OMG I have a book hangover. I finished this book two days ago and have not been able to get it out of my mind at all. Immortal's Honor was Sam Kyllwood's book. I loved Sam so much and couldn't wait for his story. I feel like Sam always took a backseat to his brothers, Zane, the demon King, and Logan a member of the Seven. It was nice to see him shine and get to know him better. Time is really starting to speed up in this book. 14 books in and I can't get enough of this world. I can't believe that Hope is 18. I love seeing her , Pax and Drake growing up. And with each book the series plot getting more exciting. I have no Idea where Rebecca Zanetti is taking me with this series, but I'm all in.
Sam was sexy, in control, protective, and badass which is typical for Rebecca's heroes, but Sam like all the others was uniquely different and special in his own way. Sam wanted to fix everything for everyone and was under a ton of pressure. Sam became the Keeper of the place were the seven and Ulric will have their final battle. He became said Keeper to help protect his niece Hope. Honor McDovall was a psychologist that helped Homeland security with interrogations. I loved that even though Honor was smart and caring she was also brave, never gave up and kicked ass. She didn't wait for a man to save her she fought with everything she had. Honor and Sam were very cute together. Honor was one lucky girl because Sam was so yummy.

This book really had me guessing. I didn't see the mini show down with Sam and Ulric coming and I was shocked about General Jaydon's evil plan. I'm surprised that Drake didn't kill him. I loved that we got some Talen and Dage time in this book. There was a cute surprise cameo from our favorite drunk dog from another one of Rebecca's awesome series. Because Sam and Garrett are both members of Bear's MC both Bear and Nessa are in this book a lot. Bear and Nessa were so cute and the sweet little news we readers get in this book about them just melted my heart. I also really love Flynn he is so sweet and protective. I really hope Flynn gets a book maybe a novella after Garrett's book. Hope , Pax, and Drake I am so up in the air when it comes to this love Triangle. With Hope's mom and dad I always wanted them together but with Hope at times I want her with Drake then I want her with Pax. The truth is they both keep things from Hope and that bothers me. Also I can't tell if Drake is evil yet or just believes the lies he was told his whole life. I will say I lean a tiny bit more towards Drake. I would love to see the shit that mating would cause. Not to mention it's really hot when Bad guys reform for the love of their life. Also call me crazy but I kinda want Drake and Hope to bring peace to the two nations. Garrett, Garrett, Garrett the man is a hot mess but God I love him. I can't wait for his book. I have wanted it since he was born in book 2. That little sneak peak at the end for Garrett's book has me super excited.

Immortal Honor is Sam’s story and it brings us one step closer to the ultimate showdown between the Seven and Ulrich… although each book is a different couple, this is part of a series with an underlying arc… I highly recommend reading the entire series to get the most enjoyment out of this book!

I hate spoilers, which is why this review will be vague because this book is a Christmas present that you get to slowly unwrap to see what is hiding inside!

Sam is the middle child, Zane his older brother is King of the Demon nation… Logan, his little brother, is one of the Seven and BFF to Garrett Kayrs. Sam is used to managing/taking care of everyone around him… but who takes care of Sam? Honor, good heavens she is strong and smart, she can really hold her own in this book!

Sam and Honor are a fantastic couple and they compliment each other well, that doesn’t mean they won’t have struggles. I was giggling like a school girl during their first few interactions because these two are a hoot! But then… the suspense lights up like a forest fire and Immortal Honor becomes a fast paced, edge of your seat PNR.

The characters in this book/series are fantastic, and we get glimpses of some of our faves from the Dark Protectors… and MAYBE… a secret visit from another FAN FAVORITE (not going give that secret away here). The chemistry is flammable, the world-building is fantastic, the characters are loveable with independent voices and depth, and the storyline will have you flipping the pages so fast that your heart will sink when you get to the last page.

This series is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITES and Rebecca Zanetti is one of my top five all time favorite authors! Immortal Honor knocked it out of the park for me, and I can’t recommend this book or series enough! It is a must read for anyone who loves PNR!

Part of a series than can be read as a standalone, although reading the other books before would help in some of the more minor details of the story that arc through the entire series. A good paranormal romance. A pretty standard "finding his mate" romance, where the female has no idea that she, or her future mate, is special. Good steam, good humorous moments within the dialogue. It was fairly fast paced, sometimes a little too fast. Honor is written as a take charge, skeptical girl who continues to try and escape from her "kidnapper" until they fall in love. There are shifters, vampires and demons. Sam is part of a motorcycle club, things mysteriously blow up around him and Honor, and she has enhanced abilities she isn't even aware of. She's thrust into a world she didn't know existed and has to learn to navigate it. She is smart and strong, sometimes to the point of making choices that aren't well thought out and a little rash. Sam is calm and level headed, even when exasperated and slightly amused by Honor's antics. Other worlds and dimensions are thrown in there, Sam is trying to keep the barrier between them from weakening. A good solid book that is a quick and easy read. Fans of paranormal romance will enjoy.

