I really enjoyed this audiobook! I'm a sucker for books with dual points of view and I really liked that there were separate narrators for Marcus and Emma. It made it really easy to follow along! Boy was this book steamy, listen to it at work at your own risk!! Can't wait to read the second book now!!

I can’t bring myself to continue to listen to this audiobook. I absolutely hate Marcus. I thought I would like this because it’s a millionaire romance and I LOVE those. But, I was very wrong. Maybe it’s the audiobook? Who knows. Maybe I’ll try to read it instead someday.

Don't get me wrong, Wall Street Titan was a cute, quick listen. It started off really good, but then I felt like the main characters, Emma and Marcus, really fell into just having tons of sex and it felt like the story dropped off. The story does end in a cliffhanger, which is a bummer, but not the end of the world. Initially, I was really enjoying the story and I think it had a strong start with a fun, interesting storyline. What made me give the book 3-stars, is that I didn't feel anything for the characters. When things fell apart, as they often do in these types of books before they get back together, I just didn't really care. I enjoyed Emma's character and, well, Marcus was pretty one-dimensional and moderately un-likable.

Both narrators did great jobs and brought the characters to life. Overall, like I said earlier, this was a cute, quick listen. I'd be interested in listening to the next book in the series just to see what happens with Marcus and Emma, though I'll be able to sleep just fine not knowing.

Thank you Dreamscape Media, NetGalley, and Anna Zaires for this ARC in return for an unbiased review!

✨✨✨Thank you to NetGalley for this audio ARC! ✨✨✨

I picked this up on a whim. I had never read a book by Anna Zaires before and this one grabbed me. I’m so glad I gave it a chance! This funny, sweet contemporary romance was exactly what I needed.

Marcus and Emma had a funny meet cute and instant chemistry. Almost from the beginning, Marcus was completely gone for Emma, even if he couldn’t admit that to himself. That is one of my favorite types of heroes. 🥰

I also loved Emma and her cats and how she held her ground and didn’t change in order to be with Marcus. I don’t know yet what is going to happen in the rest of the story, but I hope she continues to be herself.

I was disappointed that this is part 1 of their story and we don’t get the HEA in this book, but that’s mostly because now I can hardly wait to start the next book! Thank goodness it’s already out or I would be so upset with that cliffhanger! 😂🤣

I will definitely be reading/listening to the next book very soon and checking out more of this author’s backlist.

Steamy romance about opposites attract. Emma is a city girl with a small town persona who’s all about books, family and cats. Marcus is a Titan, wall-street type who is smart, hot and wealthy. The characters are so different you initially question how this will take off, but there’s enough give and take to create the connection. Emma’s got enough toughness to challenge Marcus and he’s got enough humility to not feel threatened about where his attention to Emma is going to take him.

The chemistry of the characters really comes to life through the narration. Since the story is told from both primary characters voices, there’s an added layer of interest: you get an opportunity to see (and hear) each of their thoughts/feelings. It’s nice that Emma is strong minded and doesn't want to be taken care of, emotionally or financially. While Marcus is emotionally vulnerable enough to want to understand where and how this attraction has such a hold on him. This story literally radiates with the heat of new attraction/connection.

4.5 stars, rounded up for the excellent narration. The things I really liked about this book: the first meeting between Marcus and Emma, who are worlds apart; their out-of-the-world chemistry; Emma's ability to stand up for herself, especially on the big things. Marcus was a bit of a jerk, but Emma's resistance made his obnoxiousness palatable. Both Marcus and Emma read like real people. Emma's insecurities about herself, her still figuring out her career...all that felt realistic. Even Marcus' attitude made sense considering his position and personality. I had previously read this book, and it was a 4 star read. Listening to the story really enhanced the experience and made it a 4.5/5 star book.

Twenty-six-year-old bookstore clerk Emma Walsh has it on good authority that she’s a cat lady; she lives in a basement studio apartment, she has 3 cats, she wears second hand clothes, and works as a cashier at a small bookstore. .. At thirty-five, Marcus Carelli has it all: wealth, power, and the kind of looks that leave women breathless; plus, he's a self-made billionaire, heading one of the largest hedge funds on Wall Street and can take down major corporations with a single word. All each is missing is a mate. Emma's not really interested, but agrees to try a dating app; Marcus know what he needs and contracts with a matchmaker aunt of a friend.

The high-end matchmaker sets him up with Emmeline. The dating app sets her up with Mark. Yup, there's a BIG mixup. What chance is there that this relationship will last?

I've already read the second book in the series, and it's just as good. I hope Emma's friend Kendall and Marcus' friend Ashton eventually get a story.

I was able to get this audiobook from NetGalley for an honest review. I liked it. The first half of the book was very good. I love narration and the story was good. The second part was a predictable but a enjoyed the story nonetheless. I didn’t know there was a second book because i went in blind but I’d give it a shot.

YA'LL!! I am not a binge reader. I honestly prefer bouncing from book to book, genre from genre but there was just something about Wall Street Titan that absolutely consumed my soul that I ended up reading both of the books in this series in less than 48 hours!
Marcas is such an arrogant man. In any other book he probably would have pissed me off but there was just something about him that his arrogance truly added to his character and maybe love him that much more for the fact that he was willing to cross any line to claim his woman! He was possessive and caring and understanding and while he did some stupid s*** sometimes I just couldn't ~not~ love him!
Emma was such a sweetheart! She couldn't believe that a literal billionaire would be interested in a woman who was barely making it by working in at a small Bookshop while living in a tiny apartment in New York with her 3 cats! I liked that she stood her ground and while she made some mistakes, she wasn't afraid to admit when she was wrong!
If you need a quick, EXTREMELY steamy duology with an arrogant, sexy AF billionaire and a sweet bookish redhead, take me up on this recommendation! I listened to the audio books on Hoopla and I adored the narrators!!

