This was an interesting book. I'm not sure that I enjoy reading billionaire romances though. Audiobook was a decent listening experience

This is a very typical alphahole billionaire romance and sometimes I just need to scratch the itch for that particular trope. Warning: part of a duet and ends on a cliffhanger instead of HEA

Thanks to Dreamscape and NetGalley for the chance to review.

3.5 stars - well-defined main characters and that cliffhanger made me want to pick up the next book to see what happens next, both signs of a good book. I do wish we would've gotten to SEE a bit more of both Marcus' and Emma's backstories, rather than just hearing bits and pieces, as it would've been more impactful. They also both have some annoying and unrealistic traits and behaviors, but, you know, characters in a book and all that. Overall, I enjoyed this more than I expected and I look forward to book #2.

New to me author Anna Zaires pens an emotional and thought provoking story of Marcus and Emma who mistakenly connect and find their expectations for love may be skewed. Rich in content and drama, Sebastian York and Ava Erickson elevated this book to something even greater than it could be on its own. Can't wait to see what happens in the 2nd book of the duet.

Marcus Carelli is a self-made billionaire. At 35, he's ready to settle down with the perfect wife. His list of requirements is less than passionate, but Marcus needs a classy woman, one who will know how to mingle with his wealthy clients. Someone who will understand that his work demands sacrifices and won't badger him about it. What he isn't looking for is Emma. A petite redhead who won't take his orders and will put him in his place every chance she gets. Emma needs a date. A t-shirt short from becoming a self-proclaimed cat lady, she knows her future love life is looking lonely if something doesn't change pronto. Determined to achieve just that, Emma accepts the invitation to a blind date. Except, she mistakes Mark, her date, for the gorgeous yet less than charming Marcus. And so it begins. A case of mistaken identity that quickly becomes an obsession. One bad date, that becomes a few amazing ones. But Emma isn't fooling herself, she knows she is nothing like the wife Marcus is looking for, and falling for him is the worst mistake she could ever make. Wall Street Titan is a sexy start to this duet. Marcus is as alpha as they come and he is set on having Emma for as long as possible. Too bad that may not be forever...

This is my first read by Miss Zaires and it did not disappoint. Cat ladies everywhere should never lose hope! This was such an unlikely pair and I loved it! Marcus comes off a bit rude in the beginning, but redeemed himself. I can't wait for book two!

A cat lady and a hedge fund owner meet in a bar. It sounds like a joke, but it is the premise for Zaires meet ugly love story. It is both ridiculous and fresh, Marcus, the hot shot banker spends the entirety of the novel chasing after Emma, cat-lady and bookstore worker. She is so put out by their differences that she balks at his attentions while dating him. It's awkward and endearing, impossible to look away.

Thank you to NetGallet for the advance copy of this novel in exchange for my honest review.

Total alpha billionaire and a crazy cat lady accidentally get their blind dates mixed and I'm here for all of the opposites-attract shenanigans.

Marcus Carelli is in search of the perfect CEO's wife. Emma Walsh heard good things about an online dating app. But when they accidentally meet, as blind dates go, well.... sparks definitely fly... but, not the right kind. Marcus, knowing he might have been a smidge too much, sends the firey cat lady a peace offering. But that doesn't give him the quiet peace he seeks and soon finds that nothing will.

Marcus and Emma are the perfect opposites-attract in fun, flirty, and sexy proportions.

I have been aware of Anna Zaires for quite some time. And, to most of my Book-Friends, she is a major go-to author. But, I'm a wimp when it comes to dark (dub-con) romances, so when I read that this was a lighter than usual story and the audiobook had Sebastian York, I jumped in with both feet. I absolutely wasn't disappointed. I was seriously caught off guard with the To-Be-Continued (TBC) ending though.

This storyline got me and grabbed my attention. I inhaled the book (or audiobook as it were) in 1 whole smorgasbord session. Like I said, it's fun and flirty. I loved the banter. I love a smart and plucky female lead as well as an equally smart and determined male lead. They played off of each other in a delectable way. Emma sometimes got on my nerves but, growth has to be possible on both sides of the coin (another plus for me).

The narration was spot on for me. The dual POV with narrators Sebastian York and Ava Erickson were just tops. I honestly cannot picture a better voice for an over-the-top -alpha CEO than Sebastian York. Sebastian. He has such a deep gravelly voice that is perfect for Marcus and Ava Erickson has a lofty, flowy voice that really fit Emma's character well. (Plus her male voices were also well done as well).

As I said before, this one does end in a TBC situation, to which I've already binged on Titan's Addiction. There's just so much more going on that, I agree, it needed to be split into two books to do it all justice (Emma has issues to work through). So just be forewarned.

I loved my little peek into Anna Zaires' world and I loved her style of writing. I feel like I might not be such a coward and dip my toe in a bit further. Wish me luck!

Genre: General Fiction (Adult), Romance

Wall Street Titan by Anna Zaires is the first book in the series (duo?) of the same name. This steamy romance is a can't put down (or in my case, can't stop listening to)!

