I just cannot get enough of the Dark Protectors! This series is absolutely amazing. And this book fits right in. Sam may be my new book boyfriend. He and Honor just smolder....even when she's trying figure out what makes him tick.

There's so much going on in this book...there's Sam and Honor, bear shifters, old enemies, Garrett's search, and catching up with Hope (I am so looking forward to her book!). I was enthralled and completely entertained from the first page until the last.
Highly recommend. I do think you should read the previous books (at least the current story arc) for maximum enjoyment.

Many thanks to the publisher, Kensington/Lyrical Press, and NetGalley for an advance copy of this book. My thoughts and opinions are my own and without bias or favor or expectation.

Another great addition to this series! Sam & Honor have an interesting relationship that makes me smile. She is fierce and handles Sam & the rest of the gang amazingly well. I loved the perfect layering of romance, suspense and action used to create their story. Well done!

The most mysterious Kyllwood brother gets his own book… and it does not disappoint!

I have adored Sam since he was first introduced to the series. He’s the second Kyllwood brother and second in line to lead the Demon Nation, but he’s got secrets, so many secrets. Sam’s recently patched into a shifter motorcycle club with Garrett Kayrs (son of Talen Kayrs), mostly to keep Garrett out of trouble and to drive the club leader, Bear a little (a lot) crazy!

When the development of some temperamental magical powers lands Sam in a human jail being questioned by authorities, he encounters a lovely interrogator with secrets of her own. She’s an enhanced female with some pretty neat mental powers and a complication Sam doesn’t need. He’s conflicted between his protective nature in getting Honor to safety or getting the hell away from her hard and fast!

Honor is a woman with exceptional powers which she has no idea where they came from but she uses them to help bring criminals to justice. Homeland Security has been trying for months to capture a serial arsonist and when they do, Honor discovers her powers of persuasion don’t work on him. And worse, this man “knows” about them. Time to get out of town as fast as she can… but she’s no match for a man with penetrating eyes and a smile just as dangerous.

I absolutely loved Sam and Honor’s story! There’s so much action, suspense and spice! With everything just about to come to a head in this new arc of the Dark Protectors series, it’s been hinted that Sam has a (large) part to play in the final showdown but we haven’t heard much else. Ms. Zanetti has kept it close to the vest… until now. Sam is a complex, complicated character and I love that we finally get to peel back the layers and see to the heart of this loyal brother, uncle and soldier. Honor is a strong heroine and I really enjoyed her character. I thought she and Sam paired great together with lots of chemistry.

What exasperated me about this book was Garrett. This guy….. Someone needs to kick some sense into him. In his quest to find his mate, Garrett takes A LOT of unnecessary risks and those risks have deadly consequences. I hope his book comes out soon because I don’t think he can wait much longer!

I thoroughly enjoyed the story and cannot wait for the next one!

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ out of 5
I’m always eagerly awaiting the next book in this series because I know it will blow my socks off, however the more I read the more scared I get that this series will come to an end and I REALLY don’t want it to. Each and every book keeps me on my toes and provides one heck of a HEA.

Our hero is a vampire-demon hybrid who is experiencing some serious issues which leads to him accidentally blowing up a lot of buildings and attracting the notice of humans. Jump in our heroine sent to interrogate him upon his arrest- and well somehow she ends up being his captive in a motorcycle gang full of grizzly shifters (honestly this is wild but seriously so good).

This series, just WOW! Paranormal romance at its absolute best! The world building is amazing but never overpowering, and the romance is always hawt as heck with alpha heroes but even stronger heroines! This book did not disappoint and I loved both the hero and the heroine! Can’t wait for the next instalment in this series. (For those interested in this book I recommend reading in order and at least starting with Vampire’s Faith).

I have been waiting on this book, since I started the series. Rebecca Zanetti gave the readers what they have been wanting, that is a book that transports the reader into a world of excitement, trouble, adventure and most importantly, love and happily ever after. I couldn't put this book down. I kept saying just one more chapter. When the book came to an end, it was bitter sweet, I didn't want it to end, but love how Zanetti leaves us wanting more. Not only would I recommend this book, I would recommend the series or any series by Rebecca Zanetti.

I really love this series. There was lots of action, suspense, and unexpected twists and turns. My attention was captured from the beginning and I didn't want to put it down. I'm really looking forward to the next book.

DNF at 55%. This one is feeling really heavy on the big fight and light on the romance which is the opposite of what I read PNR for - just not keeping my attention. Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for the advance reading copy.

This series just keeps getting better. I loved Sam and Honor and seeing characters from previous books. Garrets book can't come fast enough.

✨✨✨Thank you to Net Galley for the ARC of this book! ✨✨✨

I’m going to start by saying I think this is seriously underrated PNR series. I haven’t read the whole series yet, but I absolutely plan to. This world is fascinating and I want to learn more!

This book focused on Sam and Honor. Sam is part Demon and Honor is a human working with the Department of Homeland Security because she has certain… gifts. Sam kidnaps her to keep her safe from some very bad and dangerous non-humans that want to use her in a ritual to bring back a dangerous demon.

