Fantastic historical fiction. The author does a terrific job of fleshing out these historical figures, and making them come alive all over again. Will definitely be searching out more by this author.

This was a really intriguing story with a wonderful historical element. I loved the time period, and found myself drawn into the story!

This is a fine enough book. Well written and fantastically researched, and the narrator is absolutely fantastic. Exactly what I needed after a bad narrating experience. Every character was well acted and wonderfully brought to life. I was less engaged with the story, unfortunately, but it was fine enough. I feel those more interested in medieval and historical literature of this era will find it much more enjoyable, but despite my hopefulness when I chose it, I was never fully won over.
