This was one to review because as a mother I could not have ade a decision. I had a hard time reading this one.

Thank you NetGalley for providing this book for an honest review. This book caught my attention because I have two children. I can't even imagine as a mother having to make a choice on which child to save. This book tugged at my heart strings and I felt so connected with the mom and daughter. I enjoyed the book. I was expecting one more twist at the end but other than that everything else was good.

It's every mother's worst nightmare...having to choose between your children in a life or death situation. This book was a page turner, trying to determine who was responsible, watching the family go through their grief, and the impact death has on everyone around you, especially when the circumstances are suspect. I enjoyed this book, and the only reason it didn't receive a 5 star was that I didn't connect with the characters. I wanted to feel what they were going through, but the character development felt a bit thin. I definitely do recommend this book though.