I need to start the series from the beginning so that I can better understand the world and the prophecies and different warring factions and species. However, I will say Rebecca Zanetti does an excellent job at giving you enough info so that you don’t feel completely lost if you haven’t read every book in this long series.

Things move fast for Sam and Honor, but in a way that makes sense. They are stuck together and going through very intense situations. There is also a fated mates thing happening, so that further intensifies their connection from the beginning.

If you love PNR, but haven’t checked this series out yet, you really should!

I don't know how Rebecca does it but each of these Dark Protector stories is so very different and oh so much fun to read! She is an absolute writing genius and I'm so afraid she'll burn out from writing all the stories in her head. Sam and Honor's book was quite a ride. Their journey to love was packed full of unpredictable action. I don't think there was a quiet moment in this story. It starts with explosions and a kidnapping and ends with a battle. We even get more paranormal creatures in this world that have only been hinted at. I loved every minute of this!

Sam Kyllwood, a vampire-demon hybrid and The Keeper of the Circle, is the ultimate protector, peacekeeper and behind the scenes puppeteer. He is working hard keeping everyone from going ballistic. He has the ear of the Seven, the Demon King and the Realm King. He even became The Keeper to protect his niece Hope from having to hold that office besides being a prophetess and The Lock. He's keeping an eye on his brother in arms Garrett as he's determined to find his mate that he's been dreaming of, while on the back of a motorcycle, They are currently part of the Grizzlies Motorcycle Club, shifter bears. Beau McDumphy, or Bear as he prefers to be called is head of the pack and all the shifters. Unfortunately Sam is also dealing with internal fire that's causing random explosions and unwillingly being dragged into other dimensions. When he meets Dr. Honor McDovall at a DHS interrogation he's forced to kidnap her as he's transferred some of his fire ability to her.

Dr. Honor McDovall is a psychologist who helps DHS with their cases on occasion. She's about to leave on a much needed vacation before starting her own practice and she gets called in on one more interrogation, Sam's. She's a strong psychic with abilities even she doesn't understand. When they meet Sam recognizes her special abilities and his strong draw to her. After Garrett springs him he seeks Honor out and ends up kidnapping her when they're attacked by Kurjans who are collecting gifted women. This begins their adventure filled journey to love. I really enjoyed her strength and determination to escape until she realizes Sam only wants to protect her from a world so much bigger than she ever dreamed of.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Loved it! Just like I knew that I would. Sam and Honor are great together. The action just keeps building and I'm anxious to start reading the next book. It's always so fun to read about all of these people that we've gotten to know and love over so many books. Keep them coming!

In Immortal's Honor, Rebecca Zanetti continues her Dark Protectors series with #14, focusing on Vampire-Demon Sam Kyllwood and the escalating war against the Kurjans. Excellent character development, well-plotted and thrilling action and fight scenes, and steamy, emotional, and sexy romance drew me in from the first suspense-filled moment until the last page, leaving me excited for the next book. Zanetti’s description and worldbuilding are vivid, making you feel like you are right there at the heart of the action. Her characters are complex, well-developed, and evolve organically with the story. Although the romance elements stand alone and Zanneti fills in the blanks with necessary background information without slowing down the pacing, Immortal’s Honor is a better read if you have at least read the later novels in the series from Vampire’s Faith forward.

Sam becomes the Keeper of the Circle—a position crucial to the war— to protect his niece Hope and his younger brother, destined to fight to the death in the circle. Unfortunately, being Keeper complicates his life even more than expected. When the novel opens, Sam and his best friend Garrett Kayrs are Grizzlies Motorcycle Club members. Sam struggles to gain control of his new, unexpected, and dangerous powers to start fires and involuntarily shift between worlds because he is the Keeper. Brought in to interrogate Sam after his apprehension at the scene of a fire as an arson suspect, Honor McDoval is one of Homeland Security’s best interrogators. Honor is a talented, trained psychologist with mystical gifts that help her read people and sense danger. During Sam’s interrogation, Honor senses Sam possesses supernatural powers even more incredible than her own, and he may not even be human. Honor’s and Sam’s connection is immediate and intense, surprising both. Honor’s a terrific match for Sam. She’s just as stubborn and strong-willed, she stands up to him, and because of her training, she can hold her own in a fight/battle and look out for herself. She ends up on the Kurjans' radar with Sam. I love seeing their relationship evolve in different settings—motorcycle ride, fighting together.

Immortal’s Honor’s supporting characters are intriguing and entertaining. Scenes focusing on Garrett’s search for his mate and interactions between Garrett, Sam, Honor, and the Grizzlies are sweet and hilarious, offering a nice balance to the novel’s emotional, intense, and darker moments.

Full of suspense, twists, thrilling action, magic, humor, and steamy, emotional, sexy romance, Immortal’s Honor is an exciting paranormal romance about belonging, family, and love highly recommended for fans of the series and suspenseful paranormal romance.