The only thing that saves this book is some of those scenes were hot and in the climax, she says no to his crazy idea. While there was a lot of action some were so fetishized that I had to stop reading. Looking at the foot fetish scene. It's unbelievable unrealistic like in 48hrs this woman had 12 orgasms and the guy thinks moving in together will help him learn restraint. There's no plot just misunderstanding In the beginning and then just stalking and porn. Stop idealizing relationships like this!

This was my first book by Anna Zaires. It's the first book in the Wall Street Titans Series. Emma & Marcus met through a random case of mistaken identity. Marcus, a self made billionaire, quickly became obsessed Emma, a quirky cat lady who works at a book store. They are an unlikely duo but it works! This book ends in a cliffhanger so be prepared to start book 2 right away! Sebastian York & Ava Erickson do an a great job voicing Marcus & Emma

*millionaire hero
*budget-friendly, independent heroine
*accidental meeting

I really enjoy millionaire romances, so this was right up my alley. While it took me most of the book to really warm up to our hero, Marcus, I instantly liked our bookstore clerk, Emma. They had a not-so-cute-meet when they both show up to a restaurant, thinking they were each others' date. Turns out.. they both had the wrong person but didn't know. Both, while not necessarily liking each other, become unwillingly infatuated.

This was a very fast listen for me, and I thought both narrators did a great job. Marcus' character was portrayed as lacking some emotion (which I thought fit the character great), while Emma was bubbly and sweet. I would recommend this to fellow romance readers like myself, who are looking for something quick.

This is the type of book that you go into knowing what to expect from the trope: it will be a bit shallow with characters that fit the expectations of the trope, but that can part of the fun. Even though there were some fun moments, I still found Marcus to be more shallow and domineering than tolerable (he's jealous of her cats, need I say more?) and Emma went too far on the other extreme: I found her 27 year old cat lady persona hard to relate to (or root for). All that said, there were some entertaining moments, but by the time I got to the cliffhanger came around I was only mildly curious to see what would happen to these two. This book may be appealing to readers who have enjoyed this popular trope before, but on the flip side, it competes with a many other similar books and I would say it falls in the middle of the pack. The audio narration was very good.

I received an audioARC in exchange for an honest review.

I had to take a few days to process this one before I wrote my review. Because it made me angry. I don't normally mind cliff hangers for the most part, but this one definitely annoyed me.

The characters were fine, a bit shallow but fine. The ~spicy~ scenes were great.

I enjoyed the story, but the ending really put me off reading the next one.

The narrators were great.

I really enjoyed this book. It was an easy listen and the narrators did a great job. The story telling is great too, I just wish it was t a series where the next isn’t available!

I know this is not everyone's cup of tea, but I love a good Alpha Billionaire romance, and Anna Zaires did this one so good! What started as an introduction gone wrong, quickly became a steamy story between Marcus and Emma that I couldn't get enough of! I loved the dynamics of the two characters, Marcus being a super rich businessman and Emma being a cat lady who works at a bookstore. But the sparks were undeniable between the two, even if they tried to resist it. What I didn't love about this book was that it ended in a major cliffhanger and it basically requires you to pick up the second book to finish the story (which I have already started). When I received the book from Netgalley, I didn't realize this was a continuing story. I just wish that book duets weren't a thing, and instead were one longer book. Also, I listened to the audio of this book. And while I don't normally have complaints on the narrators, I didn't love these. As a general narrator, it was okay. But looking at the man on the cover of this book, and knowing what I know about him from the story, I didn't think the voice matched him at all and that kind of annoyed me. But, if Billionaire romances are your thing, I highly recommend picking up this one!

I enjoyed the life the narrators brought to this story. The characters were well written.
The love story was a little too insta-love for me even though they supposedly were put off by each other at first.
However, I really enjoyed that the heroine was not your typical beauty but was not written as homely either. She was an average girl that was a little too hard on herself but the hero loved her just the way she was..
I wish I had known ahead of time that this would end on a cliff hanger, but I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected!

3 stars

Wall Street Titan is pretty much your run-of-the-mill alpha hero romance. Marcus, our hero, is a hedge fund billionaire who finds his life turned upside down when he accidentally runs into our heroine Emma, a bookseller with frizzy red hair, three cats, and a whole lot of attitude. Despite the fact that she is not his usual type, she awakens something primal in him and he aggressively pursues her until they fall into bed for an epic weekend of sex only to be driven apart by a silly miscommunication.

I enjoyed Wall Street Titan - it had good smut, the characters had some interesting backstory, and the pacing was fine. However, there were two things that prevented this book from knocking it out of the park for me. The hero constantly blamed the heroine at the end for keeping him from his work despite the fact that he was always the one to initiate their constant tumbles into bed. This didn't make me feel great and could have been mitigated if the book hadn't ended the way it did. Because we end up with Emma breaking up with him (for a pretty valid reason), I wasn't rooting for her to get back together with him. To me, she was completely in the right. Wall Street Titan probably would have worked for me if it had been edited slightly and combined with the second book in the duology.

I'm still on the fence about whether or not I am going to finish the series, but I will definitely take some time to think about it since I did enjoy the book overall.

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for an ARC of this audiobook in exchange for a fair and honest review!
