Mallory did a fantastic job on this book and it almost felt like a conversation between friends. You can truly feel her love for life through the pages. Several sections stood out to me but especially this one.
“I also wrote it to inspire you to choose that bigger life even as you hear your old life constantly calling your name in the distance. And yes, that will happen. Your old life will, at times, seem easier, more comfortable, safer, and familiar, and it may even feel like it’s your true home. But it’s not.”
I’ve been a long time follower of Mallory and I am thankful I was able to read this ARC from NetGalley!

This book will help you live your life fully. Here are my six takeaways.

“There are times in our lives when the unexpected no is the exact right answer.” We do not like the “no”. But this “no” is vital. If we accept it, beyond this door is our “yes” to what life has to offer us, the life we are meant to live.

“Your old life will, at times, seem easier, more comfortable, safer, and familiar, and it may even feel like it’s your true home. But it’s not. You don’t belong there anymore.” We must move out of our comfort zone. That is how we grow and experience the fullness and excitement of life.

“By shifting our focus to what’s going right, we don’t get so stuck on what has gone wrong. And then we can be open to receiving guidance for what is the next right step after any obstacle.” As we celebrate our victories we gain confidence. This confidence propels us forward to even more victories.

“When we’ve detached from our individuality, we’ve lost an important aspect of who we are.” We must live from our true self: the person we are created to be.

“Each time I hear that tiny voice of fear muttering in the background, I act quickly to quiet it so my spirit can speak louder.” I practice centering prayer. This is a form of silent prayer. God prays in me during this time. I then get up from my sit and take action on the Spirit that speaks in me.

“I’ve come to believe there is a river of pure wisdom flowing through all of us. Our job is to acknowledge it, tap into it, and try not to block it.” This river of pure wisdom is God within us. When we tap into this river, nothing can stop us.

Highly recommended.

It took me a while to start this book, because I was so afraid it would be the same as any other about living a full life. I was so wrong!. As I got fully immersed in the book, I got lost in living the stories she shared and found such brilliant insight, ways of seeing things I hadn't quite thought of before that I found myself re-reading and highlighting passages to remember. Or even sharing something with my sister and telling her you must read this book! I loved the book and will return to it again for the great memories and inspiration the author shared. Highly recommend.

To be honest, I had no idea who Mallory Ervin was, but I was interested in the ideas behind this book. As a full-time working mom, I'm always looking for ways to "better" my life. I found the concepts in this book both easy to follow and realistic. Mallory's stories are relatable and uplifting. I will definitely be looking more into Mallory!

This book takes an empathetic approach and gives bite size approaches and allows you to have kindness and patience with yourself when dealing with life. This is so necessary for everyone to read in life. Highly recommend. Especially loved the reflection to true life to humanize my feelings and relate. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I LOVE Mallory so much. She is so real, and I love following her on IG and her podcast. I thought this would be a little more memoir focused, but I loved the messages overall.

I hadn't heard of Mallory prior to requesting this book, however I try to read at least one non-fiction book a month and the description sounded like there would be something I could gain from reading this one. I liked that this book felt more like just a conversation with a friend than somebody telling me I needed to do this, that, and the other in order to have a good life. This book gave practical advice anyone could implement in their lives to improve and better themselves. I'll be adding her podcast to my walk playlist now!

This book is incredible! I could not put it down. Mallory is so down-to-earth and relatable; I loved reading her stories and learning more about her life. I could relate to her on nearly every page, and I found myself often nodding in agreement with her experiences.

Mallory has so much to share with the world, and I am so thankful that I got to read her book earlier than most!

This book is life changing! I didn’t know I needed this until I read it. I could not put it down and would read hours into the night after my toddler went to sleep. Mallory is the sweetest and most real influencer I follow! She is genuine and you can feel her joy through a screen. I would have never known that she struggled through some serious dark times and came out a better version of herself. There is something in this book for everyone! I highly recommend you read this even if you don’t think you need it! It’s so raw and real! Order this books right away!!!!!

This was a book about how sometimes life doesn't go as we imagined it would, but along the way we can still learn and grow and decide to become our best self and live our most vibrant life. A lot of what is written about in this book is Mallory Ervin's personal experiences and how they shaped her to be who she is today. While this certainly isn't everyone's story, it is one that people can turn to when they are at their lowest and know there is a way forward.

I received an ARC from the publisher but this review reflects my own opinion.

Honestly, this book was hard to get into. You may love it if you are a fan of Mallory, but I had never heard of her before reading this book. I felt she talked so much about her and did not have much actual advice to share. What she shared was so common that it didn't feel special or unique.