I don't even know where to start! I can't stop thinking about this book. Marcus is a hot, alpha billionaire and Emma is a sweet, cat lady. They have instant chemistry, in such a fun, fiery way!

I loved the story, I loved the characters, I loved all of it! This steamy romance was so much fun! It's a fast paced story with some amazing NSFW scenes.

The narration by Ava Erickson & Sebastian York was insanely good. They brought a lot of heat to this book!

If you are looking for a steamy, billionaire book, I highly recommend reading this book! I will be downloading the sequel because I need to know what happens between Marcus and Emma!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This was steamy while also having an actual plot. I love the enemies to lovers? / billionaire/ can’t stop thinking of you trope. I also really loved the MC which is unusual for me. If you’re looking for a steamy romance this is the one for you.

I received an arc of this audiobook from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I’m not generally a billionaire romance reader but I always love listening to Sebastian York so I figured I would give this new to me author a go.

First off - this book ends in a cliffhanger and not a “happy for now” the story continues in the next book kind but the kind where you have literally no idea what will happen next. Personally I don’t mind that in a set of novellas with a continuous story arc but I was not expecting it in this full length novel so it was a little jarring.

Because it ends in a cliffhanger our hero has some occasional less than likable qualities that are somewhat understandable given his back story and could be learned from and he could be redeemed. Nothing that makes me hate the guy but the appropriate learning to be better arc has not occurred by the time we get to the cliffhanger.

I still enjoyed the ride because I could probably listen to Sebastian York read the phone book and be captivated. Also there was definite chemistry. And cats - 3 Persians. Always love cat lady characters.

If you’re a fan of billionaire romance I say check it out. Especially the audiobook because again - Sebastian York = ❤️‍🔥.

Thanks NetGalley for a copy of this book. I’ve never read Anna Zaire’s books before but will after this.

I really enjoyed this book. Emma works in a bookstore and has come to terms with being a cat lady. Marcus is a self made billionaire. Both, Emma and Marcus, are ready to find the one and turn to different sources for help. However, a case of mistaken identity leads them to each other. The banter that went back and forth was great.I found Emma and her cats hilarious especially when Marcus comes over.

What happens when two people both mistake the other for their first date? Dating apps and/or matchmakers may be the key to getting a date but when Marcus and Emma meet for the first time they were not supposed to be each others date. Sparks were apparent but were they good ones? Marcus is a billionaire hedge fund owner and feels the only thing missing is a wife for social functions. His solution is to hire a matchmaker. Emma has been communicating on a dating app and finally they decide to meet and while waiting for her "date" to show Marcus sits down across from her. It is a case of opposites not attracting or is it. This was a fun and spunky look at how opposites can find a way to coexist and find a way. Will they make it for the long haul?

I really enjoyed this audiobook! I'm a sucker for books with dual points of view and I really liked that there were separate narrators for Marcus and Emma. It made it really easy to follow along! Boy was this book steamy, listen to it at work at your own risk!! Can't wait to read the second book now!!

I can’t bring myself to continue to listen to this audiobook. I absolutely hate Marcus. I thought I would like this because it’s a millionaire romance and I LOVE those. But, I was very wrong. Maybe it’s the audiobook? Who knows. Maybe I’ll try to read it instead someday.

Don't get me wrong, Wall Street Titan was a cute, quick listen. It started off really good, but then I felt like the main characters, Emma and Marcus, really fell into just having tons of sex and it felt like the story dropped off. The story does end in a cliffhanger, which is a bummer, but not the end of the world. Initially, I was really enjoying the story and I think it had a strong start with a fun, interesting storyline. What made me give the book 3-stars, is that I didn't feel anything for the characters. When things fell apart, as they often do in these types of books before they get back together, I just didn't really care. I enjoyed Emma's character and, well, Marcus was pretty one-dimensional and moderately un-likable.

Both narrators did great jobs and brought the characters to life. Overall, like I said earlier, this was a cute, quick listen. I'd be interested in listening to the next book in the series just to see what happens with Marcus and Emma, though I'll be able to sleep just fine not knowing.

Thank you Dreamscape Media, NetGalley, and Anna Zaires for this ARC in return for an unbiased review!

✨✨✨Thank you to NetGalley for this audio ARC! ✨✨✨

I picked this up on a whim. I had never read a book by Anna Zaires before and this one grabbed me. I’m so glad I gave it a chance! This funny, sweet contemporary romance was exactly what I needed.

Marcus and Emma had a funny meet cute and instant chemistry. Almost from the beginning, Marcus was completely gone for Emma, even if he couldn’t admit that to himself. That is one of my favorite types of heroes. 🥰

I also loved Emma and her cats and how she held her ground and didn’t change in order to be with Marcus. I don’t know yet what is going to happen in the rest of the story, but I hope she continues to be herself.

I was disappointed that this is part 1 of their story and we don’t get the HEA in this book, but that’s mostly because now I can hardly wait to start the next book! Thank goodness it’s already out or I would be so upset with that cliffhanger! 😂🤣

I will definitely be reading/listening to the next book very soon and checking out more of this author’s backlist.