It is the sign of a truly great writer that no longer how long their series is they still keep you engaged Then you have Rebecca Zanetti she not only keep you engaged but has you enthralled as her series just gets better and better no dying with a whimper from this lady.

This is the story of Sam the one classified as the Keeper the man who is supposed to keep Ulric totally under control with the help of the locks and keys The only thing is Ulric is much more powerful than anyone realises and his minions are demanding his release Meanwhile Sam has his own problems in the shape of Honor the woman that is his if she doesn't kill him before they finally settle down The chemistry between them is of the charts and this woman is as strong as Sam if not stronger but they will be pout to the test before they get a HEA

Grab this book you won't be disappointed but I do recommend that you read the entire series in order

★★★ ½ @RebeccaZanetti.books @NetGalley #ImmortalsHonor

With a cover like this, I know I'm in for a good ride with a bad boy. Ms. Zanetti delivers another hilarious and action-packed book in this much-loved Dark Protectors series. Sam is up to find his fated mate. Sam is one of the "7" and he becomes a special title within the 7 to protect a beloved younger cousin. The problem with this title, "keeper"? It makes his demon rage a bit fiery.

What does Ms. Zanetti do with a sullen and bad boy like Sam? She of course throws at him a spunky, snarky female who keeps him on his toes. Honor is HILARIOUS. She doesn't buy anything he is selling. She protests both verbally and physically... quite violently. The sparks coming off of Sam and Honor literally are fascinating to watch.

What I liked about this story is not just Honor and Sam getting together. We also find out more about Hope and her tug of war between Pax and Drake. For Drake to believe so wholeheartedly that he is on the side of right... even when hundreds of enhanced women are being tortured and blood sacrificed for one person to harvest. How is Drake so blind?

I also want to know how many more secret societies are there in this universe. Is everyone part of a secret society to protect the world? Do they all have a club charter and mission? Why are they all so insistent they are in the right? These "good" guys in their different boys clubs seem to constantly be working against each other accidentally. W.T.H.

Overall, this is an exciting book with Sam and Honor constantly trying to get away from each other, yet being brought back together. This paranormal romance is recommended to readers who enjoy an action-packed romance between a bad boy and kick-butt girl.

Get ready for a book that's a little bit different from all the others...

Immortals Honor is the next book in the Dark Protectors series by Rebecca Zanetti. This time, it follows Sam and Honor, the middle "calm" brother and the eccentric FBI psychiatrist. Some time has passed since the previous book, and this continues the main plot in the new part of the series. Sam is having trouble retaining control of his life and takes Honor on the ride along with him. Together, they discover different aspects of their personalities. Honestly, when I started reading I wanted to put the book down. Not because I did not like it, but because it was so different from the typical Dark Protector books. Here, we have a lot more focus on Sam's emotions and not just Honor's. Real issues are discussed in the novel, not just your usual grab and save the girl. I love all Zanetti's other books, but this one focused heavily on the development of the characters. We also find out more about Sam and his role in the future. And of course we get to see a little bit of other characters and their progress, (Hope, Drake and Pax), which are all going down their separate paths.
The direction Zanetti is going with this series is getting unpredictable and I love and hate it because I want to know who will end up with who, but I am excited with the range of characters there is at the same time. So if you want a sappy romantic story, Immortals Honor is bit different from that. Overall, it's not my favorite book but it definitely should be read as part of the series, because a lot of questions are answered about the future of the series, as well as some major truths coming out in this novel.

On my steaming Honor, this book...heck, this Series...is a must read for all who love fantasy, mixed with steamy romance, mixed with tons of action and adventure!

Sam is nothing short of the stereotypical arrogant alpha male, who meets his match in strong-willed, compassionate Honor. As with all books in this series, the book focuses on the development of their relationship, set in Ms. Zanetti's brilliant imagination, but also contains key facts and activities about the underlying storyline involving Keys, Locks, Keepers... If you are new to it, please go back and start at the beginning...while a lot of books, they are all equally engaging and action filled, and you will not be disappointed! If you've read them all, don't stop now! Sam's character is a bit different that the others - another unique Seven - and you, too, will fall in love with him:-)

The vampires, shifters, witches, demons, continue with thrills, mystery, a shifter motor cycle club, and a good dose of heat! Book 14 in the series, and going strong - can be read stand-alone without a problem, but even more fun if you've followed the characters over time. Can't wait to see Garrett's tale!

