolutely loved the writing style.

This is the 3rd book in this wonderful series by Christie Barth, but each book has its own story and HEA. I have loved this series of 4 friends having a winning lottery ticket, winning an inn, and then realizing they have to completely refurbish it and move to Chesterfield, MD from their home in Pittsburgh. Teague and Amelia are the stars of this book, and this was a great friends to lovers genre….along with Teague being best friends with Alex and Alex being Amelia’s big brother and they have to work to make the inn a success. Lots of angst and sneaking around but when they made it to the end, it was a perfect ending. Great characters all around, and I so enjoyed each story.

Amelia has had a crush on her brothers best friend since she was a teenager. Teague always looked at her as his beat friends lil sister until one night he ran into her half dressed. Bro cose kept making him turn the other way but the pull was too great until the day his bff found out the lie everyone was dancing around him.

I really loved this book! I haven’t read the first two in the series and this one was good entrant I want to go back and read the other two. Teague and Amelia were great friends and this is a story about wanting more, but being afraid of losing what you have in pursuit of something more. I thought it rang pretty true and it was well written. 4.5 stars rounded up to 5.

Teague and Amelia’s relationship is one that should never have happened. Teague is her brother’s best friend and she’s hidden her feelings forever. When they finally realize how the other feels the book just flies. There are many ups and downs, but throughout all there is hope. I really enjoyed this story and can’t wait until Christi’s next book!

Probably my favorite book in the series! I couldn’t wait to read Amelia and Teague’s story, and Ms. Barth didn’t disappoint! With Teague’s background it was easy to understand how he could always expect the worst. But, Amelia gave his beleaguered heart something to yearn for. The relationships between these friends are sometimes to strive for. A wonderful book!

I have read the first two books in the series. I think this one was my favorite. It was well written with great character arcs and deep emotion. The author did a great job of drawing me in and making me root for this couple! I can’t wait for more from this author. Huge thanks to netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read snd review this book!

When Christmas ticket changes 4 lives for the better. In this one, Amelia and Teague found their HEA. It is a typical brother best friend love story when keeping secrets ruins almost everything. A fun flirty love story with a lovely ending from a series.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley

Wrong for Him (Love Lottery Book 3)
By: Christi Barth

📚💕⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💕📚

Totally rooting for these two!

In the third and final book in the Love Lottery series we get Amelia and Teague’s love story. She’s his very best friends littles sister, his business partner and probably one of his truest friends. Can they risk loosing everyone to be together. Can he show her she’s worth the risk or will he sacrifice his true happiness not to hurt those they love. The author writing is flawless, and the words are so captivating, the plot had so many twists and turns and none that I was expecting, and many shockingly intimate I have become a huge fan of this author. The author writes with so much intensity and emotion pulled from each book it’s felt page after page. Some are quick witted story lines are so perfect and lets you believe you have a front row seat. So being able to read this love story didn’t disappoint. The authors ability to have two separate individuals struggling in their everyday life and try to navigate someone else’s thoughts, needs and desires was intense and gives all the fills.

Authors blurb: Amelia Kirkland’s been head-over-heels for Teague Sullivan forever. Not that she’s ever let him know as her brother’s best friend, he’s officially off-limits. That’s even more true once they become partners in rehabbing a historic inn. She can’t risk what she’s building with her brother and her friends just to fulfill a lifelong crush. Can she?

When Teague left the Special Forces, he didn’t know what would come next. Until his best friend, Alex, won an inn as a lottery prize and made him a partner. It’s his shot at getting everything he’s always wanted. Except for Alex’s beautiful sister. Amelia’s friendship was a lifeline while he was deployed, but that’s a line he can’t cross. He owes his friend too much to betray his trust. Now, though? Working and living with her every day? He wants more.

If their secret romance is discovered, it could ruin everything before the inn has a chance. But does their one shot at happiness require them to break all the rules?

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Thanks Netgally for letting me read and review.📚💕

Beasties running an inn. The last ones single, Amelia and Teague. Teague is her brothers best friend and you don’t cross that line; except they do. With feelings of guilt about their decision to be intimate, Teague backs away and really makes Amelia mad! What does he have to do to win Amelia back? And that bro code? Loved seeing how these couples worked the Inn and their friendships.

I was equally excited and afraid to read this book. There was a lot of potential in the first book in the series, but it missed the mark–not by much though. This one could have gone either way. But this time, the author offered a story close to perfection.

I wasn’t a big fan of how fast the feelings between Amelia and Teague evolved–it felt like a chapter or two were missing to have a more natural evolution. But the characters themselves, and the way they express their feelings… THAT I loved very much. Even their friendship before they become a couple was absolutely adorable. I loved that they had a deep connection that was just slightly different than between siblings, just enough to blur the line.

Teague’s story was heartbreaking. We learn bit by bit what his childhood was like, and how he felt during his time in Special forces. Compared to how he acts with his friends, it made him a very interesting character. I feel like he didn’t get a full closure, though. As for Amelia, she’s the baby who’s growing up. But she too has some past trauma.

What I enjoyed the most? The writing. The various images, inspired by Amelia’s passion for plants and Teague’s past in the army, created a colorful picture of their story–a word fabric, if you will, of interwoven metaphors. The content was a strong as the form though, and there were several beautiful scenes, not only between Amelia and Teague, but also between them and their close friends.

Strong emotions, well defined characters, and a compelling writing style–as I said, close to perfection.

It's no secret that I love the friends-to-lovers trope as much as I adore the best-friends-sister trope. And when it's a mashup of the two? I'm in bliss. I didn't really know what to expect when I picked this ARC up, especially since I hadn't read the first two books of the series. However, what I found was a super fun, funny, and romantic read that I polished off in a less than a day.

Amelia and Teague have known each other since she was small and he started coming over to spend time with his best friend Alex's family. Over the years, they've grown as close as brother and sister, and then even closer when Teague was overseas serving in Special Forces. Amelia wrote constantly and sent care packages that helped Teague through some dark days.

After Teague leaves the military and returns home, he becomes a unit with Alex, Amelia, and Amelia's best friend Everleigh. A spur of the moment Christmas lottery ticket purchase wins the four of them an inn located in Maryland. The four, who were each in the middle of some pretty big life changes, relocate from Pittsburgh to the small Maryland town to see if they can make it go of it.

Presumably the first two novels were spent on Alex's and then Ever's stories. This novel picks up several months in when Amelia moves into a room at the inn as Teague's roommate. Amelia has been crushing on Teague for years; Teague's interest is a little newer. Neither made a move earlier because of the guy BFF bro code. Eventually, they get together, keeping it a secret from Alex, of course.

Deep down, another wrench in the works is Teague feeling that he isn't good enough for Amelia (thanks, crappy father). For her part, Amelia unwittingly falls back into little-sister mode with Alex, and she needs to learn how to stand on her own two feet. It's hard, given that Alex raised her after their parents' deaths.
Things eventually come to a head in a not unpredictable way. But Amelia and Teague are both just so likeable, I didn't mind.

I loved this book and look forward to reading more from this author.

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion. Thanks!
