Loved the setting and characters, with plenty of twists to keep you guessing. The setting in the 1980s added a layer of nostalgia which those of us who loved through the decade will no doubt appreciate, I am definitely reading the companion books!

The second book of the series, and I would heartily recommend reading the previous entry first. Lots of characters revolve around the female protagonist who is being groomed to run a major corporation. Family, political, and corporate plots abound with a multitude of of motives thrown into the mix. The book is an excellent candidate for a mini-series.