This book gave some more insight into the author’s life but the messages seemed like the diametrical opposite to what followers see on Mallory’s instagram. The writing was good, but the lessons in the book about living fully with what’s most important and letting go of attachments just did not match up with what I’ve seen for the past 5-6 years on YouTube, Instagram, etc.

Do you ever think that sometimes books find you at exactly the right time and season of your life? I do, and I think that’s exactly what @malloryervin’s book, Living Fully, did.

I’ve loved Mallory ever since seeing her on The Amazing Race. I’ve since come to love following her and her family on Instagram.

This season of life has been one big test after another. It’s come with feelings of anxiousness, not being enough, fear of failure, you name it and I’ve probably felt it. I am proud to say though that I’m taking steps to do what I can to help with my mental health, but it’s not always easy and can take a lot of work. I’m also very thankful for the support I have from family.

But that’s exactly why this book came at just the right time. Mallory talks about her life and how she struggled with the need to always be the best, the pressure she put on herself, and a lot of the similar things I felt. What makes this so much better than someone just telling their story, is that she tells her story and how she’s shifted her thoughts, actions, and perspective. She now lives everyday as fully as possible because she is able to find the joy within, and shows you that you don’t have to have a million followers or the perfect life to do so yourself.

I love when Mallory calls something a hero piece, when her husband Kyle makes the funniest jokes, how she makes a recipe out of what literally seems like nothing, how her life she shares is just that the life they’ve created for themselves, not for the people they show it to on social media. She talks a lot about this in the book and it was so nice to hear this perspective!

Thank you so so much to Convergent Books, @netgalley, and @malloryervin for this ARC and allowing me to be apart of this launch team! This one is out in February but you can preorder it now! 💕

This is a great read for anyone who is looking for a way to change their lives. Mallory helps motivate others to find their true passions. She uses example from her life and experiences to express lessons she's learned and she works to generalize those for others to apply them in their own lives. I enjoyed what I read and think so many people will love this book!

A bit repetitive in sections. Had a weird flow to it. I'm not always a huge fan of memoirs so that might be the reason.

An easy, encouraging read! Mallory openly shares her story with many great insights, thought provoking ideas and interesting stories. I kept wanting to write down her quotes and remember her insightful messages. You’ll feel uplifted, motivated and encouraged after reading this book. Her motto of “living fully” is wonderful and is shared throughout each chapter.

Mallory took a self help. book and turned it into a story about grit, perseverance, dedication, and love. She has truly set the bar to a new level in this genre and set a tone that can inspire and help so many women reading it. I loved all of her personal stories and felt like there was a great balance of advice / help and back stories that kept you wanting to read more. There are some chapters that will have you feeling inspired and motivated to make serious changes in your life, to others that make you want to call your family and tell them how much you love them. She has a talent that is clearly evident within this book and I think it is appropriate for women of all ages and would make a great gift to anyone you love!

Living fully Dare to step into your most vibrant life
By Mallory Ervin

“I’ve lived quite a few Different type of lives in my time on earth so far”
What a great book. Mallory Ervin Tells her story of her many different types of lives she’s lived in an incredible story of vulnerability, passion and humility.
“I took my brokenness to have a breakthrough, I want you to have that breakthrough only without some of the brokenness”
I think what I liked most about this book is that she wrote this book to be a wake up call for others. She went through some big struggles and she’s letting everyone know how she came out of it so that others who are also struggling with similar things can help themselves as well.
“I walked in a lot of shoes on my journey. Some gave me blisters some twisted my ankles, some made me feel taller and more confident, some weighing me down”
She’s an almost winning Miss America, reality TV star and was addicted to prescription stimulants. She gives you steps to overcome some challenges if you’re struggling, and one of the examples is taking action. She isn’t just telling her story she’s letting you in on the ways that you could help yourself as well. She focuses a lot on balance and how to maintain it.
“I’ve also discovered that we are all searching for that comforting feeling of knowing someone else has been steeped in the darkness and found their way back to the light, and back to themselves”
I really enjoyed this book and how she cheers everyone else on in her own recovery.

Mallory Ervin has a very interesting story to tell. She has been (almost) to rock bottom, and has dug herself out of the trenches. In her new book, Living Fully, she holds nothing back, in the hopes of helping others heal and live their biggest life. Whenever someone in the public eye uses their fame to help others, they should be applauded. I hope her book will find the audience that it deserves and that it will help others defy gravity.
