I was intrigued by the premise, but I struggled to follow the plot and connect with the worldbuilding. The pacing felt off and I eventually drifted away. YA paranormal fans might enjoy it more than I did.

So many important things happen in this book! It picks up right where Fractured Light left off, and takes the story from there! While I loved all of the original characters returning, I also really liked some of the new characters introduced as well. The book was definitely hard to put down, and I loved how unique the premise was! I love a strong female lead and Llona did not disappoint in that regard. Looking forward to other works by Rachel McClellan!

Read 6 years ago - After reviewing my updates on Goodreads, looks like this book pulled me in fast and I loved Christian. However towards the end of the book it look like my anxiety rose and the ending made me pretty mad. Must have been a heck of a cliff hanger! However I can tell I loved this story.