Rebecca Zanetti keeps readers on the edge of her seats while making them laugh with Immortal’s Honor.

Sam is a vampire-demon hybrid and middle brother to a king and one of the seven. He’s the keeper, part of something much bigger than himself and yet he’s the calm one of the lot. He’s the keeper of the piece, kind of zen, if there is such a thing in his world. Sam was so much more than what I would have ever guessed him to be. What a hero!!!! And when he fell I loved him that much more!

Honor is the best at what she does yet can’t quite seem to him her place. She had gifts and doesn’t understand them. It’s getting to the point of making her crazy. Yet with the even more crazy things going on in her life, She keeps an open mind and allows herself to become familiar with her gifts. Her job puts her in the line of danger but she may have just run into the most dangerous man she’s ever met. With gifts to rival her own or even maybe exceed some thing about this man stirred all kinds of feelings inside of her, and those feelings are not bad at all.

Rebecca Zanetti amazes me with every book. Immortal’s Honor. Sam and Honor are totally perfect for each other but yet neither one of them can make it easy on the other. They fight themselves just as much as they fight their attraction until neither one of them can hold back. The banter, the back-and-forth with each other and the intense chemistry. Danger, intensity and passion are the name of the game for these two. I really loved the amount of humor that was within the story. With so much going on and things coming from all directions it’s nice to be able to laugh right along with the characters. Ms. Zanetti cleared up some questions for us within the pages of this chapter of the Dark Protectors series and gave us more, firing up this reader to know what’s gonna happen next.

Immortal’s Honor is the seventh book in the continuation of the Dark Protectors series by Rebecca Zanetti (14th book overall). It brings to light new faces from times past and present along with a deeper insight into the history of the Vampire Kurjan war. While some of our favorite characters from the earlier books do make cameos in Immortal’s Honor, the focus is on illuminating a new mythos that began in Vampire's Faith with brand new characters and relationships.

This book focuses on Honor McDovall, an enhanced lady who uses her gift to help homeland security interrogate suspects. She is one of the best consultants in this field. However, she does not fully understand her gifts which are starting to turn on her.

Sam Kyllwood is a highly powerful being who is the mythical keeper of the magical circle tasked with binding the Kurjan leader in another dimension and making sure the barrier holds forever. However, the barrier between the worlds is weakening and he is being pulled through dimensions and setting things ablaze. Despite his brethren's watch over the centuries trying to contain an ancient evil, the endgame is near.

Together, Sam and Honor work with their brethren to save the enhanced female captives captured by the Kurjans while fighting enemies hot on their trail. This book is truly spellbinding. Rebecca Zanetti creates characters with such depth that you just can't help rooting for them.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC

Four and a half
Good golly is this really the fourteenth book in this series ? I'm not quite sure how the author does it but every time I'm hooked by her characters as they battle for love no matter how tricky the situation. We've had Vampires, Demons and Shifters but here we get Sam a hybrid cross of both Vampire and Demon blood and he's always cool, calm, collected and pretty much in control well that is until he meets Honor !
Honor knows her life is at a crossroads and she's about to ditch her cheating fiance, go on a dream trip and finally start her own clinic when low and behold she's actually kidnapped by a crazy biker ! He's bossy, he's gorgeous and he also might literally be the hottest guy that Honor has ever met !
Oo Sam was just so delicious and I think anyone reading about him will be left fanning themselves ! Pairing him with stubborn, curious Honor worked brilliantly to give readers a fun romance that still managed to add something to the overall storyline. The Kurzons are determined to bring back their leader but with not just the mysterious Seven against them but now apparently the Realm, the Demon nation and possibly even some of the Shifters starting to take notice perhaps things will finally come to ahead. Regular readers will enjoy catching up with Hope and her family and as she's reaching adulthood changes are coming but obviously my lips are sealed ! Fun, exciting and action packed this book was a delight to read and with Garretts story next it's all still to play for !
This voluntary take is of a copy I requested from Netgalley and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair

When Rebecca Zanetti brings her vast capability to build a story full of romance, danger, suspense, humor, family, witches, shifters, hybrids, demons, cysts kurjans, heroes and heroines get ready for another great ride in the latest addition to her Dark Protectors series. The latest story brings Sam Kyllwood face to face with Honor McDovall and when you say there is fire between them, that's no mistake. Deep in the Bear nation, Honor meets Sam and the rest shall we say is history. What Honor hasn't faced yet is her mystical gifts that scare the heck out of her for Sam it's falling for her but as Keeper fearing what it would mean for Honor. As always characters from past novels come together and make the family of Dark Protectors all the more delightful to read. Character development is outstanding and now we all must wait for the next episode while loving Immortal's Honor and the best writing yet of Zanetti.