Vampire-Demon Sam Kyllwood is The Keeper, part of the secret ritual to banish the evil Ulrich forever. Since the ritual which made him The Keeper Sam has been plagued by uncontrollable fire and being dragged into other realms by vicious creatures.

Honor McDovall doesn't realise she's an Enhanced human, she just knows she has a special sense about when someone is lying, a skill that she uses in her job as an interrogator with Homeland Security. When a suspected arsonist/terrorist is apprehended Honor is brought in but finds herself in over her head.

I have loved this series but honestly, enough is enough. There is so much infilling of back story and re-introducing previous couples plus furtherance of the overarching plot that the romance is pretty superficial. And that's the real problem, PNR really relies on the reader (well me) investing in the powerful feelings overcoming reason and honestly I didn't feel it. Also, not only did we have the trope of exerting dominance through doggie-style sex and hair-pulling, but also the dominance and physically hurting the woman (oh, yeah, hurts so good). I am just not comfortable with that any more, even in fiction. I truly hope that the next book has a woman who doesn't accept any of that macho BS and literally bitch slaps Garrett (or whoever) into next week when he tries it.

What I want, what I realy, really want (hello, Spice Girls) is a book that drives the overarching plot forwards, maybe Honor finds out about Drake and Paxton' extra-curriculur activities, maybe another male also comes onto the scene (a prophet?) just something other than couple #99 having marginally abusive sex and blowing things up and the plot advancing by miniscule degrees.

I received a free copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

Somehow I've only read Demon's Mercy and Rebel's Karma in this series. Usually jumping into the middle of a series is a problem but with these books not having read the previous ones wasn't an issue. I've enjoyed those two books and Immortal's Honor even without all the back story. I do think I'd really enjoy going back and catching up on the previous books. The previous characters are so entertaining when we see short scenes with them, I'd like to read their stories too.

As a motorcycle rider myself, I was a sucker for Sam. Though he's a member of a club and rides, this isn't a biker book per se. It was a fun addition to his character and the story though. Honor is so intriguing and great to get to know. Thrown completely off by Sam and his world of shifters and other immortals, Honor adjusts amazing well to her new knowledge of the world after fighting like crazy initially. She pegs Sam as a good guy immediately though he's quick to argue with her and because she reads him well they quickly find themselves drawn to each other. As Sam tries to figure out his issues with sliding partially into another dimension and creating fire that can destroy building, Honor is drawn into his life completely including his problems with fire and dimensions. While all this is going on the, the Kurjans are still trying to take down Sam and his fellow Immortals. How can these two ever navigate so many treacherous situations and still find their happily ever after?

There's so much action, such great characters and plenty of action in this story. I liked Sam and Honor a lot and loved seeing them find their way. I'm anxious to see what happens with Garrett.

Thanks to NetGalley, Lyrical Press and the author for the ARC.

I love this world Rebecca has built. Each story just builds on each other and we learn more and more about the characters. When you read Sam's story you get action, love, and lots of WTH moments. You can feel this story is about to come to an all time explosive ending and I can't wait for more and excited for the next adventure.

Keep your Honor
Wow! This book was so fantastic that I needed a minute before I could move on! I love how all the characters are still my favorites! There are some new ones, like calm, powerful Honor who knows how to get to the heart of the matter, and the old ones I know and love, like Sam, that man is blazing hot, Bear, Nessa, Garrett, and the overprotective dragon, just to name a few. The author seamlessly picked up where the last book left off, and thrust me right back into the intensity of the story. I was captivated from the first explosion and even now I can’t want to leave their world behind. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

I loved this book! Sam and Honor are fantastic. Their story is well written with plenty of action, humor, suspense, and romance. I loved Honor. She was awesome and her enhancement was pretty cool. I enjoyed the side storylines as well with Hope and her triangle and Bear and Nessa. I have only read a couple of the books in this series but I found it to be pretty easy to understand the overall story arc. I definitely plan to go back and read the entire series so I can fully enjoy the Dark Protectors World!! And I can't wait to read Garret's story!!

I don't know how it's possible but this story just might be the wildest that I have read in this series !!
Sam and Honor are flaming great main characters. And Honor definitely keeps the reader as well as Sam on their toes.
The action was so well written and always unpredictable. There are other intriguing people in the story that not only include family but also the Bear motorcycle club. And the bad guys? Still colorfully creepy.
I think that even if you've never read any other books in the series it had enough background to be able to enjoy it.
The quick look into "Garrett's Destiny" was interesting and appreciated.

I received an advanced reader copy from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is the 14th book in the Dark Protectors series and it's one of of my favorites so far. It was so much fun to read. The author does a phenomenal job with the world building and character development. I could read this series all day long.

Sam keeps setting off explosions and he can't seem to control them. When he is taken in for questioning, he's questioned by Honor. He knows she is an enhanced female and that she is in danger. When Honor touches him, Sam somehow transfers part of his fire curse to her and that is when things take a drastic turn. Honor doesn’t believe anything until she sees the unbelievable with her own eyes. Lots of things happening in this book. I'm really looking forward to reading more of this series.

Disclosure: I was given an e-ARC via NetGalley but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