5 stars!

Wow, what a ride! Exciting, dramatic, funny, emotional, sexy and gorgeously romantic, this is a fantastic addition to the Dark Protectors series, and I loved it!

This is the story of Sam Kyllwood, and I have been waiting for this one! A vampire/demon hybrid, and middle brother in between Zane (King of the demon nation), and Logan (member of the Seven), Sam is the planner, the peacekeeper and the one who tries to keep thing calm and controlled in the midst of his chaotic world. The book begins with us learning that, in order to protect his family, Sam went through a torturous ritual to become the ‘Keeper’, tying his destiny to yet another a mysterious ritual that will most likely kill him, his younger brother, best friend, and the rest of the mysterious ‘Seven’, but on the plus side, they’ll take out the baddest of all bad guys while doing it.

But his role in this mysterious series of events is suddenly causing him problems. He has unexpectedly and unintentionally started to set things on fire, blow things up, and parts of him are dropping in and out of alternate realms. It’s trippy (but fun to read about), and lands him in trouble with the human Police.

Honor is a psychologist who is contracted to Homeland Security as a profiler/interrogator. Her skills are helped along by the supernatural abilities which make her an Enhanced female (not that she’s aware of that yet), but when she’s brought in to interrogate Sam, everything is about to change for her. The gorgeous but deadly prisoner kidnaps her and drags her off to a secluded cabin where he proceeds to rock her world by telling her all about who he is, who she is, and her role in a world that she has no knowledge of. He then proceeds to rock her world in other ways, setting up a seriously hot and absolutely gorgeous love story.

Sam and Honor are fantastic together! Honor is a smart and sensible woman, and Sam is honest and trustworthy. Though they get off to a rocky start, they are completely honest with each other, and despite their tenuous situation, the attraction between them develops naturally and easily. I could feel their chemistry, and they are on fire together! The sexy times are seriously hot! But they also share an emotional connection which is beautifully explored, and I loved seeing them come together.

“I’m not the right girl,” she said softly.
He opened his eyelids. “I can’t imagine anybody else being more right.”

As always, there is lots of action with the kurjans and cysts continuing their hunt to collect Enhanced females, and Honor is on their radar. And more than that, they are aware of Sam’s role as the Keeper, and they are also looking to take him out. This all unfolds while Sam and Honor are trying to work out what is going on between them, and Sam wrestles with his own (pardon the pun) demons as he tries to figure out his future, and Honor’s role in it. It’s a rollercoaster of action and excitement, and I couldn’t put it down!

The setting of this book takes us away from the ‘Seven’, who have been the focus of the last few books in the series, and instead is mostly set in the middle of Bear’s compound, which I absolutely loved! There’s lots of Bear and Nessa, lots of Garrett, and we even get to see Flynn, all of whom bring a lot to the story, and I loved seeing them all again. Of course we also get to check in with other members of the Realm, which is always fun, and there’s even a cameo from one of Rebecca’s other series, which was really cleverly thrown in. Hope’s storyline continues to develop - she’s now 18, and I’m dying with curiosity to see where her story is going to go! And Garrett’s storyline leads very nicely in to his own book, which is up next.

There are some surprises and twists in the storyline with this one, which will impact the series to come, and I’m so excited to continue. I love this world, and cannot get enough of these characters, and Sam’s book was everything I was hoping for and more.

Loved it – 5 stars!

Sam and Honor have become one of my favorite couples of the series, and Honor is probably my favorite heroine of the series. She doesn’t have an issue accepting Sam and the new world she’s thrown into, but she also doesn't make things easy for Sam either. Their banter and chemistry is amazing.

Readers get to see more of Drake in this book. I’m still undecided if he's one of the good guys or the bad guys. He straddles the line and it’ll be interesting to see which side he finally falls on, and how that affects the Hope/Pax/Drake storyline, which readers also get to see a little more of in this book.

This is one of the best books in the Dark Protectors series. If you're new to the series, I recommend reading the series starting at Vampire's Faith, the eighth book in the series, as the Ulric storyline started there and has been building up with each book. You might be able to read this as a standalone, but you may feel like you're missing some of the background. They're all good books so it's worth taking the time to read them all.

HoW does she do it with so many books in this series. Each book is fresh, captivating, suspenseful, hot! I love this series so much. Sam had my heart. He was so scared to get the mating mark. Honor was a breath of fresh air. i loved how Hope helped save the day. I can’t wait to read Garrett’s story.

5 burning stars ☆

OK I really don't know where to start: This was an amazing read, each book of the Dark Protectors series is better than the last and this one is no exception.

This is the story of the elusive, calm facade middle Kyllwood brother, Sam, from whom we've glimpsed in the previous books. There was so much more to this character than we've anticipated, however, I was a little curious as to who would be his perfect match and I must say Honor didn't disappoint us. At first, she's like every human who finds out there are other species besides the ones we've known and studied, that immortals exist and they're just another species in the world. Also, she was aware that she was different from everybody else and grew accustomed to using her gifts in a way that she could do some good in the world. Meeting Sam and going through interrogation was just another day for her. Until she started setting things on fire just like the brooding, sexy male that she touched in the interrogation room trying to prevent him from leaving.

From the first moment, Sam knows that Honor is the one for him, however him being part of the ritual that will try to prevent the ultimate evil to return to this world, will keep him apart, until the attraction between them is just too much to look the other way. While exploring said attraction, sheets will burn (as well as a few trees in the vicinity), their attraction will grow, all while Honor finds her path and purpose alongside this strong male, who'll stop at nothing to keep her safe.

I was so excited while reading this book, I just couldn't put it down. Rebecca managed to bring back our favorite grizzlies, especially Bear and Nessa, she also winked at us with a little appearance of a certain british with a dog, a dog with a likeness for alcoholic beverages that will not stop until the last drop is gone. This was an entertaining read, one that kept me on the edge of my seat and left me wanting for Garrett's story, which I can't wait to read next.

***Disclaimer: I’ve applied and received this book as an ARC via NetGalley and this is my honest review***

Great story. Honor and Sam's story. She has abilities to figure out if people are lying. They meet when Sam is arrested and he can tell she's special. He's drawn to her and he kidnaps her. She has a bit of a tough time coming to terms with the immortal world but he helps her figure out her abilities.
Sam is stuck between the realm, the demon nation and the seven. He's stressed and can't control the things happening to him.
We're getting close to the end it feels like in this series. We see Ulric and Hope is now 18 with Drake and Pax starting to vie for her. Not sure who she'll choose. I received an ARC from Netgalley for my review

What a wild ride! Honor is resourceful and fierce. Entering a world with immortals, shifters, witches and more doesn't put her off her game. The whole getting caught between dimensions is freaky. I have to admit I laughed at the side affect of the berries causing Honor to fart. A lot. This is a great read!

Immortal's Honor (Dark Protectors Book 14) Kindle Edition

by Rebecca Zanetti

Thank you to Rebecca Zanetti, the publisher and NetGalley for the complimentary reviewer's copy. I am choosing to leave a fair and honest review.
Ms. Zanetti has an unparelled talent for creating sci-fi romance series that can be read as stand alones. Her heroes are more than just the brooding broken heroes. I first came into contact with her work with Scorpius Syndrome series. That was dark and post-apocalyptic. The Dark Protectors series has a level of humor, sly and otherwise, that breaks up and lifts up what, in far less talented hands, could be the average fate mates/human-immortal mates paranormal novel.
A less talented writer would also not be able to introduce the back story, involving shifters, demons, vampires, dragons, Enhanced women and alternate universes smoothly enough that I was fairly well caught up on what was the ongoing thread through the series. I also had a fair understanding of how the mating processes work in this world.
The world-building was excellent. At times I could feel the bark on the trees and smell the cold of the other realms. Even Kevin Feige (of the MCU) would be jealous.
The characters were deep, yet fun. While, again, I am coming into this series 14 books in, I was able to understand who they were, where they stood and who they belonged to. I loved the Bears and their psyche issues. Honor is not only a psychologist, she is a bit of a psychic (Enhanced is the term used), so she is able to help the shifters get in touch with their feelings. For several of them, the big, lumbering males, it was just adorable.
Love scenes were hot but sweet. It is the action scenes that stand out. Tightly written, exciting and believable.
An excellent book and a series I want to read from beginning to end.
4 stars out of 5

Another great book in the series. Sam Kyllwood meets his match in Honor McDoval, an enhanced female who doesn’t quite understand her abilities. As the Keeper, Sam is tasked with helping the Seven stop Ulric from ever escaping his prison. He’s struggling with issues involving fire and the mating mark even though he believes Honor is his mate. A Cyst general is rounding up enhanced females with his own plan. Good fun reading how Sam and Honor try to understand what was happening between them and trying to thwart Ulric and General Jaylon.
